IDF Performed ‘Localized Raids’ in Gaza

IDF did the raids to eliminate terrorists and find more information about hostages.

The Israel Defense Forces told Fox News’ Trey Yingst that they performed “localized raids” in Gaza:

The IDF tells Fox News’ Trey Yingst that Israeli forces entered the Gaza Strip Friday, both infantry forces and tanks, to conduct localized raids.

The Israeli military said the raids were an effort to eliminate militants along the border and to gather information about those held hostage inside the Gaza Strip.

This was not the highly anticipated full-scale invasion Israel has been preparing, but it marks the first time Israeli forces entered Gaza on the ground since the start of the war on Saturday.

IDF Commandos Rescue 250 Hostages in Harrowing Gun Battle With Hamas (video)

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has released dramatic footage showing troops of the Navy’s elite Shayetet 13 commando unit retaking a military post that had been overrun by Hamas gunmen on Saturday.

The IDF says troops killed more than 60 of the terrorists in the Sufa post and arrested another 26 of them. Among them was Muhammad Abu A’ali the Deputy Commander of the Hamas southern Naval Division.

The soldiers also rescued around 250 hostages alive.

I know you were just copying but those were hamas terrorists not mere gunmen.

There was no declaration of war so those “gunmen” were terrorists plain and simple.

“A declaration of war is a formal act by which one state announces existing or impending war activity against another. The declaration is a performative speech act by an authorized party of a national government, in order to create a state of war between two or more states.”

Whether they like it or not, Hamas is the elected govt of Gaza, else they couldn’t have been cashing all those donation checks since 2006. Hamas/Gaza committed an act of war on Israel on 7 Oct.

That same day Israel’s PM Netanyahu clearly stated “We are at war” during his televised international address.

In which case the gunmen would be properly termed War Criminals.

So much love for Palestinians, looking at the “Day of Rage,” so much howling for their plight, but no one wants to take them in.

Ever wonder why the Palestinian Authority has been quiet as a mouse for the last week?

Why it’s almost as if they want absolutely nothing to do with their supposed Palestinian brothers.

And now the worthless United Nations is calling for Israel to “rescind its evacuation order” because evacuation of 1.1 million is impossible and “Gaza is fast becoming a hell hole and is on the brink of collapse.”.

Well, if they didn’t want it to become a worse hell hole then they were already they shouldn’t have attacked Israel and killed Israeli children, women and men in the barbaric manner they did.

No sympathy here. Gazans will either evacuate or they will face the wrath of the IDF. It’s their choice.

If they had started walking when Israel told them to they’d be half way to the Sinai border by now.

If they didn’t want Gaza to become a hellhole they shouldn’t have supported Hamas. “But we were never Nazis” isn’t going to work any better than it did in 1945.

If the UN was more concerned about the Gazan evacuation than they were in interfering in Israeli operations they should have told the Egyptians to open the border. Like 5 days ago.
