“Hamas is inside the gates of American campuses”

“Hamas is inside the gates of American campuses”

My column in The Spectator (U.S.): “The use of the term “Resistance” to defend the mass murder and rapes against Israelis is no coincidence. HAMAS is an acronym for Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya (Islamic Resistance Movement)…. they are promoting Hamas.”

At Legal Insurrection we’ve been covering the campus anti-Israel movement almost since our start 15 years ago. There are a wide range of sociopaths and psychopaths who make up that movement, and we’ve covered just about all of them. There also are the useful idiots who think they are doing ‘social justice’.

If there was any doubt to the depravity of this movement in its various forms, the reaction to the Hamas mass killing, torture, rape, and beheading of Israelis (both civilian and military) should put that to doubt. Yet here we are, there are protests on many campuses in favor of Hamas and what Hamas did.

The Barbarians are inside the gates, as I’ve pointed out as to off-campus support for Hamas.

They also are on campuses, something I explored in a guest column at The Spectator (U.S.), It Can Happen at Harvard. That’s the title they chose, my title (which is the sub-title) is Hamas is inside the gates of American campuses, which has had a nice placement as the featured column on the home page all day:

Go to the link for the full story, here’s an excerpt:

How did we get to the point that on numerous American campuses devoted to “social justice,” many student groups openly celebrated a brutal Hamas attack that killed more than 1,000 Israeli civilians and saw many hundreds tortured, beheaded, executed in front of family members and set on fire?

How did we get to the point on campuses where any unwanted sexual contact, even if intended only as a non-violent romantic approach, is denounced as a crime against women and can lead to expulsion, yet student protesters celebrate the mass rape of Israeli women, including rape victims still bleeding from the violation or killed and stripped naked, being paraded through the streets of Gaza as howling mobs defiled and abused their bodies?

How did we get to the point that universities where demands for universal free pre-K are supported, the kidnapping of babies and children as hostages is considered a legitimate tactic?

How did we get to the point that at universities demanding “land acknowledgments” recognizing Native American claims, Jews are called colonizers and occupiers of their own ancestral homeland, to which resistance by any means is justified?

We got here through a confluence of ideological intolerance on campuses that has been building for decades, with Jews and the Jewish identity targeted. The moral rot on American campuses runs from the most to the least elite schools, and in a repeat of history, Jews are the universal enemy.

At Harvard, more than thirty student groups signed a statement blaming Israel and Israel alone for Hamas’s atrocities. Similar statements were issued at other top-tier universities. At CUNY, an institution with a deep and long history of rabid anti-Zionism and harassment of Jews, the president of the school was so worried about violence that she excused students from having to attend classes. At the University of Wisconsin, student protesters shouted “glory to the martyrs, glory to the murders,” and called to “liberate the land by any means necessary,” clearly supporting the Hamas massacres.

It is laughable that anyone would be surprised by these developments. Legal Insurrection has documented for fifteen years how the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement dehumanized Israeli Jews and perpetrated the falsehood that Jews are colonizers and occupiers of the ancestral Jewish homeland. In any other place, the liberation of a land by the indigenous people would be celebrated.

BDS merely repackaged anti-Jewish sentiment in the language of social justice. The rebranding of antisemitism convinced many students at elite institutions that justice required them to oppose the liberation of the land of Israel by the Jewish people — the very people driven from the land by Arab Muslim conquest. It is no surprise then that today’s ideologues will ignore that Hamas is repeating the grotesque violence perpetrated by the colonizers of the seventh century.

Alongside the BDS movement has been the rise of student groups devoted to the destruction of Israel. Chief among these groups is Students for Justice in Palestine, which operates both nationally and through local chapters, sometimes using different names. We have documented SJP’s long history of physical intimidation, disrupting events and speakers, and embracing well known terrorist murderers such as Leila Khalid and Rasmea Odeh. SJP often finds a handful of leftist Jewish anti-Zionist students to provide cover for their efforts to legitimize groups like Hamas. SJP has organized a “National Day of Resistance” to celebrate the attack on Israel. The use of the term “Resistance” to defend the mass murder and rapes against Israelis is no coincidence. HAMAS is an acronym for Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya (Islamic Resistance Movement). Naive or ignorant students, media and administrators may not understand this Hamas reference, and may think it a reference to the French Resistance, but SJP and its activists surely understand that they are promoting Hamas.

The National Day of Resistance by SJP’s UNC chapter features an image of the motorized paragliders used by Hamas to murder 270 people at a music festival in Israel devoted to peace, and asks participants to hide their identities by wearing masks. This is a full embrace of Hamas.

It’s often said that collapses happen gradually, then suddenly. On American campuses, when it comes to Jews, we are in the “suddenly” phase. Hamas is inside the gates.

If they were only on campuses, it would be easy to remove them. They are much more infested in our society than that.

Isn’t the reason that Gaza is fenced in that they were always sending suicide bombers to weddings and bus rides? A little history might explain things.

There’s a lot of history brushed over by those with their agenda. At this point, willful ignorance and bad faith analysis is the only reasonable explanation.

Of course but the terrorists and their supporters have a good time with those facts by inverting cause and effect by saying that the terrorism perpetrated was because of the fence.

Sometimes war IS the answer.

ap”Peace”ment is never the correct answer.

It is always the answer for cowards and weak leaders.

“Hamas is inside the gates of American campuses”

The America-hating left exploded when Barky illegitimately slimed into the Oval Office. His campaign offices had pictures of Che up. Barky brought in a ton of self-avowed Maoists for his junta. Barky and everyone around him hated America and Americanism with every fiber of their useless bodies.

Barky ushered in America’s rapid descent into societal suicide. That was the reason people voted for him – to take America down. The nihilists in the Western Left saw Barky as the avenging angel of the third world, come to rain pain and destruction on America, to make us pay for having done so much better than everyone else at pretty much everything.

The sad part is that the Founders had taken this sort of thing into account and tried to help us by requiring the President to be a natural born citizen, not some dual/triple national, born of a foreigner, who had not one iota of American sensibilities about him. Barky was never eligible to be President and all of these problems could have been averted if people had just had a little more respect for the Constitution, and AT LEAST, forced him to present evidence to a court to support the claims that he was a natural born citizen (which he clearly was not). But … no. People were too scared of being called “rrrraaaaaaaaccissssssstttt!!!!” to support anything like demanding proof of eligibility. No … couldn’t do that to poor Barky, poor little “Jakarta street kid”. Nope. Instead, America had to be sacrificed. And there you go.

It was more than being called racist. Anyone who tried was cancelled out of his career by the media and the left, Sheriff Joe Arpaio being one excellent example.

Sheriff Joe was much later. He investigated the laughable “jpeg release” of the birth certificate after Trump forced Barky to cough some made-up stuff up, finally in 2012. SHeriff Joe did an excellent job at that investigation, BTW.

But the cases brought before the 2008 election were all ignored by the courts and so many conservatives were scared sh*tless of anyone even talking about the idea that Barky should have to prove that he is eligible. I cannot tell you how many arguments and debates I had with conservatives about that – and they were completely nuts about the whole thing .. totally off the wall insane. And it was about stuff that everyone knew – Barky’s father was an alien which meant that Barky was not a natural born citizen. Now, the courts could have heard all that and still ruled in Barky’s favor, but they were too scared to even allow any of the cases through.

The Donofrio case in New Jersey was interesting because it was going after the SecState for negligence, which was open and shut since New Jersey had allowed Roger Calero on the Presidential ballot and he was not even an American citizen!!! Calero was a green-card holder from Nicaragua!! On the Presidential ballot in New Jersey! But the courts couldn’t be bothered with that, or Barky.

It was obvious from the way that so many people studiously ignored the Constitution that we were sunk. It would only get worse from there … and, boy, did it.

How we got here, a bit long, but thorough:
http://esr.ibiblio.org/?p=260

It isn’t just these loons. It’s the far wider range of allied useful idiots who spout the same neo Marxist crap about oppressors, victim hood, setters, colonization, stolen land, occupation and the rest of it. Antifa, BLM, eco extremists are just a few. Add in the militant supporters of trans ideology who basically apply the same logic viewing Parents as ‘oppressors’ of their children when they refuse to allow the kids mutilation. It’s not just Univ level academia. It’s in K-12. It’s in every meeting that starts with folks ‘acknowledging we are on land stolen from X’. It’s far more pervasive and thus a far bigger threat than most believe.

“We got here through a confluence of ideological intolerance on campuses that has been building for decades, with Jews and the Jewish identity targeted.” …….
One might even make a case that Jewish voters have provided the margin of political victory to deliver what we now see in the USA.

It’s almost COMICAL watching the fucks that were just weeks ago screaming that anybody saying that masks don’t work, the vaccine was no such thing, and that Trump won the election should be silenced, censored, and fired, suddenly discovering a newfound appreciation for ‘all speech should be allowed, even objectionable speech’.

There is an inverse relationship between the objection of leftists and the truth. The more they holler about assertions, the more likely they are to be true.

The New Nazism on the spectre, the symbol a masked face.

Hamas and the like have infested the government, as well. Robert Malley is the worst. But easy to add many more names, including Jake Sullivan, Susan Rice and most of the State Department. Ultimately, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris themselves. Then look at Congress. How many? Too many to list here. And how about the “kill-me-last Jews”? Schumer, Raskin, Schiff, Nadler, Wasserman Schultz, Blinken, etc. (“Kill-me-last Jews” is a non-registered trademark of the Stuytown Family.)

Shows Nazism, getting a population ( certainly not all just large percentage) to hate to point of murder wasn’t some one off situation.

I will continue to hammer this home that this is the making of the LEFT with many being Jewish. As a result we as a nation continue to pay for this stupidity and will suffer the consequences because of “Diversity Inclusion Equity” aka DIE!

Anyone want to bet that Biden will start pushing for the intake of Palestinian refugees?

Nobody should be surprised in any way. Support for the Palestinians was a big thing when I went to college in the 1980s. This is all about racial solidarity. Blacks and Browns see the Palestinians and the Israelis, and they see non-White people oppressed by Whites – and White Leftists see the same thing. It is a pure knee-jerk, emotional reaction – just as White Conservatives naturally identify with Israel. The wealthy Jewish Dem donors are purely transactional – they are buying Dem Party support. And the Democratic Party is far blacker, browner, and more feminist than it was 40 years ago.. I am hoping that as this war escalates to the max, the Democratic Party will split between its rich donors and base voters.
