George Washington U. Students Project Anti-Semitic Messages on School Library Building
“Glory to our Martyrs”
George Washington University is a woke school. It dropped its Colonials nickname, gave itself a “diversity audit,” and has a bias incident reporting system.
Students held a vigil for the “martyrs” of “Palestine” shortly after Hamas invaded Israel and killed 1,200 people, decapitated babies, raped women, burned people alive, and kidnapped over 200 people.
On Tuesday night, four students projected anti-Semitic messages on the side of the school’s library.

The four students responsible for the pro terrorist light show are now being confronted by police.
They refuse to move and continue to argue with police.

Names on a list please, they should be banned attending any school and employment. Who wants people like this in work or association?
Some of these college children will themselves drink too much koolaid and copy the HAMAS martyrs. Right there on campus probably.

Exactly. Certainly advisable to have a gun. But will handguns save Jews from Kristalnacht 2? If a Jew can leave, he should leave. This is particularly true of people with younger children, who will not have a future in the US. Maybe wait a few months, but Israel is here. Imagine what the US will look like after a second Biden/Harris (more Harris) administration.

Time to stop and stand our ground. Many, like me, are too old and sick to run. May as well stay and kill one or more before they try to haul us off.
As a long time reader of LI, I understand and am sympathetic with your situation. I wish you the best. My message is for people who are more mobile, particularly those with kids. Standing your ground sounds good. But it doesn’t work in practice. Jews were a minority everywhere before Israel was created and could not defend themselves. That is why Israel
was created.
Getting a gun with no training on safe handling and possible scenarios is just asking for a long prison sentence. You have to think through how you will use a gun when confronted with violence before that violence happens. There are lots of folks who didn’t and are paying the price.
I have seen people in training (good on them) who frankly were terrifying in how badly and irresponsibly they handled a weapon.
Using a gun is a matter of common sense and being careful. You also need to understand when firearms can be used in self defense.
And seriously consider moving to a sane area if it doesn’t.
The aftermath of WW2 made Jew-hate go underground. It was no longer socially acceptable to say these things out loud. Overt hatred of the Negro also became increasingly passé.
As the years pass and those who had direct or indirect memories of the Holocaust age and die out, anti-Semitism is indeed bubbling back into open Western culture. This little escapade by Hamas, where some people did something has highlighted for the comfortable West that Jew-hatred is alive and well in our midst.
In fact, I posit that because racism against blacks has been so thoroughly repressed, that whatever it is inside people that makes them desire to hate entire groups of people for their bloodlines, has transferred to the Jews. Of some note also, many blacks in this country are ferociously anti-Semitic, yet will never be called out because black skin trumps Jewish blood.
Leftists as a group tend to hate Jews as well: I would hope this would finally get through to our liberal, secular Jewish citizens, but alas. God may be continuing to allow the punishment of His stiff-necked people.

There is no significant difference between Nazis and progressive fascists. Their goal. Is the same – absolute power, they just use different lies to justify the evil they die.
Jews getting salami-sliced by the radicals is a big problem for the Left given how much cultural and financial support they bring to the coalition. Boomers could live with the unprincipled exception of Israel while the holocaust remained in living memory, but their true-believing millennial children are on a crusade of moral purity.

As a graduate of the GW law school, I stopped making gifts to GW years ago. Now, its time to just shut the place down. We don’t really need another “safety school” after all. Large numbers of GW’s undergraduates would be better off working or in trade school/appreticeship programs. DC could use the buildings to ameliorate the housing shortage.
There were a couple of similar incidents in Jacksonville a year ago. City council passed a law making it illegal to project messages onto public or private buildings without the owners’ permission.
