Hamas Releases Two American Hostages, a Mother and Daughter From Chicago

Judith and Natalie Raanan.

More information has come out! Fantastic news!!

Trey Yingst is one of the few who we can trust covering this war.

The mother and daughter are with the Red Cross. No one has released their identities.

This is great news:

“In response to Qatari efforts, Al-Qassam Brigades released two American citizens (a mother and her daughter) for humanitarian reasons, and to prove to the American people and the world that the claims made by Biden and his fascist administration are false and baseless,” Al-Qassam Brigades spokesman Abu Obaida said Friday.

A source tells Fox News the hostages are now in the care of the Red Cross.

U.S. officials say 32 Americans have been killed since Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel on October 7, brutally murdering as many as 1,400 Israelis. Israel has confirmed at least 203 Israelis are being held captive by Hamas in the Gaza Strip. At least 11 Americans were unaccounted for as of Friday morning.

President Biden has said securing the safe release of American hostages is a top priority of the U.S. government.

“To those who are living in limbo, waiting desperately to learn the fate of a loved one, especially to families of the hostages – You’re not alone. We’re working with partners throughout the region, pursuing every avenue to bring home those who are being held captive by Hamas,” Biden said in remarks from Israel earlier this week.

Great, now do the rest, Hamas.

$100 million

Ironclaw in reply to gonzotx. | October 20, 2023 at 2:14 pm

So $50 million each, well, that’s better than the $1.2 billion each they paid to the mullahs to release hostages.

“Belle

Biden has asked Congress for the following:

$50 billion investment in the US military-industrial complex
$61.3 billion aid for Ukraine
About $798 million for the Air Force for “response to the situation in Ukraine and related costs”
$30 billion for operations and maintenance “to respond to the situation in Ukraine”
$846 million for the purchase of missiles “to respond to the situation around Ukraine”
$14.3 billion to help Israel
$4 billion until 2027 for the purchase of Iron Dome and David’s Sling air defense systems for Israel
$9.15 billion for humanitarian aid to Ukraine, Israel, and Gaza
About $11.8 billion for economic support for Ukraine and countries “affected” by the situation
$2 billion for support in the Asia-Pacific region

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/mn4Txe6u7ms

That is a total of $92 billion directly for Ukraine with another approximate $21 billion that can be possibly be used for Ukraine. And $50 billion for the military weapons that will be used for big profits, money laundering into campaigns, and who knows what foreign country will benefit from that money.”

Your tax dollars at work.

and to prove to the American people and the world that the claims made by Biden and his fascist administration are false and baseless
IOW, virtue signaling/propaganda.

“and to prove to the American people and the world that the claims made by Biden and his fascist administration are false and baseless,”

Nope. To hope that America doesn’t bring in those big aircraft carriers and 1,000 Marines to search Gaza for hostages.

I have mixed feelings about that though. I want all the hostages (including EVERYONE) released, and Hamas crushed.

I’m afraid though that as we have found before- getting IN is easy; getting OUT is hard.

Want to bet? $100 says they’re not Jewish.

All the hatred at Ukraine is proof of how effective the Russian propaganda campaigns have been.

Ironclaw in reply to geronl. | October 20, 2023 at 2:26 pm

No, it’s proof that we’re f*cking broke and we shouldn’t be wasting money we don’t have defending the borders of other countries when they won’t defend our own borders.

Ironclaw in reply to Ironclaw. | October 20, 2023 at 2:27 pm

Besides, I think the main reason for giving money to the Ukraine is because they have blackmail info on the pedophile-in-chief, and I’d rather have the info than give them the money.

Indifference isn’t hatred. Nor is intolerance for additional US taxpayer contributions to Ukraine. The US isn’t the world police. This is a conflict between two Eastern European Nations. The Europeans can handle and additional contributions if they believe it to be in their National Interest or in the collective interest of the European Union. It’s their neighborhood not ours.

Gosport in reply to CommoChief. | October 20, 2023 at 2:58 pm

The US needs to get over this compulsion to pick up the tab for the rest of the world’s problems while ignoring our own.

Especially when we BORROW the damned money in the first place.

Cut out the middleman. Let whoever we are borrowing it from do the giving away.

CommoChief in reply to Gosport. | October 20, 2023 at 3:11 pm

Sadly much of the money in the last several years of rampant expansion of Federal spending isn’t ‘borrowed’ from those had excess dollars to invest but rather it was created. It came from the actions of the Federal Reserve as opposed to China, Japan, EU Nations or whomever buying our bonds in a normal bond auction. I would point out that many Nations have reduced their purchase of US debt since we threw Russia off the Swift international settlement system. Some, particularly Eastern gifts are ramping up their reserves of gold instead of buying as much of US Treasuries.

          What about frankincense and myrrh?

Seriously, what did auto-cucumber replace there? “Gov’ts” maybe? I would like to know.

CommoChief in reply to CommoChief. | October 20, 2023 at 4:26 pm

Gov’t. Wish we could revoke some of the disastrous decisions of our govt as easily.

      txvet2 in reply to CommoChief. | October 20, 2023 at 4:47 pm

We shouldn’t be spending the money doing for them what we aren’t doing for ourselves – but the bigger crime is that it’ll all end up being wasted when we finally give up and let Russia have their way. We get bigger deficits and a bigger reputation as quitters.

        CommoChief in reply to txvet2. | October 20, 2023 at 5:03 pm

Agree with all but the assertion that Russia getting their way along their periphery is any less objectionable than the US getting its way along our periphery and that notion we had a dog in the fight to begin with. We didn’t and the sooner we recognize it the sooner we can stop pissing away $ and further expending our vastly diminished international standing. Not to mention healing some internal domestic rifts among our political leadership or at least stopping further harm.

          txvet2 in reply to CommoChief. | October 20, 2023 at 5:40 pm

I didn’t say or imply that we had a dog in the Ukrainian fight. Quite the opposite. But it is true that we have a bad habit of sticking out noses in other people’s business and then losing interest after a while. We’ve done it for decades. I got to “enjoy” one of those excursions in 1968.

CommoChief in reply to CommoChief. | October 20, 2023 at 7:24 pm

If we don’t have a dog in the fight then we don’t lose any prestige by walking away. Any idea that we would suffer a loss of prestige by choosing to walk from this situation, one that isn’t in our direct Nation Security interest or the interest of a treaty ally (which ain’t Ukraine) is Cray Cray.

Agree 100% about the proclivity of our DC establishment to put US blood and treasure at risk for all sorts things that have little to no bearing on our National Security.

The Gentle Grizzly in reply to geronl. | October 20, 2023 at 3:05 pm

Some still want us to be the world policeman or nannny. Many taxpayers finally opened their eyes. We can’t afford it.

We couldn’t afford “stimulus” or any of the other crazy crap of the last few years, sending ammo to Ukraine is a drop in an ocean.

CommoChief in reply to geronl. | October 20, 2023 at 7:55 pm

All those drops in the ocean add up. This attitude towards Federal spending essentially ‘hey, we already big balling on the taxpayer’s credit card for all sorts of shit so what’s another $80 or $100 or $120 billion?’ is how got a $33 Trillion federal debt.

I would remind the neocons that the cost of the debt service will exceed total US Defense Spending this year. That means we need less military adventures and less of the DC establishment arrogance in stoking tensions to create/provoke conflicts peripheral to the direct national security in tests of the US. Very soon we won’t be able to afford the ante.

      Not nearly enough

What about the 30 Americans Hamas killed? How many of them were raped, tortured or burned alive? Biden hasn’t expressed any anger over that. He’s more concerned about a rocket that hit the Gaza hospital parking lot. Biden said he’s “deeply saddened and outraged by the incident.”

Five minutes later he’s eager to give them some money.

Not one cent to the Ukrainians!

Hey guys, did you see the antisemitic editorial cartoon in the Philly Inquirer? It’s like something you would have seen in Germany in the 30’s. Insane.

They release two Americans, Biden is THRILLED!

The ground invasion is delayed. Then they will release one and the ground invasion is delayed again . . . until there is no more ground invasion…

Keep this in your mental file and never be taken alive. Take as many as you can with you… to the grave.

artichoke in reply to gonzotx. | October 21, 2023 at 9:56 pm

And the attitude we should have if our hostages are taken, is that they are dead already. Move on. It’s nice that these people have been released but it’s really a distraction for all but their immediate circle.

Muslim terrorists murder 35 americans. Biden says white supremists are the greatest threat to america now??
