‘Didn’t Happen in a Vacuum’: U.N. Leader Blames Israel, Jews for Hamas Massacre

I have a lot of respect for my boss. I’m shocked I still have a tongue b/c I’ve been biting it so much to hold back in my posts.

It’s really hard to hold back after United Nations General Secretary Antonio Guterres blamed Israel and the Jews for the Hamas massacre:

“It is important to also recognize the attacks by Hamas did not happen in a vacuum,” Guterres said. “The Palestinian people have been subjected to 56 years of suffocating occupation. They have seen their land steadily devoured by settlements and plagued by violence; their economy stifled; their people displaced and their homes demolished. Their hopes for a political solution to their plight have been vanishing.”Guterres added that “the grievances of the Palestinian people cannot justify the appalling attacks by Hamas. And those appalling attacks cannot justify the collective punishment of the Palestinian people.”

Israel is fighting back, as they should, against the disgraceful remarks.

Israel Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan called for Guterres to resign immediately.
