‘Total Free for All’: Thousands of Mostly Single Men Swarm Into Eagle Pass, TX

‘Total Free for All’: Thousands of Mostly Single Men Swarm Into Eagle Pass, TX

The Biden administration sent out a “fact sheet” bragging about the moves it’s supposedly taken to secure the border about 12 hours after evidence of the mass migration. Nice try, folks. We’re not stupid and know what you’re trying to do.

I don’t think I have to write a lot in this post. Fox News’s Bill Melugin’s tweets and videos say it all.

The Biden administration is trying to make things seem fine and dandy, but we’re not stupid.

Eagle Pass, TX

On Wednesday, thousands of illegal immigrants crossed into Eagle Pass, TX. The majority were single adult men.

Melugin published three videos and one photo at 9:32 AM, showing over 1,000 people, mostly Venezuelans, entering Eagle Pass.

Around 45 minutes later, Melugin showed more crossing in the water. Texas DPS said they counted about 4,000.

So many single men.

Update 75 minutes: The mass crossing was still going on.

Melugin described it as a “free for all.”

The mass crossing happened exactly two years after Melugin witnessed 15,000 Haitians crossing in the same spot.

The side-by-side images and videos send chills down my spine.

The arrivals overwhelmed the Border Patrol so much that the agency had to close down two bridges to move more people to help with the migrants.

Texas is doing everything it can to help stop the crossings. The state put buoys in the Rio Grande.

Officials also installed razor wire.

The Biden administration CUT that razor wire on Wednesday, opening the border even wider for the migrants.

Biden Administration

But don’t worry, you guys. The Biden administration released a FACT SHEET because when you label it a FACT SHEET it automatically becomes filled with facts.

Except, you know, it doesn’t.

It’s not a coincidence I got an email from the Biden administration about border enforcement Wednesday evening.

Considering how many people we see crossing the border every single day, the numbers in the “fact sheet” are absolutely nothing. For example:

Adding DHS holding and processing capacity. DHS has expanded its capacity to hold an additional 3,250 people in its facilities, for a CBP holding capacity of nearly 23,000. This builds on expansions of several thousand across CBP and ICE facilities put in place before May to process, detain, and remove more noncitizens who do not have a lawful basis to remain in the United States. Since May 12, we have processed 110,000 individuals for expedited removal and completed an average of 4,000 credible fear cases each week, double the previous high.

El-Oh-El.

Melugin noted the majority of the crossers today came from Venezuela.

So what does DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas do? Secretary Mayorkas Announces Extension and Redesignation of Venezuela for Temporary Protected Status

El-Oh-El again. I do not believe in coincidences. It makes no mention of the mass crossing on Wednesday. None. But he’s extending the TPS for 18 months after reviewing the situation….in Venezuela:

After reviewing the country conditions in Venezuela and consulting with interagency partners, Secretary Mayorkas determined that an 18-month TPS extension and redesignation are warranted based on Venezuela’s increased instability and lack of safety due to the enduring humanitarian, security, political, and environmental conditions. This redesignation provides temporary protection from removal, as well as employment authorization for individuals in the United States before July 31, 2023.

“Temporary protected status provides individuals already present in the United States with protection from removal when the conditions in their home country prevent their safe return,” said Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. “That is the situation that Venezuelans who arrived here on or before July 31 of this year find themselves in. We are accordingly granting them the protection that the law provides. However, it is critical that Venezuelans understand that those who have arrived here after July 31, 2023 are not eligible for such protection, and instead will be removed when they are found to not have a legal basis to stay.”

It may be time for citizens along the border to take matters into their own hands….

I was thinking the same thing. And, if the federales try to interfere, give them the same treatment, then take their equipment.

    War is war.

    AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to ChrisPeters. | September 21, 2023 at 4:49 pm

It may be time that citizens all over America take matters into their own hands.

Expect an increase in crime, but don’t expect the propaganda press to report on it.

But you’ll know. You will know.

I myself feel that my(and every other US citizens) well-being and life are threatened by this massive movement of humanity into my home country….If I was in charge of the border women and children would be highly vetted. As for the young adult males I would fingerprint and eye scan them and spin them 180 degrees on their axis and boot em back over the border into Mexico where they crossed over….They would be promised that if they returned they would be placed in a special North Korean FEMA workcamp or forced to fight Russia in Europe.

Keep voting Democrat. The head of the fish is already rotted.

Now to make it to the tail.

Biden should be Impeached for this. I have no idea what the House Republicans are waiting for. The evidence speaks for itself.

Half the R party doesn’t mind this.

CommoChief in reply to Whitewall. | September 21, 2023 at 8:27 am

Correction 1/2 the of the GoP politicians don’t mind it though it’s probably closer to 1/3 and even that’s way too damn many. On the the other hand the constituents in some of these ‘moderate’ CD in blue States or suburban CD in Red States who have historically been willing to be influenced by sob stories putting emotion over facts may be figuring out that a course correction is needed. Hope so anyway.

Whitewall in reply to CommoChief. | September 21, 2023 at 8:58 am

I hope so too but it is the nature of moderates to ‘wake up’ too late. “Do something’! they yell. With streets in cities overwhelmed by unassimilated third world males, women and the elderly become daily crime victims. Then things get worse. With more unassimilated ‘barbarians’ pouring in, we are rapidly entering late Roman period.

CommoChief in reply to Whitewall. | September 21, 2023 at 9:53 am

That’s a very good analogy. In many ways we resemble the late Roman Empire where the elite of the day complained about decline but didn’t send their sons to the Legions. This was after they had hollowed out their middle class when the yeomanry was spending decades away from their small farm holdings losing them to the ‘big agriculture’ of the day. Lots of similarities.

Chief: Every time I’ve made that claim, I’ve gotten shade from people who just can’t even contemplate the fact that we’re to all appearances at the end of the Republic.

The Gentle Grizzly in reply to TargaGTS. | September 21, 2023 at 10:53 am

Because there aren’t enough Republicans to get the job done, and Democrats are the enemy and none of their votes can be counted on.

The best we have is Biden’s ever-steepening decline.

AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to The Gentle Grizzly. | September 21, 2023 at 5:00 pm

All the Republicans in the House have to do is refuse to pass a bill to budget the government, except the DoD.

Homeland Security can handle this mess on their own dime.

    AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to TargaGTS. | September 21, 2023 at 4:50 pm

The GD Republicans are salivating over cheap labor and the ability to advance the police state.

That is invasion by an army. Joe Biden and his Democrat party army of the future. The degree of hate for the American people because we elected DJT is off the charts. .

Democrats in NYC and elsewhere are demanding more money to pay for all these illegal aliens, but where will that money come from? It simply does not exist. Others are demanding that we give all these illegal aliens green cads and jobs to solve the problem, but where will all those jobs come from? Those jobs simply do not exist. In an effort to bring in an unlimited number of Democrat voters, they have destroyed the country and themselves.

There’s a line in Atlas Shrugged where the takers having destroyed the means of production with taxes, regulations and Marxist unions complained that not enough was being produced and the few remaining competent folks trying their damndest to make it work had had enough. They explained that it was possible to meet their production demands/quota even if they wanted to b/c of the intervention of the takers policies. The takers were shrieking that ‘but you Capitalists always find a way to make it work’.

Can’t remember the exact quote but they the gist of it. That stuck with me. IMO we are entering the beginning of this phase where we have used up all the accumulated capital and inertia of prior generations while refusing to reinvest and nurture the society/economy instead choosing short term quarterly results and political decisions that get them past the next election but are unsustainable. There’s time to turn it around and have a cycle of rebirth and renewal but the window of opportunity is rapidly closing.

The US Chamber of Commerce has written their own epitaph. As Lenin said…. the bourgeois class will be crushed by high taxes and inflation.

CommoChief in reply to alaskabob. | September 21, 2023 at 1:55 pm

The US Chamber of Commerce has long since sold out and jumped into bed with big govt and crony capitalism. They could care less about you, me, their employees, the economic health of their communities or the Nation. Until they reverse course no one on our side should feel it necessary to step in to protect them from the d/prog and their policies. We should spend our limited political capital fighting the stupid d/prog policies that directly impact the middle class and only if there’s time and energy left over worry about the Chamber. Of course they could always choose to help that effort and it would would be accomplished all the sooner with time left to help them in turn. Not holding my breath.

Whitewall in reply to Cleetus. | September 21, 2023 at 10:09 am

The jobs may or may not exist but that is not the calculation. Illegals simply have to be here to be counted in the next census and second, they must remain ‘needy’ and breeding..

This country needs to destroy the ‘scallywagg pirates’ trying to take command of our mighty ship ( our Republic).

Gov Abbott, little 1/4 measures

Does nothing and he knows it

CLOSE THE BORDER

TargaGTS in reply to gonzotx. | September 21, 2023 at 10:51 am

Thanks to US v Arizona and several other landmark court decisions, Abbott’s hands are largely tied. What little authority he enjoys is limited strictly to state lands and privately held property. Abbott can’t do anything about illegals crossing over on federal property…and there’s a LOT of federally owned property in TX that immediately borders Mexico. But worse yet, even when Abbott does take steps that work – like running razor-wire along the border that TX controls – Biden’s CBP simply cuts the razor-wire and there’s nothing Abbott can do about it.

gonzotx in reply to TargaGTS. | September 21, 2023 at 11:22 am

      No they are not
      It is time to
Stand up to the Feds as they have a abdicated their responsibility

      America will stand behind Abbott

      He could be a hero

      Instead he’s a coward

You have no idea, none (zero, zip, zilch) what you are talking about. Abbott has no power to stop illegal immigration because the freaking Constitution states exactly what entity is in charge of our borders (HINT: it’s not the freaking states). How can you be so ignorant and ill-informed yet still so sure that your completely and embarrassingly bad take is correct?

We live in a Constitutional Republic. Have you read the Constitution? If not, I urge you to attempt to do so. Then tell me which branch of government has purview over immigration. I’ll wait.

alaskabob in reply to gonzotx. | September 21, 2023 at 12:18 pm

No worries… all voting will be just a participation award as The Party will make to final decisions. The sweet irony is that all those Dems …. minions and outer party members will find that their control of The Party is gone. All of those white aged leaders are even now being replaced.

That a nice little street army they have there. The Law of the Jungle (revised 2023-2024) is coming.

We have the electoral vote to prevent nation wide voter fraud which EVERYONE knows is happening in every state. Paper ballots traceabthe voters. voter PLEASE.. Screw the secret ballot as it’s not secret ..I know what party your part of , if you have been voting and who you donate to ,,,soooo very secret !!!!

Instead he’s a coward

you think and post like you’re still back home in wisconsin–you simply dont comprehend the scope of things here under the lone star

our border with mexico is over a thousand miles long–even if the FEDS deployed a couple or three divisions to the scene, they would likely be unable to close it / hold it

there is no state on the southern border that, on it’s own, has the resources to process the flood of illegals let alone resist / deport those who will come regardless

don’t care if trump were governor or even george patton, without the support/resources/manpower of the FEDS, ” closing the border ” is practically undoable given abbot’s limited resources–amazing you are just too yankee to see that if abbot could do it, he would–he’s not a coward by any means–he’s trying, he’s taking actions to at least curtail some of it but he’s not sitting in the whitehouse

the security of our national borders is one of the few clear-cut responsibilities of the federal government yet fjb refuses / has failed to carry-out one of his sworn responsibilities–fjb is the problem, not abbot–fjb is the coward not abbot

CommoChief in reply to texansamurai. | September 21, 2023 at 2:11 pm

1,254 miles long border. To secure it would take at minimum one platoon size element (call it 40 troops) per mile 24/7/365. So one Company size element per mile or a Battalion size element every 3 miles to give some defense in depth, a QRF and bodies to plug into the line platoons for sickness, injury, leave.

That’s 418 Battalion size elements for the Texas border alone. We have 10 Divisions in the Army. Lets say each has 4 maneuver Brigades with 4 battalions each. That’s 160 Battalion size elements in the Army Divisions. Add in the separate Brigades and we come up with maybe anther 16 Battalions. Add in the USMC and we get closer but still far.short of the goal. Let’s be honest this is a very dubious proposition of 40 guys doing 8 hour shifts ad infinitum to protect a frontage one mile long.

It would take a lot more than that. You’d also have to have a few combat divisions to repel attacks from Biden’s military trying to reopen the border. Not to mention a real air force.

AF_Chief_Master_Sgt | September 21, 2023 at 4:47 pm

Simply put:

A Big F YOU to all the asshats here on LI who have downvoted me and called me a bigot for pointing out that the majority of the illegal alien invaders are military aged men.

That was when hundreds were trickling over the border. Now, due to inaction, there are thousands each day.

Perhaps you will be happy when these invaders show up in your to town, deplete your capacity for services, and begin to rape and rob you, your neighbors, and your children

I’ve run out of ducks to give.

“The Biden administration released a FACT SHEET because when you label it a FACT SHEET it automatically becomes filled with facts.”

No it just means that Mayorkas can’t spell FART.

110 years ago or there about, we knew very well how to stop thousands of military-aged men from crossing a line. Time to repel an invasion, people.
