‘It’s Going to be a While’: Biden Makes Excuses for Delaying Visit to East Palestine, OH

The toxic train derailment in East Palestine, OH, happened six months ago.

President Joe Biden promised he would visit the town.

East Palestine, OH, is 4 hours and 44 minutes away from the White House.

During those six months, Biden went on numerous vacations, visited Ukraine, toured Florida after Hurricane Idalia, and even went to Hawaii after the horrible wildfires.

Still no visit to East Palestine. Now it’s going to be a little longer because he has so much to do:

BIDEN: “Well, I haven’t had the occasion to go to East Palestine. There’s a lot going on here and I just haven’t been able to break. I was thinking that I’d go to East Palestine this week, but I was reminded I’ve got to go literally around the world. I’m going from Washington to India to Vietnam to — and so, it’s going to be a while. But we’re making sure that East Palestine has what they need materially in order to deal with their problems.”
