Activists Arrested After Occupying McCarthy’s Office, Demanded HIV Program Renewal

I wonder if those activists will be charged and given sentences similar to those charged in the Capitol Hill riot.

Authorities arrested several activists who occupied Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy’s office.

They demanded a renewal of PEPFAR, which gives federal funding for HIV and AIDS treatment, prevention, and research.

I wonder if those activists will be charged and given sentences similar to those charged in the Capitol Hill riot.

After all:

PEPFAR expires at the end of the month:

The protest comes as the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, or PEPFAR, is set to lapse on Oct. 1 amid criticism from House Republicans who say much of the budget is allocated toward abortion providers — a suggestion that Democrats deny. A lapse would significantly affect the program that is credited with saving more than 25 million lives and combating the global HIV epidemic.

The PEPFAR renewal is just one of several items on the House agenda over the next three weeks as lawmakers seek to pass a budget ahead of the Sept. 30 deadline, as well as come to an agreement on other spending legislation, such as the National Defense Authorization Act, and the Federal Aviation Administration reauthorization.

To the demonstrators: No.

Here’s an opportunity for all the zealots demanding or defending insanity harsh sentences for J6 protesters to show us if they are partisan hacks or really believe their own BS. I sincerely doubt many push for similarly harsh sentences nor do I expect harsh sentences to be handed down. Instead they will get a light slap on the wrist in comparison to J6 and confirm the two tiered justice system exists.

What happens when McCarthy betrays right wing fiscal conservatives and authorizes a Paul Ryan budget deal?

We stamp our feet and hold our collective breath until we turn blue in the face?

And this is why I will always refer to them as GD Republicans.

They will NEVER hold liberals to the same standards as conservatives, and they will always find a way to lick the ass of democrats who want to destroy this country.

The only political party on the planet who refuses to support the people who vote them in office.

anybody wanna bet that these guys get the same treatment as those that occupied the Speaker’s office on 1/6?

By the liberal definition, this is an insurrection. Lock them in a hole and we will see if they ever go to court without a guilty plea.

INSURRECTION!!!!!

Democrat agitprop is always approved of by the authorities.

After they were evacuated, I hope Kevin cleaned his toilet seat.

They should be held in solitary confinement for 2 years, then sentenced for 20 more.

You forgot the 5am raids by FBI SWAT teams with all electronic devices confiscated and any conspirators investigated. Oh, and getting fired from their jobs… except it doesn’t look like any of those losers are employed.

They’re probably already back out on the street.

You won’t find a single J6 protestor that was there to agitate in favor of a gibme program.
That’s practically all the left ever demonstrates over.

AIDS is still an epidemic? Do the homosexuals not understand the vector? How about not engaging in anal sex? Did the doctors and epidemiologists fail to explain how AIDS is spread?

Dems have given cause for many RICO cases, it seems like an eternity waiting for them to receive what they have coming.

Don’t wonder

They won’t

Take them outside, superglue them to the middle of the closest road.
