Fauci’s Replacement Could Be Even Worse than He Was
Introducing Dr. Jeanne Marrazzo : The mask-pushing, lab-leak denying, vaccine-embracing, diversity choice of the medical-bureaucratic complex.
While Dr. Anthony Fauci has been under scrutiny for his statements regarding his knowledge of the gain-of-function work at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and his deceptions related to the “Proximal Origins” paper, his replacement has been chosen.
Dr. Jeanne Marrazzo will be the next director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the National Institutes of Health announced Wednesday.
Marrazzo is expected to begin her role in the fall, the NIH said. She will take over from Dr. Hugh Auchincloss Jr., who has served as acting director since Dr. Anthony Fauci stepped down from the post in December.
Marrazzo is director of the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
“This is a great opportunity for Dr. Marrazzo to make a big difference to the country, and it is indicative of the high regard that exists for both her and UAB. While we are sad to see her go, we are delighted that Jeanne has been called to this national service and we are proud to count her as one of us at UAB,” UAB President Ray Watts and Dr. Anupam Agarwal, senior vice president of medicine and dean of the UAB Heersink School of Medicine, said in a joint statement on her appointment.
It appears she has the potential to be even worse than Fauci was.
First, there is the mask-pushing.

Marrazzo supported a wide array of covid policies that have damaged our society at the generational level.
Dr Marrazzo pushed for mask-wearing in schools during the pandemic despite warnings that face coverings would hamper their education.
She said in July 2020 that masking pupils is ‘the only way to keep kids in school and keep them safe and particularly, to keep schools open’.
Dr Marrazzo said she believed school mask policies were right, even if some students may not properly follow them or find them uncomfortable.
The infectious disease specialist added: ‘Imperfect mask use in settings that we’re really concerned about is better than no mask use at all’.
As recently as November, Dr Marrazzo said she continues to avoid shaking hands whenever possible because of Covid-19.
She went all-in on the natural origin story that Fauci was touting, and even brought in a puppet pangolin during a discussion.

Fauci’s replacement felt like a kid on Christmas when getting her covid vaccination.

Marrazzo appears to be a diversity hire, brought to us by the medical-bureaucratic complex.
The NIH said Marrazzo’s research has focused specifically on sexually transmitted diseases and the prevention of HIV infection. Science reported that the 61-year-old will be the first openly gay director of an NIH institute.
She was the recipient of the American Sexually Transmitted Diseases Association’s Distinguished Career Award, the highest recognition of contributions to research and mentoring in the field.
In addition, Marrazzo has been a principal investigator on NIH grants continuously since 1997 and has served frequently as a peer reviewer and advisory committee member.
At this point, we can only hope that there isn’t another new pandemic and/or she doesn’t have the same degree of megalomania that Fauci had. Either way, I don’t like our chances.

Attitude-wise, she seems no different from Fauci.
With a background in HIV/AIDS research and 26 years doing research funded by NIH she’s had an opportunity to get connected with the Deep State and with Pharma. But not nearly as long as Fauci had before the pandemic hit. She hasn’t been able to place her cronies at NIAID yet.
On the other hand, she won’t have to cultivate the mass media the way Fauci once had to. They’ll be eating out of her hand from Day 1.
