Colorado Middle Schooler Showcases School’s Hypocrisy Over Treatment of His Gadsden Flag Patch

The Vanguard School District in Colorado supported and reinstated middle schooler Jaiden, 12, after the school forced him to leave due to the Gadsden flag patch on his backpack.

These people, who are supposed to educate our children, claim the patch violated the school policy against symbols referring to “drugs, tobacco, alcohol, or weapons.”

These people also insist the Gadsden flag has “origins with slavery” since the designer had slaves.

Fire all these people over their stupidity. Anyone who received a proper American history lesson knows the Gadsden flag rose to popularity in the war for independence from tyrannical Britain. It has nothing to do with Christopher Gadsden’s slaves.

Good for the mother who stuck up for her child.

I also love this kid: “She said I have to take it off. I don’t understand. Why would I have to take off a patriotic symbol? It’s just weird, it’s kind of weird. I feel like she’s infringing on my rights.”

The child knows history and the Constitution better than the people in charge of his school.

It doesn’t stop there.

Jaiden had his picture taken by a car in the school parking lot.

The person who owns the car isn’t wearing the stickers in the school but the parking lot is school property.

Plus people notice it.
