Colorado Middle Schooler Showcases School’s Hypocrisy Over Treatment of His Gadsden Flag Patch

Colorado Middle Schooler Showcases School’s Hypocrisy Over Treatment of His Gadsden Flag Patch

The Vanguard School District in Colorado supported and reinstated middle schooler Jaiden, 12, after the school forced him to leave due to the Gadsden flag patch on his backpack.

These people, who are supposed to educate our children, claim the patch violated the school policy against symbols referring to “drugs, tobacco, alcohol, or weapons.”

These people also insist the Gadsden flag has “origins with slavery” since the designer had slaves.

Fire all these people over their stupidity. Anyone who received a proper American history lesson knows the Gadsden flag rose to popularity in the war for independence from tyrannical Britain. It has nothing to do with Christopher Gadsden’s slaves.

Good for the mother who stuck up for her child.

I also love this kid: “She said I have to take it off. I don’t understand. Why would I have to take off a patriotic symbol? It’s just weird, it’s kind of weird. I feel like she’s infringing on my rights.”

The child knows history and the Constitution better than the people in charge of his school.

It doesn’t stop there.

Jaiden had his picture taken by a car in the school parking lot.

The person who owns the car isn’t wearing the stickers in the school but the parking lot is school property.

Plus people notice it.

“Jaiden had his picture taken by a car in the school parking lot.”

I didn’t know cars could be photographers… 🙂

Good for Jaiden.

The Bolshevik schoolteacher was alarmed by the manifestation of freethink in a doublethink institution.

Non compliance is the way to go, require these ideologues to demonstrate the absurdity and hypocrisy of their actions. Then file suit if possible to extract sufficient pain and penalties to discourage them and others like them from doing so in the future. Good or bad this will likely include the voting public aka taxpayers who put these folks into positions of authority paying the price. Tough cookies.

In the last seven or eight months there’s been a cultural sea-change of sorts. This Jaison kid wearing a freshly ironed shirt and oversized goofy backpack. He puts a fresh face on the new culture movement. Not a cynical oldster trying on a new persona $$.

It took me a while to place this kid. He’s the unassuming nerdish Kid Spielberg put in every one of his 1980’s films. But for real and a goya.

The school administrators perfectly evince the vile Dumb-o-crats’ ethos and behavior — obnoxious totalitarianism and bullying, melded with smug sanctimony and off-the-charts stupidity and ignorance.

Can anyone tell me what them bumper stickers have printed on them? I can read “make america green again” and part of another but I’m interested in what they say. PS- I’m aware bumper stickers do not have the ability to talk goddess.

    Same here.

Jaison’s patches are a St. Michael protect us patch, two crypto currency patches and a third I can’t identify.

Yeah, one could hope for a little better photography.

I can read exactly one and a half of them. Another says “Thunderbolt and lightning, very very frightning,” but there’s a face on it I can’t make out… and it looks more like Shakespeare than Trump.

PJ Media reports another one of them says “Don’t mess with trans kids.” They also report that they confiscated his St. Michael patch “because it had a sword on it.”

The state flag/seal/coat of arms of Massachusetts features a native American with a bow and arrow, and a disembodied arm with a sword. The motto on the coat of arms reads, “With a sword, she seeks quiet peace under liberty.” None of these facts ever cut a single cube of ice whenever we met to testify against the onslaught of annual gun-control bills.

(In view of this, I actually once had a friendly legislator file a bill to change the state motto to “Respublica quam melior omni scit” — “the state that knows better than everybody else.”)

New motto for San Francisco: “Omnes ad stercus”.

          Google the translation.

Galileo? Because that’s a lyric from Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody.

I wouldn’t have guessed that, since the quote doesn’t have anything to do with anything Galileo is actually known for (Ben Franklin, I would have believed)… but a web search shows an absolute crapload of Galileo merch with that motto, so you win.

As always, the cope-and-seethe takes are hilarious. Deliberately demonstrating stupidity isn’t the W they think it is.

Pretty sure Jaiden will be accused of being a Russian Spy, attended the January 6th “protest” and indicted by the DOJ for some made up charge like thinking for himself.

I hate to think what the school has entered into his “permanent record”. I’m sure the school establishment will exact revenge, if not now, maybe high school. Leftists don’t lose gracefully.

I find the rainbow flag and blm flag to be “disruptive” to my attention and well being. I also find minorities and illegal aliens frightening, you must ban them.
So are they going to now ban them from school property?

This is the wedge. Just like the police arresting conservatives simply standing around a left-wing protest because their very presence is “causing disruption”. The Ctrl-Left has moved the Overton Window so far in their direction that being slightly to the right of Lenin drives leftists to paroxysms of violence, which justifies suppression on the grounds of “minimizing disruption”.

“These people also insist the Gadsden flag has “origins with slavery” since the designer had slaves.”

“These people” should then remove any reference to the Democratic Party and fire anyone who claims to be a Democrat.

“[d]isruptive to the classroom environment”

Which is more disruptive:

A) A kid wearing a pro-American independence patch on his backpack; or
B) Some pinhead school wannabe tyrant kicking him out of class and ignorantly claiming the patch was a pro-slavery symbol as justification.

Given the “mostly peaceful” armageddon that was inflicted in the comments on the school’s Facebook page by outraged conservatives, B FTW.
