Rep. Cammack Exposes Harsh Reality of Border Crisis to Sec. Becerra
“These are wristbands the cartels force people to wear when they cross the border. If you’re not wearing one when you cross, the cartels will take a limb.”
In a recent exchange, Representative Kat Cammack (R-FL) highlighted a sickening part of the border crisis in an Energy and Commerce Committee with Secretary Xavier Becerra:
Sec. Becerra: It looks like candies or snacks.
Rep. Cammack: These are wristbands the cartels force people to wear when they cross the border. If you’re not wearing one when you cross, the cartels will take a limb.

Rep. Cammack presented a jar filled with wristbands and asked Becerra what he thought was in it. He responded with, “It looks like candies or snacks.”
Rep. Cammack explained to Sec. Becerra that the jar has wristbands used by cartels to mark individuals attempting to cross the border. Those found without a wristband risk losing a limb, a brutal tactic used by the cartels to enforce their control.
This underscores the severity of the border crisis and the human rights abuses that are occurring as a result. It also highlights the need for more robust border security measures and immigration policies prioritizing the safety and well-being of individuals attempting to enter the country. The current administration must immediately curb cartels’ influence and ensure the safety of those seeking a better life in the United States.
Rep. Cammack ended her time with a comment to Sec. Becerra, “I think it’s disgusting that 85,000 children are missing on your watch.”

How much money are officials on our side of the border getting from the cartels for this? How much is Joe getting?
Not letting people just come in willy-nilly is evil and racist and unchristian right? But letting them come is really just helping the cartels rob and abuse the poorest people South of the border.
I think that them getting paid in money is hopeful. I bet some people in that room know where at least a few of those kids are.
There are tens of millions in Federal tax $ being channelled to networks of ‘non profit’ entities to facilitate this ‘migration’ to use the lefty term. Of course the Visigoths ‘migrated’ into the Roman Empire with the permission of Rome b/c they had ‘creditable fear’ in their own homeland from the Huns. I seem to recall this didn’t work out very well for the Romans.
Officials? How about those holier than thou NGOs like the Catholic Church who have an entire system in place to enrich and expand the gravy train ICE and its other swamp critters have created to allow the “underground trafficking railroad” to thrive?

When Dems say it’s all for the children, you will know better.
If they won’t tell you how then go ask around at Churches. Many mainline Protestant denominations and the Catholic Church are knee deep in supporting open borders. They have shelters, provide/arrange transportation from border to interior, assist them in filling for govt benefits, lobby for more immigration, help fight deportations. They have much to answer for, IMO.

This might explain the changes in DOJ guidance regarding child se trafficking, the current acceptance of it by the left, and the left’s condemnation of the movie “The Sound of Freedom.”
