I’m not saying you’re wrong, or that he wouldn’t deserve it, or that if it were me I wouldn’t be sorely tempted to leave him with fewer teeth. Just that in this instance the consequences of using violence probably outweigh the advantages. (Plus, the media will paint you as unhinged and violent by nature.)
I didn’t indicate in my comment, but I’d make sure I said the spoken line loud enough for cameras to catch. With a smile, and enough self-control to not resort to punching.
