Chad Pergram received some pretty damning information about Hunter Biden’s former associate Devon Archer’s testimony today. Pergram is one of the few I trust with sources.
The source said adding Hunter Biden to Burisma’s board was “the brand.” Without “the brand” then Burisma would have gone under.
Just wow.
Do you remember the name Elena Baturina? The name has come up before.
Oh, yeah.
Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY), the man who led the Democrats’ impeachment of Trump, emerged from the testimony in a desperate attempt to spin the testimony.
GOLDMAN: “And I want to be very clear about one thing: He did describe that there were approximately 20 occasions over the course of their nearly decade-long business relationship where, when one of them called the other, that Hunter Biden would ask his father to say hello to whomever he was at dinner. He said there were some times when it was friends and some times when it was potential business partners or business partners, but the witness was unequivocal and stated very clearly that they never discussed any business on that phone conversations. There were niceties and there was a hello, and they would talk about the weather or whatever it was, but it was never any business.”
Goldman actually said that Biden never said he never spoke to Hunter about his business dealings:
GOLDMAN: “He never said that he has never spoken to anyone. He said that he had nothing to do with Hunter Biden’s business dealings. If he says hello to someone that he sees his son with, has he supposed to say, ‘Hi, son. No, I’m not going to say hello to the other people at the table or the other people on the phone.’ It’s kind of a preposterous premise to think that a father should not say hello to people that the son at a dinner with — the son is at dinner with, and that is literally all the evidence is.”
