California School Board President Allegedly Getting Death Threats Over New Transgender Policy

We recently highlighted a story about a school system in Chino Valley, California, which has adopted a new policy that requires parents to be notified if their child starts identifying as a different gender.
The meeting where this was decided got a little heated, with one state official being removed from the proceedings.
Now the president of the school board is allegedly getting death threats. This is how important this issue is to the left.

The Chino Valley (California) Unified School District (CVUSD) Board of Education’s new parental notification policy on transgender students is getting backlash from some community members who have reportedly launched death threats against the board president.
The policy adopted with a 4-1 decision last week requires the “principal/designee, certified staff, and school counselors” to, within three days of becoming aware of the preference, notify parents of a student’s decision to identify with a gender that does not directly correspond with their biological sex, use different pronouns or a different name or use locker rooms and/or restrooms that do not correspond with their biological gender.
Days later, CVUSD President Sonja Shaw told “Washington Watch With Tony Perkins” that a death threat against her came through on an anonymous phone call the day after the decision.
“The next morning, our district got a phone call. A lot of things were said, but one thing was very clear — this person was going to kill me, and they said they were going to dismember my body parts, my limbs more specifically,” Shaw told the show on Monday…
“[Things like] ‘you’re going to die’ with other inappropriate words, ‘your children are going to die,’ and ‘your animals are going to die…'” Shaw continued, telling the show that those behind the threats noted the types of animals she has. Members of Antifa also “declare[d] war” on her, she said.

“Dear Parent,” begins the notice from the school district. “Student (insert name here) is transgender.”
With this new notification policy from the Chino Valley Unified School District, parents and the board of education there have succeeded in teaching their children a lesson — a lesson on how to vilify their peers, violate equal protection rights, ignore basic human autonomy and disrespect authority.
The school board’s recent decision to notify all parents of the presence of a transgender child is a grievous abuse of a school notification system that is intended to inform parents of pep rallies and school lunches. It is an unsurprising and uninspired tactic from a right-wing school board with numerous ties to Christian fundamentalism, inside a conservative county that attempted to secede from the state last year.
The left is making it clear that this is a hill they are willing to die on.
They just might in 2024.

A good place to give us all a reminder, everyone of us gets angry about this issue to, and we all know other people who get angry as well. If you notice someone in your life getting too angry about these issues make sure you use your influence to bring them back from the brink. Our side is just as capable of overly emotional reaction as the Democrats.

Any anger generated b/c anyone is hiding info from Parents about their child or attempts to convince the child to hide things from their Parents is justified.
In fairness to Danny I would have to say our side is pretty damn fired up about putting a halt to the trans ideology, ending the grooming of children and driving the proponents of this insanity out of our institutions at a minimum. I know I am anyway and I suspect most of us here at LI are as well.
There is absolutely no comparison. The Left is threatening violence. The Right is not.
Further, that seems to be the case with many issues. The Left threatens and/or commits violence, while the most the other side does is conduct “peaceful protests” that are, in fact, peaceful.

I fully agree, that is why I think it is essential that whenever we see people on our side getting to a critical angry point we both as friends, and comrades in a political cause have to step in and help lower the anger level for them.

Most death threats are just people getting overcome by their emotions, and your being resistant to the idea that you should when you see someone you like who is on our side getting angrier and angrier that you should step in…….
Remember when the “mostly peaceful” demonstrations happened after Addict George Floyd died? ANTIFA organized the protests so the majority of the protesters were close to the police lines blocking them from disrupting the rest of the protesters who were throwing bricks over the line of protesters and at the police. We should have been angry and visited these demonstrations to help the police by shooting the brick throwers in self defense.
I would rather actually persuade people but persuade people by remaining calm and being the kind of person moderates could talk to and a good example for others or spending the rest of your life in a cell….whatever floats your boat.

If any part of these threats are carried out against CVUSD President Shaw, y’all can bet that somehow the police will be unable [and unwilling] to catch the perpetrator. And if he/she/it is ever caught they will be either released on PR bond and disappear or will fail to get a conviction.
