Biden’s Bargain Basement Campaign 2.0: “The reality is that he doesn’t need to do *anything* but to nudge for a Trump nomination”

Joe “I am the Democratic Party” Biden’s 2020 campaign was less than inspiring. We all remember the four car “rallies” and the bizarre “social distance” circles for all nine attendees at in-person rallies. Of course that was 2020, he had the covid plandemic as an excuse to do little in terms of traditional campaigning.

Now that he appears even more infirm and in further mental decline, not to mention facing a host of very serious scandals related to the Biden family influence peddling and illegal drugs found in the White House, Biden is reportedly going to run another “basement” campaign for 2024, and he’s looking to save a buck by outsourcing the campaign’s work to the DNC, state parties, and other Democrat-affiliated organizations across the country.

The Washington Post piece included in the above tweet is a study in propaganda.

President Biden’s campaign manager, Julie Chavez Rodriguez, has spent her first months on the job planning a sweeping national reelection effort by squatting in a borrowed office overlooking an Amtrak commuter line on Capitol Hill. With just three other paid staffers, her entire operation cost $1.4 million from April through June — about an eighth of what President Barack Obama’s reelection campaign spent in the same period in 2011, when it operated out of an imposing office suite in Chicago nearly the size of a football field. Biden aides say that skeletal quality is not a weakness but the plan. . . . . It’s a stark break from the last Democratic presidential reelection campaign. Even when fully built, Biden’s operation will look little like Obama’s sprawling Chicago-based corporation, which included teams of software coders and data scientists, a high council of senior advisers, and hundreds of people who ran field organizing in battleground states.Instead, Biden is essentially outsourcing much of his campaign to the DNC and party organizations in the 50 states and D.C. With outside groups, Biden insiders believe the total effort could spend as much as $2 billion by November 2024.

Politico’s write-up is entitled “Joe Biden is redefining presidential campaign frugality.”

Biden’s campaign spent a total of $1.1 million in the second quarter of this year, a remarkably small amount that would put him behind several Democratic Senate candidates in terms of expenditures.Biden had four people on his payroll during that time: Campaign manager Julie Chávez Rodríguez, principal deputy campaign manager Quentin Fulks, spokesperson Kevin Munoz, and general counsel Maury Riggan. His campaign spent less than $1,500 on travel, accommodations and airfare. On rent, he spent nothing. He has not opened a campaign headquarters yet and much of his staff has been working out of the Democratic National Committee’s building.. . . . During a private call with donors on Friday about this quarter’s fundraising haul, Chávez Rodríguez, Biden’s campaign manager, reiterated the team’s view that their opponents are wasting cash while they stow theirs away. She said that “MAGA Republicans” trying to oust Biden are “burning through their resources in an extremely divisive primary.”. . . . “Part of our victory strategy is to run a one-team operation. Staff, resources, and financing from across the DNC and Biden-Harris 2024 are and will be dedicated to the reelection effort, from finance to communications to outreach and more,” said Munoz.“From a reporting perspective, it may look and feel different than prior campaigns, but by all our metrics of success this is a proven and winning model — already helping deliver election wins for Democrats in places from Wisconsin to Jacksonville.”

Team Biden would do well to keep him as hidden as possible because he is incapable of interacting with voters or even of making a coherent speech. But his “hidden” bargain basement campaign strategy is a definite risk without the cover of the covid measures that helped him hide in 2020.
