Biden Skips NATO Leader Dinner Due to Workload Despite Just Coming Off Beach Vacation

“This is not a ceremonial event. At the 2008 NATO Summit in Bucharest the dinner went 2 hours over schedule because President Bush forced an extended discussion on bringing Ukraine into NATO. Biden isn’t even attending. If you want proof he’s too old for the job this is it.”

The leader of the free world skipped the big NATO leader dinner due to an extensive work schedule and a big speech tomorrow.

Dude. I hate NATO but this is not cool and has not happened ever for the president of the United States to skip the big NATO leader dinner.

Unbelievable. The 80-year-old man needs his nap. Someone writes his speeches. Why does he need to prepare the speech? This is insane and an insult:

Asked why the president gave the meal a miss, a US official said that Biden “has four full days of official business and is preparing for a big speech tomorrow in addition to another day at the summit.”

Secretary of State Antony Blinken took Biden’s place at the dinner, which brings together heads of state and government from all 31 NATO member countries.

It was not immediately clear whether the American president was the only leader to miss the event, which was also attended by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Ah, Zelensky attended. Biden and his handlers probably wanted to avoid him since Biden is the most vocal about denying Ukraine NATO membership.

Basically confirming once again, despite the hot air and strongly worded letters, the West has never and will never care about Ukraine because they don’t want to upset Daddy Russia and China.

Plus, Biden literally just had a relaxing beach vacation.

Problem is, they need to reschedule dinners like this to be between 10 AM and Noon – after the drugs kick in, and before he sundowns.

The man only has about 2 lucid hours per day.

He’s not too old

He’s too crazy and sick with dementia

I have nurse friends , yes working with life and death decisions every day that were 80 and 82 and I’d let them be my nurse any day

I know nurses in their 20-30’s I wouldn’t let put a bandaid on me

    Lol

CommoChief in reply to gonzotx. | July 12, 2023 at 11:28 am

If, as you claim, 80 isn’t too old to hold a job do you support raising the retirement age for Social Security to 80? If not why not?

I see the boomers have arrived to down vote. As usual the boomers demand conformity if not quite obedience to their generational orthodoxy and don’t want to debate, they just want the other generations to obey. Maybe that’s why they keep clinging to political offices.

I bet he wouldn’t miss a dinner with President Xi.

Maybe he should’ve worked on his speech
instead of going to the beach.

I hope his big speech
is a big disaster.

They’ve pushed the envelope with Biden’s health putting a sick man—not to mention our country—in a vulnerable situation. He’s lasted longer than I thought he would, but I think he has finally reached his tipping point. This is not going to end well.

Ultimately, it is elder abuse. The man is sick and needs to be out of the hotseat.

Gosport in reply to Tel. | July 12, 2023 at 9:54 am

He should never have been allowed to run and everyone knows that. Which means he was allowed to run for a reason. Until that reason is no longer valid “they” will ensure he stays.

That being said, the real problem as always boils down to Joe. His ego and power hunger won’t allow him to say “No, the job is beyond me now” even when he knows he’s out of it and being used.

Old, not old: Biden has committed treason and he is completely compromised by foreign powers. His crimes are punishable by the federal death penalty.

If he was spry as a cricket, he’d still need to be removed from office.

Russian-infiltrated Ukrainian intel used FBI to censor social media:
House investigators allege “Put simply, the FBI worked with and on behalf of a foreign intelligence agency—widely known to be compromised by Moscow at the time—and directly abetted efforts to censor Americans engaging in protected speech,” they concluded.’

Yes, Biden has committed treason on multiple occasions. As many are telling, Biden is a clear and present danger to national security.

As to why he skipped the dinner, I can think of three reasons:
    1) His controversial cluster bomb approval
    2) Biden’s Administration knows its US Russian- Ukrainian proxy war is lost. They know it but Joe doesn’t.
    3) His handlers cannot risk putting Joe at a dinner table in an uncontrolled, free form situation. One can certainly imagine what stupid, foolish and classified things Joe would say or reveal that would diminish the credibility of the American government.

geronl in reply to Ghostrider. | July 12, 2023 at 9:37 am

It’s Putin’s war of conquest. He started it and he can end it.

CommoChief in reply to geronl. | July 12, 2023 at 10:55 am

Why do you support the neocon, globalist agenda?

Edward in reply to CommoChief. | July 12, 2023 at 12:21 pm

Perhaps because he is of the generations which believed that those who start wars of aggression need to be opposed and, in this particular instance and for a change, our troops aren’t doing the dying.

CommoChief in reply to CommoChief. | July 12, 2023 at 3:24 pm

Ok cool, it sounds like y’all might share that view though y’all may have a different definition of ‘aggressor’ than I do. Let’s see if you can demonstrate that you really care about opposing the ‘aggressor’ outside of the Ukraine/Russia conflict or were just trying to score a point but didn’t think you would get called out. No points yet first:

Name the ‘aggressor’ in each of the multiple conflicts around the world since the end of the Cold War.

Then define ‘aggressor’ and apply that definition to the military actions of the USA since the end of WWII.

Ironclaw in reply to Ghostrider. | July 12, 2023 at 11:46 am

      What credibility?

Edward in reply to Ghostrider. | July 12, 2023 at 12:30 pm

I vote for 3. The sending of 105mm and 155mm DPCM artillery projectiles is only controversial for effete EU politicians and some politically motivated people here. Those projos are the most effective we could supply for the situation in Ukraine. And besides, for those concerned with cost, instead of we taxpayers paying to demil those projos, we get to save that expenditure and instead send them to Ukraine where they can deliver them to the Russian Army in Ukraine.

If Quid Pro Joe believes the Ukrainians haven’t lost the war against Putin’s invasion, he has lots of company. There are many people who don’t buy the RT version of the war (whether because they actually believe Ukraine has already lost or it is politically expedient to take that position).

E Howard Hunt | July 11, 2023 at 11:34 pm

How do you expect the man to have all this energy after he lost his stash of blow at the Whitehouse?

Give him a break. His vacation at the beach WAS exhausting. Fox had a video of him feebly dragging his beach chair across the sand?

The Gentle Grizzly in reply to jb4. | July 12, 2023 at 7:46 am

He really is crumbling fast. And, I am only six years younger. -shudder-

I just do not see how he has any chance against anyone but Trump. If the Republicans regularly run ads about him and his denied granddaughter (not a “family man”) and how feeble he is (can’t complete another term, with Harris as backup), that will cost him more mail-in votes than they can print. Then there is the apparent influence peddling and money laundering enterprise. All before we get to his dreadful policies – open borders, inflation, etc.

Suburban Farm Guy | July 12, 2023 at 3:48 am

The dog ate his homework is how that excuse sounds. Equally credible

Maybe better to not show up than show up and make a fool of yourself.

Believe me, I want him to make a fool of himself.

For laughs (because that’s all we have right now) and in the context of the old SNL, I ask myself what “Frat Pack” comedian could best play Joe Biden.

Will Ferrell, Ron Burgundy, Anchorman

They should have sent Obama since everyone knows he’s the real President.

Rupert Smedley Hepplewhite | July 12, 2023 at 8:01 am

What if his handlers aren’t worried about the outcome of Biden’s actions but are using him to stop Trump’s presidency? By keeping this “tired, old man” in office, they run Newsom – the “younger version” of Biden – and lose nothing while gaining an additional eight years to complete America’s destruction.

Fat_Freddys_Cat | July 12, 2023 at 8:33 am

I think Biden would like to be thought of as another FDR but that comparison isn’t as flattering as some people think. I’m thinking in particular of the sick old FDR at the Yalta conference, where Stalin ran rings around him.

Not to mention extending the national malaise of the Great Depression years longer than it needed to have been while trying out all the Socialist efforts his “Brain Trust” could think of.

While I’m thinking of it, part of the reason Uncle Joe ran rings around Saint Franklin was a State Department and administration overrun with Soviet sympathizers and spies.

While using Ukraine, among other things, as a way to distract the gullible, useful idiots away frm his domestic actions.

Since the dinner is for NATO leaders, the pedophile in Chief has no place there

Ironclaw in reply to Ironclaw. | July 12, 2023 at 8:36 am

The vile, corrupt, ornery, avaricious, mendacious, lawless, ornery, obnoxious and dim-witted dotard-marionette is manifestly a scion of Satan, as are the vile members of his crime family.

So any crisis has to be handled in less than 4 days for Biden to be up to the task? Gee, I thought presidency was a 7day/24hr job…

Can you imagine how WWII would have gone if FDR (who had physical problems, but didn’t use it as a “crutch”) could only work a 4-day week?
