Professor Jacobson Discusses the Pushback Against Critical Race Theory

Professor Jacobson recently appeared on NTD News to talk about the pushback against Critical Race Theory in various, and mostly red, states. He suggests that a change in the executive branch is key in this battle.

From NTD News:

Successful Pushback on CRT Most Likely in Red, Purple States, Unless Change in Federal Government: Prof. William JacobsonCornell professor William Jacobson launched a website to expose critical race theory (CRT) at all levels of education across the United States. That includes universities, elite K-12 schools, and medical schools.“Whether it’s called critical race theory, or it’s called diversity, equity inclusion, or it’s called Ibram Kendiy’s anti-racism, or white fragility, whatever you want to call it in various forms, it’s just about everywhere,” he told NTD.Jacobson believes the ideology pits students against one another, against teachers and the country. He further noted the stark contrast between Florida and Texas making efforts to combat the ideology and California and New York doing the opposite.Jacobson claims that the greatest chance of pushing back on this theory is in red or purple states. “Blue states, I don’t see much chance for improvement unless there’s a change in the federal government,” he said.
