I bookmarked this tweet a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been meaning to post about it.
The tweet is by Joel Berry of The Babylon Bee. It struck me as summing up what I and a lot of other people have been feeling.
“There’s nothing to conserve anymore. It’s gone. The decay has done its work. It’s time to acknowledge that rebuild.”
No particular reason to run it now. None whatsoever.
I appeared on Thursday, April 13, 2023, on the Jesse Kelly show on The First TV:
“As disheartening as the overall picture of academia can be, there are great conservative students on Cornell’s campus and on almost every campus. And that’s what keeps me going, is that the conservative students on this campus are phenomenal, great people, very courageous, and the sharpest people, because they have to defend their views every single day. If you’re a liberal on this campus, you get patted on the back and everybody goes along with you. If you’re a conservative on Cornell’s campus, you’ve got to be prepared to justify your positions. So it’s at one level hopeless, at another level, the conservative students on campus keep me going.”
