Tucker Carlson blew up so many narratives tonight with the unaired footage of the so-called January 6th insurrection.
The biggest one is the left’s narrative that insurrectionists killed officer Brian Sicknick:
CARLSON: “A deadly insurrection. Everything about that phrase is a lie. Very little about jen reese sixth was organized or violent. Surveillance video from inside the Capitol shows mostly peaceful chaos. But the slogan worked. The term deadly carries enormous emotional power, which is why they used it. To prove the insurrection was deadly, propagandists pointed to the death of an officer called Brian sicknick. The mob killed Brian sicknick. That’s what they said. He was the single most powerful indictment of the January 6th protesters and of Donald Trump and of Republican voters nationally. They repeated that claim for years. They are still repeating it. At first they told the country that officer sicknick was murdered with a fire extinguisher.”

And who is it really all about, and by extension?
The REAL Jan 6 happened in 2017!
So what else is new? Our government was lying to us. Add that to the long list of lies we’ve been told.
So what else is new? Our government was lying to us.
——————-
Change out government with democrats. Although at times it is hard to differentiate with the swamp seemingly never dying out.
” Add that to the long list of lies we’ve been told.”
“Your boys are not going to be sent into any foreign wars!”

October, 1940, as the chief NWO cheer leader planned just the opposite with the aim to create the United Nations (which at that very moment was already drafted) because the first attempt at world government (the League of Nations) was not ratified by the Senate. And if it took another war to get that, by golly that’s what the elite would do.
Or try this one,
In November of 1916, President Woodrow Wilson won a close re-election under the slogan “He Kept Us Out of War.”
He too lusted for the NWO and planned already drafted the blueprint for the League of Nations.
Re Wilson: He convinced blacks to vote for him, and when elected segregated the civil service and the military. He was as liberal as Southern slave owners who wanted the liberty to deprive othere of their liberty.
Good people are serving Hard Time, their lives ruined, to serve the J6 Lie.
And Tucker showed footage of the Shaman guy being escorted all over the building by police.
I wonder if his defense team or even the judge knew the government had video of police escorting this guy and opening doors for him?
People on twitter have mentioned that withholding exculpatory evidence is a big no no.
You can only use the evidence a judge allows into a proceeding. If you have followed any of Julie Kelly’s reporting those judges presiding over these cases are not allowing in the evidence that may benefit the defendants.
Sounds like a Brady violation to me.
And since all the so-called trials so far have been held in DC, Congress can remove the corrupt judges and DAs. They won’t, but they should.
People on twitter have mentioned that withholding exculpatory evidence is a big no no.
That’s correct only if the occasion is a trial at law. The J6 Committee ‘investigation’ was filmed to give that impression, but it was more like a lynch mob in action – the ‘defendants’ got no defense, gave no testimony, and were ‘convicted’ by this cynically one-sided mob of political exhibitionists, solely with the aim of influencing public opinion.
Well when you are part of the plan, working for the government, they are not going to show everything. This guy as a paid actor. Just like I think Babbitt, I think it is a setup. There is just too many questions about her killing.
Now I know why Brandon was coming out big against lynching recently, for no apparent reason.
He knew the reckoning was on the way.
I just can’t get my hopes up
The Republicans are weak and bought
Only 6 were brave enough to hold out on McCarthy for God’s sake
I don’t see a thing happening but a very loud and public scolding by Jim Jordan.
Oh he’s good at that!
While McCarthy is the epitome of the DC insider establishment it is also true that
1. He did hand over the J6 footage to Carlson
2. Trump pushed for him to be chosen as Speaker of the House. Giving a public endorsement and apparently working the phones with individual members to secure the Speaker’s office for him.
Maybe we should cut McCarthy some slack and see what he does as Speaker?
About time you came around. McCarthy was first elected in the “young turks” wave who were treated like pariahs. He certainly strayed from those principles in order to survive but was captured by the new wave of newly-elected Trump House members when they forced him to go on record regarding his agenda in getting elected Speaker.
He has now aligned himself with the future battle which was the original battle he signed on to when he was first elected. And Trump will have very long coattails in 2024 so there is ample reason to have faith that he is on our side. We have the wind at our backs.
It’s all coming together now. If only DeSantis could see his way to getting on board, we would be witnessing the breakout of the greatest comeback from certain doom in history.
I’m always willing to evaluate how people perform v the ‘official perception’. Politicians who deliver what they promise to do have great appeal to many. Those who don’t do so, those who make excuses, those who refuse to utilize every power of their office to get their central campaign promise across the finish line ….those I view differently. Though there is always room for redemption and reformation so long as it is genuine and consistent w/o any backsliding.
And what will happen to any of the liars? To Kinzinger and Cheney and every democrat on the farcical “Committee”? Bupkus.
Nothing
Well they got good jobs. CNN and UVA?
I think lawyers refer to this as “a private cause of action”…?
What? The pedophile-in-chief and all of his communist lied? Say it ain’t so…
Dead Man Walking….
RIP sir
So we are finally seeing the truth about Trump’s “baggage”. Did anyone else notice that Carlson referred to the Uniparty as responsible for this hoax? This is who we should be fighting. It’s not just Democrats and it certainly not Trump. A lot of “conservatives” need to take a breather and rethink what they have been saying. These tapes are going to propel Trump’s campaign from the start.
Phil,
J6 media narrative was always full of crap. The things released yesterday didn’t break new ground so much as reinforce via images what was already known to those paying attention. For some who don’t pay attention as much as others the images released last night will be an eye opener.
Uniparty/Establishment is definitely an opponent, just as much or more than the progressive woke totalitarian. They and their media allies pushed this false narrative to cast everyone opposed to their vision as enemies of the State. Sen Graham calling for the Capital Police to open fire on protesters is but one example of how they work together to undermine anything and anyone who opposes them. The old guard GoP folks, chamber of commerce types are not on board with the policy preferences of the populist right. They are stuck in 1995 in how they see the world and the world is far different.
The baggage argument is, IMO, unfair to Trump. J6 was one element of the baggage argument. Though the J6 narrative was after the 2020 election where previous ‘baggage’ (really a coordinated media narrative developed by d/prog) were employed to soften support for Trump. He can cut through most of the baggage argument by continuing to focus on 2024, releasing his very compelling policy ideas. That will rehabilitate his image for those who got snookered by the anti Trump media campaign that was relentless in attempting to undermine him. Most people believe in redemption so as long he can note what his detractors use to hammer him and modify his approach a bit to blunt that he can, IMO, coast to victory in the primary and general.
Here’s another scandal waiting to be invested, the attempted bribery of Keri Lake to drop out of politics:
https://rumble.com/v2c0fmo-kari-lake-powerful-people-tried-to-bribe-her-to-leave-politics-heres-what-h.html
Believe me, Trump is the guy the NeverTrumper/Uniparty Mafia is deathly afraid of and Keri Lake is a major player now being targeted for “elimination”. Let’s see if this makes DeSantis supporters think. Has the same offer been made to him? If he is the real deal, he will pull the plug on this GOPe charade and put them out of business for good by endorsing Trump.
Nice try. That boils down to ‘the other guy is a phoney if he decides to run in competition with my guy’. That’s not a persuasive argument. Self serving maybe but not persuasive.
The GoP is gonna hold a primary for President and you need to come to terms with fact. Trump has the inside lane for the nomination. If he sticks to the issues of 2024 and slightly modifies his approach from prior runs he can absolutely win both the nomination and the general election.
FWIW I find Trump’s style amusing and a bit of fresh air in the stale world of conventional politics. Some though do tend to clutch their pearls at his antics. We do need to get some of those folks comfortable enough with him stylistically to vote for him. In the end numbers count and he needs to continue to ease up on the name calling.
In the past couple weeks he has really helped himself with that audience. Unfortunately that audience is unlikely to be forgiving if he backslides and reverts to name calling. Personally I like it but then I also like old school wresting promos which is kinda how Trump comes across sometimes. To me it’s entertaining but to others it is off putting and ultimately we can’t afford to intentionally offend folks who’s vote we need to win.
I am completely comfortable with the GOP holding a primary. The question is whether you DeSantis fanboys can handle what that entails. Why are you so condescending to voters other than you who may be too sensitive to accept Trump’s “style”? Mean tweets? You make no effort to come to grips with how the different camps are defined. You are still seeing this as infighting within the GOP. How many times to I have to explain that Trump’s base is broader because he has connected with the majority of voters who are fed up with the Uniparty. Uniparty. Not GOP. Uniparty.
Your little GOP-only NeverTrumpers are shrinking while Trump’s movement keeps growing. Echoing the arguments of Karl Rove, Paul Ryan, Jeb and the Uniparty establishment does not help you make your case. This is a major fight, not an argument at the bar on the 19th hole. You decide to go after Trump, let’s see if you are can handle what that means. You are already defending the Rove camp and it hasn’t even started. Bring it on!
Phil,
Firstly I don’t have a preferred candidate among those declared or undeclared. So while I do like what DeSantis is doing in FL I haven’t made any decision about whom to support in the primary.
Secondly, I just got through posting about well Trump is doing in past few weeks. I voted for the guy twice in the general and in both the last two GoP primaries FWIW. I will absolutely vote for him again in the ’24 general if he is the nominee.
Thirdly I have consistently called out the Never Trumpers as weirdos who are unhelpful and misguided at best and deliberate saboteurs who are closet d/prog at worst.
In contrast you frame everyone who isn’t. 100% ready to anoint Trump as the nominee as a member of Never Trump and/or some sort of shill for or dupe of the establishment.
That constant drumbeat is not only wrong but I fear damaging to Trump. People don’t like being mischaracterized and some of them view your antics as mean spirited and made in bad faith.
Personally I could care less when some some internet random chooses to deliberately lie about me but others, those pearl clutching types we Do Need to vote GoP, may not be as forgiving.
That is the problem with what you do, ultimately you are negatively impacting Trump’s ability to regain some of those peal clutching types which only hurts our cause; defeating d/prog. I begin to wonder why you would continue actions you must know are harmful to attracting voters we need.
NeverTrumpers are also anti-DeSantis–they apparently can’t figure out even amongst themselves who would be worse for their dream of resurrecting the neocon “compassionate conservative” Bush branch of the GOP. They want to jump in a time machine and travel back to the Bush-Cheney big spending, big government, big war GOP past, and the base moved on long before Trump. Bush left office with about 25% approval, that does not happen if the base is behind him. The Tea Party was, in no small part and as I have long-argued, a reaction to the excesses and progressiveness of the people who are now–and have been since 2015–NeverTrumpers. The ones who, as you note and is revealed in their writing and work for Democrats (also at the above link), would rather see Biden in office than either Trump OR DeSantis. They want to go back in time, but that just isn’t happening.
The final GOPe gasp:
https://www.breitbart.com/clips/2023/03/06/karl-rove-to-trump-move-on-you-didnt-win-the-election/
Karl Rove, Paul Ryan, Jeb, “W”, the old gang has now stepped out in front to lead the fight themselves against their pending extinction. THAT us what makes this so satisfying, Even Tucker opened his first Jan 6 episode referring to the 2020 sham of an election. The tide has turned! The “anti-Trump” cloak and “Trump without the baggage” arguments are dead. Come on DeSantis, do the right thing.
When you keep treating people as the Enemy, eventually they will become the Enemy. I hope all the J6 Select Committee all have children like Hunter Biden.
I’m just sorry for the kids they already have. No child deserves parents like that.
At this point I think it is fair to ask what has this administration said that is truthful? Virtually everything said about Jan. 6 was a lie, virtually everything said about COVID was a lie, virtually everything said about global warming is a lie, virtually everything said about Ukraine is a lie, virtually everything said about Biden’s mental acuity is a lie, virtually everything said about the economy is a lie…. Are you seeing a trend here?
Since it’s been known for a long time, he died of a heart issue why do we need to see this now? It’s not like the Kool-Aid crowd will change its mind.
Because it exposes how deep the lie is. It is the tip of the iceberg. They plan they planned this just like covid to keep Trump out. What do you think they are going to do for 2024.
The hard core d/prog true believers won’t change their minds. The more open minded middle of the road voters though can be persuaded with direct evidence.
Keep in mind the context. It isn’t just J6 ‘official narrative’ under scrutiny today. The whole of the Covid response and its many untruths are becoming public as well. Musk buying Twitter and working to open up the prior management history of bad faith conduct and direct collision with govt to censor. The debacle of schools and trans agenda.
There are a lot of issues unraveling before the eyes of less informed people that had swallowed the official narrative but now have reasons to question what else they were told that may not be true.
Yes, we know he died of a heart attack, or stroke, I don’t remember which. But the fact of the matter, even when the truth was told, Biden and the Democrats kept saying the lie, and accusing. the Trump supporters of being insurrectionist. They’ll repeat their lies over and over, and there are some stupid enough to keep believing the lies.
The left always needs their Horst Wessel.
We all suspected that when these tapes were released that the narrative behind the Kangaroo Court and the show trial that cost so much money would collapse like a house of cards. Now, let’s see how and in what way the FBI was involved as well.
The Left’s response will probably be that the QAnon Shaman put a spell on Sicknick.
“jen reese sixth?”
Voice recognition transcript?
Yup, obviously. Tucker’s show doesn’t provide serious captioning. Even the stuff it does provide runs so far behind him that it has to leave out whole swaths of this speech.
At last, it’s the “Ghost of Kyiv”
Leftist media outlets already acknowledged, many months ago, that officer Sicknick was not killed by Jan 6th rioters. Sure, they acknowledged it at 1% of the volume as the original false claim, but they did acknowledge it. It’s not breaking news.
You know what issue NO media outlet has investigated, left or right? The “epidemic” of “depression suicides” among J6 officers in the two weeks following the event. Terminal shame? Arkancide? Seppuku?
Another case of plausible not probable a la George “fentanyl” Floyd ruling… overruling, with a mallet-wielding Pelosi presiding. A probable Whitmer-event.
Pandora’s box has been opened. Let the corruption be exposed to the light of day. Heads should roll, but they probably won’t. It also appears that judges that allowed the withholding of evidence, that would have assisted the defense of the accused, need to be thrown on the trash heap of history. Color me furious and pissed off.
Not that Trump’s prospects of getting nominated are the primary topic here… but to get a lot of voters back, Trump needs to apologize for letting Fauci and Birx control the response to a certain virus. And for pushing Operation Warp Speed, which Fauci already knew would be a limited success at best. Will he admit error on this scale?
I don’t blame Trump at all for pushing Operation Warp Speed. The vast majority of Americans WANTED a vaccine, and they wanted it FAST. Trump had no way of knowing that big pharma was planning to deliver him trainloads of ersatz hemotoxin stamped “VACCINE.”
