Gun Control Lobbyist Hijacks Nashville Shooting Briefing, Rants About ‘Assault Weapons’
She also spewed out a bunch of assumptions on national TV.
A 28-year-old female killed three children and three adults at the Covenant School in Nashville, TN.
A gun control enthusiast decided the press briefing was the perfect time to rant about assault weapons and yell a bunch of assumptions:
The woman walked up to the microphones and asked the journalists if they were tired of reporting on school shootings. She revealed she is currently on family vacation with her child but she came down to the scene when the news broke.
“I have been lobbying in D.C. since we survived a mass shooting in July. I have met with over 130 lawmakers. How is this still happening? How are our children still dying and why are we failing them? Gun violence is the number one killer of children and teens. It has overtaken cars,” the woman said.
“Assault weapons are contributing to the border crisis and fentanyl, we are arming cartels with our guns and our loose gun laws and these shootings and these mass shootings will continue to happen until our lawmakers step up and pass gun safety legislation,” she continued, going on to speculate that, “I’m pretty sure this was an unsecured weapon this teenager got ahold of. We can’t even – safe storage kids from getting ahold of weapons that they shoot each other with.”
Yes, totally normal to go to the scene of any shooting.
The mass shooting she mentioned was the Highland Park, ILL, parade.

At least 12 people were shot, two fatally, in gun violence over the weekend across Chicago – and it’s a safe bet that almost every single one of the guns used were illegal – just like in the rest of the 115 shootings there so far this month and 398 so far this year. One person is shot there every 4 hours. One murdered by gun there every 17 hours.
So why aren’t they given the same breathless press anti-violence coverage as this shooting?
– Because of the unhandy fact that the guns used in Chicago were already illegal.
– The vast majority of those shootings were via handguns, not long guns (‘assault rifles’ or not) and of course handguns aren’t the flavor of the week, possibly because of owner demograpics
– This shooting involved kids, a school, and multiple casualties, which is raw meat for the leftist propagandists. The only drawback for them is that the shooter turned out to be a tranny with a manifesto, but the snowball was already rolling down the hill when that fact became known.
– Because a review of the numbers indicates not a gun problem, but a people problem, with the racial breakdown of the shooters/victims in Chicago this year being:

20.2% Hispanic

Chicago media merely states 10 shot, 2 killed over the weekend, now on to the weather……… I follow the same website. It’s an eye opener. Most of these killings are gang bangers taking each other out and typically by the same race. Because they don’t recognize that there are “good guys” and “bad guys”. All people are equally likely to commit all kinds of crimes. Crime is caused by poverty or circumstance, or by systemic oppression, not by bad character. So any gun is equally likely to be used in crime, regardless of who owns it.
Also, all lives matter equally, so there is no difference between a murder and a justified homicide in self defense; either way someone is dead, so they’re exactly the same.

Progressivism denies human nature and thinks that a law or regulation automatically has a large effect. The mere fact of writing down the rule means vast numbers of people suddenly become saints in that arena. Of course, they also are willing to use force against people, if necessary, to progress toward their utopia. But there’s this bizarre notion (flowing from their worship of human reason, I suppose) that the mere thought, or intention, being written down manifests in changed reality – and that leads us right back to the “trans” delusion….
A sane and healthy nation might take this as a wake up call that mentally confused people who believe they are the opposite of their true biological sex need mental help more than artificial “rights” which require everyone else to participate in their delusion.
