Elon Musk: “I’m not part of MAGA, but I do believe in fairness of justice.”

“Chansley got 4 years in prison for a non-violent, police-escorted tour!?

Twitter CEO Elon Musk joined in on the frustration of many after viewing some of the J6 videos. He tweeted out Free Jacob Chansley Friday evening.

He then responded to a tweet stating he’s “part of the MAGA movement” by saying he believes in the fairness of justice. It seems reasonable—at least for those of us that are sane.

The videos are painting a different picture of Chansley’s actions that day at the Capitol. Chansley did plead guilty in November of 2021 and was sentenced to 41 months in jail for one felony count of obstruction of an official proceeding.

Tucker Carlson had Martha Chansley and her attorney on ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’ to talk about the videos.

MAGA, like the Tea Party, somehow got a bad name from the left that stuck. Both were just crowds who left gatherings cleaner than they were when they came.

Tea Party accumulated a lot of “baggage”. But we are still around.

They’re pretty much the same people. It’s not like everyone in the Tea Party fell off the face of the earth; we’re still here. And a great many are now MAGA. After all, the Tea Party was all about making America great again. Where do you think Trump got the idea for his slogan? He saw what we saw and it sickened him that America was not just in decline but in “managed decline.” It sickens us all (or should).

Is that a bad thing that Trump is the only guy who “got it”? He didn’t steal the idea. He coined a term that captured the spirit, ran on it and made it happen. And he will do it again.

You should get a copy of John Wayne’s “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance” where Wayne plays a Trump-type imperfect man who rids the town controlled by Valance (Lee (Marvin) and his gang outlaws and where no one has the courage to run him out of town. So Wayne’s character does it for them by orchestrating a gun duel between the sheriff (James Stewart) and the credit ends up going to the sheriff.

There is a scene at the end when some Milhouse character pipes up to protest that Wayne murdered Valance answered by a town elder with the signature quote of the movie: “He may not be the hero we were looking for but he was the hero we NEEDED!”

Trump is the hero WE need and most Americans have come around to see that.

Yes, it’s a bad thing that Trump was the only guy who “got it.”

The notion of an outsider or stranger cleaning up a town has a long history.

A mysterious stranger slowly rides into the desolate lakeside mining town of Lago, where the residents stare at him like he’s some kind of alien. We get the feeling right away that his presence is not welcome.

The Stranger is offered a job to help protect Lago by the sheriff, but is reluctant to sign on. That is until he’s given free reign to do or have anything what he wants.

He literally paints the town red, rapes a woman, appoints a hated townsman sheriff and other misdeads.

Stranger saves the town from ruin.

The townspeople can’t wait to get ride of him. Stranger just doesn’t properly fit as Mayor or Lawspeaker. Trump is Stranger. Trump likes buying whores – at least he pays for it – unlike Bill Clinton raping unsuspecting women.

Tiki in reply to Tiki. | March 11, 2023 at 7:06 pm

@ Dr. Dave – I usually read VDH’s stuff – he compared Trump to the Stranger? or something like that?

Gonzotx – “your certifiable.” Better than being a puritanical zealot.

Have you figured out Stranger Trump hired Stormy Daniels for sex? That Stormy is a used-up chintzy whore? That Stranger Trump tried to clean up the Town, but in this story he was defeated by the Villains? You’ve figured that out, yes? Doesn’t matter if the election was stolen, the Villains won.

Half of the townspeople hated Stranger Trump, just like the film. You do realize Clint Eastwood played the Stranger? That the Stranger is part of a multi-film saga? Ending with the Unforgiven?

          Trump is living the Saga.

Why is this getting down clicks?

maxmillion in reply to Tiki. | March 12, 2023 at 12:05 am

Are you on meds for that? If not, get help. If so, you missed today’s dose

Your version of the movie is somewhat off, but there’s no doubt that Trump, almost singlehandedly, took on the system and status quo. More like “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington,” with a potty mouth.

Not by much. I left out the part where the mayor bitch slaps Milhouse for being a weanie. I may be a little off on that detail.

Actually, Stewart is a lawyer. A peacenik. He speaks up against Valance at a town meeting selecting delegates to the state convention. Valance challenges Stewart. Wayne tries to help Stewart learn to shoot, but it’s hopeless. When Valance and Stewart face off, Wayne kills Valance from a hidden spot, and everyong thinks Stewart killed him. He becomes a hero, of course, and even becomes a senator. He also gets Wayne’s girl. That’s when Wayne burns down the dream house. The secret stays for many years until a newsman gets the story, when Steward and the girl returns for Wayne’s funeral. It’s then that they decide not to ruin the narrative, and the quote you gave or something to that effect is said. It’s a great movie.

Still think Trump is Mr. Smith with a brusque nature.

One other thing about the movie. Wayne was the strong, silent type. The Marlboro Man type. Trump would have boasted immediately that he killed Valance, not let Stewart have the credit. But at least he would have killed Valance. Stewart was not capable of that.

“Trump is the hero WE need and most Americans have come around to see that….”

The problem is that whoever is “counting” the votes doesnt.

It is coming on a week since the first video release by Carlson. Why am I getting the feeling that there won’t be any more? All of a sudden, things are too quiet. Time for another truth bomb.

If Carlson is not going to release the videos, give them to someone who will. Maybe someone who doesn’t work for Rupert Murdoch. May I suggest Dinesh D’Souza?

CommoChief in reply to Pasadena Phil. | March 11, 2023 at 3:18 pm

McCarthy already said this week he will get it out more broadly,.perhaps even direct to the public.

IMO, what Tucker did is choose three clear examples among the ‘narrative’ to debunk. Then use those to develop the counter narrative that the J6 media/official narrative is bunk.
    1. Sidnick was not beaten to death on J6.
    2. Howley wasn’t running away as coward or in isolation.
    3. The q shaman wasn’t an overly violent dude on a rampage leading the mob like the pied piper.

He accomplished that. Then he hit other broader aspects. 1. Lack of disclosure of the potential exculpatory video to the defense
    2. Seemingly unjust length of sentencing
    3. Selective editing by J6 d/prog Committee, including additional of fake crowd noise
    4. legacy media becoming the willing stenographers of the regime narrative

Others in alt media are amplifying these and other points. The clamor of the public for wider release including a suddenly interested legacy media will likely ensure that McCarthy gets the video out.

I am not criticizing Carlson… yet. I don’t believe it would have been a good idea to dump these videos every night. We need time for people to digest what is in it and many people didn’t see the video until after the Fox broadcast once the public reaction got their attention and made them curious. So the first video was a major success in putting the Deep State in a state of sheer panic.

I saw a poll this morning showing that 80% of Americans want to see all of the footage. That is a major accomplishment in itself. Waiting a week allowed more people to be up-to=date on the facts before seeing the next installment. Stopping now would signal that Carlson was shut down by Rupert Murdoch and Paul Ryan. If that were to happen, the ball would be back in McCarthy court with a lot of very angry voters more convinced that ever that their government has become a dictatorship.

Here’s Julie Kelly with Charlie Kirk Show calling for ALL of the tapes to be released.

      https://rumble.com/v2cjo8e-jan-6-expert-julie-kelly-on-the-new-tapes-its-crushing-the-media-narrative.html

She also released a summary on American Daily this morning listing “everything you need to need” about the first Jan 6 installment. It’s time to move forward.

      You were too early.

Paul in reply to gonzotx. | March 11, 2023 at 4:38 pm

I don’t understand why you keep saying that. Tucker literally talked about the J6 BS for more than THREE HOURS this past week. He is hammering the dogsh*t out of their corrupt narrative. What more do you suppose he should do?

Tiki in reply to Paul. | March 11, 2023 at 7:23 pm

Because Puritan. Zealots make no subtle distinctions. Zealot Muslim men prove their super-devotion by beating their heads on the prayer rug so hard they get a permanent lump on their forehead.

How does one prove their super-devotion to Trump? Must I beat my head on the Trump Tower Rug for that Proof?

Tucker is Big Damn Hero, that’s what he is.

Paul in reply to Tiki. | March 11, 2023 at 7:59 pm

I don’t care that President Trump paid for sex, now that he paid someone not shall we say a real”professional “

I don’t care , we all have weird sexual traits if we are all honest to other people.

I’ve always had a problem with prostitution because I don’t see it as a “crime”, I see that we have made the oldest profession a crime and caused these sex workers to his in dirty alleys or have abusive pimps for bosses.

People have needs that their loved ones sometimes can’t, or won’t meet.

Sometimes there is no loved one

And unfortunately men who can not find sex, they become very hostile individuals, probably women too, but let’s get real, men have sex drives like Mercedes and women, well, maybe a Volvo…

Did I want my daughter to decide that was a profession she wanted… no.. glad she didn’t, it’s a sad profession to use your body like that, the diseases, possible abuse amd killings

That’s the shady side, and puts me in a quandary, not for me but for thee…

Maybe if we treated differently, these sex workers would have better lives…

gonzotx in reply to gonzotx. | March 11, 2023 at 9:34 pm

Lol they can’t help themselves, they see my name and vote down, must be over the mark I say cause this is real nutcrackey

Yeah, no time for self-reflection. You are RIGHT. Trump is THE ONE. And anyone who downvotes you is the devil for rejecting your godlet. Serious eyeroll.

I have no way to confirm this, but it seems to me–based on observation–that your downvotes increase with every whinge and whine about them. Weird, right? Maybe playing victim isn’t a good move here?

Chucky the Clown put the screws to Murdoch and Murdoch read Tucker the riot act. Big time censorship. I’m really pissed.

Oh, the equivocations, the hand wringing, the social distancing.

Sane and not stupid.

Don’t have to agree on everything to move society forward. You really just need common ground and a cease fire to all of the mamufactured antagonism.

That guy got a $3000 fine & no prison time.”

But Dave Chapelle wasn’t Chuck Schumer or Nancy Pelosi.
“And that has made all the difference.”

Subotai Bahadur | March 11, 2023 at 4:10 pm

I hope he realizes that if he “believes in the fairness of justice” that makes him an “Enemy of the State” to the Leftists governing us.

Subotai Bahadur

There is a famous story about Alexander the Great was challenged with trying to figure out how the Gordion know was tied. Rather than waste his time like everyone before him studying it, he pulled out his sword and sliced it open. “That’s how it was tied.”.

That is what Musk did by buying Twitter at great person loss (so far) and handing over files to the liberal Matt Taibi.

It’s also what Trump did by sweeping into the White House by winning a rigged election and catching everyone, including a shocked and disappointed GOP, by surprise. He sliced open a well-tuned Deep State Uniparty and laid it out for everyone to see.

And still, there are far too many people who simply refuse to appreciate the enormity of that feat alone. Add his countless major accomplishes that no one want to give credit for we really have to ask “What the hell do you want anyway?”. Nope, we need another Jeb Bush. Someone polished, glib and well-rehearsed instead of someone who speaks like us in an honest manner and talks directly to us.

No one but me seems to notice that there are now more liberal Truth Tellers fighting at the front line for our constitutional rights than Republicans or “conservatives” (whatever that is).

“No one but me seems to notice that there are now more liberal Truth Tellers fighting at the front line for our constitutional rights than Republicans or “conservatives” (whatever that is).”

And I thought I was the only one who noticed. It’s completely bizarre. It’s also disgusting.

Yes it is. We are the only ones allowed to tell the truth. Too many of us are too afraid even if we know what the truth is. There is only one truth. That is something we should be united upon.

CommoChief in reply to Subotai Bahadur. | March 11, 2023 at 7:08 pm

With the SEC up his ass over his purchase of Twitter and FTC up his ass b/c well they can’t/won’t explain precisely. With his release of the previous Twitter management’s dirty laundry and the public revelation of how much patty cake Twitter was playing with govt entities to censor, silence and suppress dissenting voices …..I’m sure Musk realises how PO he has made some very powerful folks. He knew that going in to the purchase and did it anyway.

“I’m not part of MAGA, but I do believe in fairness of justice.”

But when it’s almost impossible to find anyone who believes in fair justice outside of MAGA, then… welcome to the club, brother.

Neither Musk nor Trump need their problems entangled together. The distancing works and is smart. We all know what is going on with the Deep State.

henrybowman in reply to Pasadena Phil. | March 11, 2023 at 9:48 pm

Well, I insist on viewing MAGA as something bigger than Trump. Otherwise, if they neuter Trump, MAGA is gone, and I don’t believe that.

gonzotx in reply to henrybowman. | March 12, 2023 at 12:17 am

MAGA is the Tea Party with a real leader

The Tea Party fizzled because there was no leadership figure

Without Trump there is no MAGA party, no leadership, just failure

        If we get him
Back in the WH , big if, he will anoint his successor, probably Kari

Only a big if because they would rather kill him then let him win

gonzo, you write: “he will anoint his successor, probably Kari”

And this anointment is okay with you, an American?

So bizarre that I literally have no words. You really think a Trump-“anointed” Kari Lake won’t be a freaking nutjob who can’t win a single vote beyond the Trump Only base? You seem so lost and confused. Please stop reading crap sites.

This is where you Trump Only people lose potential votes. I don’t believe for one second that our Constitutional Republic cannot survive without any one person. And I can not even begin to wrap my mind around anyone who believes that ONLY ONE person, Trump (or his “anointed” successor–do you hear yourself?) can save America. Frankly, if it’s down to one person, Trump or anyone else, it’s probably not worth saving at all. Thankfully, our Founders were far more intelligent than you and our Republic far more resilient than you are capable of understanding.

TheOldZombie | March 11, 2023 at 6:11 pm

July 9, 2023 is his release date according to Wiki.

I want to know if the judge saw the footage before the guilty plea. Or if Chansley and his lawyers saw the footage.

The prosecutors of Chansley should be sentenced to the same 41 months he got.

We need a system that discourages corrupt prosecution, rather than one that encourages it.

Oh, and that judge should be impeached as well.

Dr.Dave

VDH does not like Trump he’s come out as a “desantis disciple “

CommoChief in reply to gonzotx. | March 12, 2023 at 9:18 am

    There is a difference between
    1. Trump the individual
    2. Trump the persona

Lots of folks respect Trump the individual but don’t like some aspects of Trump the persona.

The other thing to keep in mind is many folks choose the candidate in the primary they believe has the best chance of winning the general election. That’s not always the the candidate whose policies they like best.

Casting anyone who doesn’t immediately jump on the Trump train as a never Trump or a squish rino isn’t accurate. It’s also damaging to the ability of Trump to gain those people’s support in the primary.

There a plenty of things to like about Trump. There are also some things not to like. Pretending otherwise isn’t helpful. It undermines the argument to support Trump b/c it comes across as untrustworthy and creates more doubt about the supporters who keep banging the drum.

The primary will serve its purpose in using competition to strengthen the eventual nominee by forcing them to focus on what the voters care about in 2024 and sharpen their messaging and campaign rhetoric to reflect that. Trump has laid out some very good policy proposals and gained lots of goodwill for his visit to E Palestine. He has the inside track to the nomination IMO.
