Biden Travels to Kyiv in Unannounced Visit to Show Support for Ukraine

That’s nice. What about the people in East Palestine, OH?

President Joe Biden took a 10-hour train ride from Poland to Kyiv, Ukraine, to visit President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to show support for the embattled country.

February 24 is the first anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

And yet…it took FEMA two weeks to send help to East Palestine, OH, and Biden hasn’t said much about the chemical disaster decimating the town.

From The New York Times:

“One year later, Kyiv stands,” Mr. Biden declared at Mr. Zelensky’s side in Mariinsky Palace, the gilded ceremonial home of the Ukrainian president. “And Ukraine stands. Democracy stands.”

“Thank you so much for coming, Mr. President, at a huge moment for Ukraine,” Mr. Zelensky said.

Mr. Biden promised to release another $500 million in military aid in coming days, mentioning artillery ammunition, Javelin missiles and Howitzers, but he did not talk about the advanced arms that Ukraine has sought. Mr. Zelensky told reporters that he and the president spoke about “long range weapons and the weapons that may still be supplied to Ukraine even though it wasn’t supplied before.”

But I’m not the only one disgusted by Biden’s lack of attention to Ohio. The thing is, Ukraine has been special to me since 2014. I hope the Ukrainian people know they’re being used as pawns by Russia and the West. It’s infuriating.

USA should never had given any our $$$$ to the corrupt Ukraine.

Washington warned us to avoid foreign entanglements.

Eisenhower warned us against the military industrial complex.

Mr. 10% is exhausting our abilities to defend our country by sending our equipment to be destroyed in Europe. Meanwhile, we having nothing left to defend our country,

Mr. 10% is a traitor and needs to go!

The USA didn’t give money to “Ukraine”. The money “given” to Ukraine has mostly made a u-turn into the pockets of Biden, Obama, Pelosi, Kerry and everyone in line on the left – and McConnell!!

Well good. The Ukraine war seems to be the ‘hurry up’ factor in what would come in a decade or so anyway, meaning the breakup of the Russian Federation. Russia is and has been a nuisance nation.

“Aid to Ukraine” is not about helping Ukraine, but rather about massive graft, money laundering, and corruption.

I don’t understand how people still are unable to see this.

So let me get this straight. Biden won’t go to East Palestine, OH to survey and support those affected by the ecological disaster from the train derailment but his advisors think it is a good idea to send him into a war zone to cheer the fraud Zelenskyy along in his war with Russia.

Amazing. Just amazing.

Yes. And he’s visiting Ukraine via a 10 hour train ride. One can only imagine the security risks surrounding this foolish trip.

But Biden is spending President’s Day in Ukraine. That seems appropriate.

I am reminded of another train… one going from Germany to Petrograd…. carrying Lenin. At least the train was the lesser risk…. imagine AF-1 with a dozen F-35s plus AWACs entering Ukrainian airspace…bad visual. Oh.. and air raid sirens going off… and nobody diving for cover. Hillary comes to mind. Could we convince Zel to have kept FJB in Ukraine.

Maybe they’ve run out of other ways to keep him from re-declaring.
It’s a great plan, after all. Joe loves his trains so!
They can have his key bronzed for his memorial.

Biden went there to make sure they have the right routing and checking account numbers for the “10% for the Big Guy” kickbacks from the .GOV war donations pouring in from the Feral Reserve Bank.

Stolen elections have consequences.

Say… has General Milley Vanilli been tried and executed for treason yet when he colluded with the ChiComs to undermine CiC Trump in 2020?

Asking for a nation formerly known as the USA.

These are the last people we need in charge if China starts a war, they’d be on the wrong side.

Otto Kringelein in reply to geronl. | February 20, 2023 at 10:24 am

We will be fighting a direct war the Russian Federation before we ever get into a war with China. Russia first. Then China will jump in and invade Taiwan. Of course, that will necessitate a response from the Biden regime (yes, I think this will all go down in the next two years) but seeing as how they’ve fatally depleted the military of equipment and armaments for Biden’s proxy war in Ukraine the CCP will kick the United State’s ass hands down and that will be the end of Taiwan and any hope of ever reigning in the Chinese Empire. The Republic is dead! Long live the Republic.

The sad part is that the advisors pushed us into this without being able to ‘see around the corner’ and recognize the secondary, tertiary effects. If they did see the potential and ignored them that might be more scary.

    A down vote?? LOL

It is gutsy for Biden to go to Ukraine because something bad could happen. If it did, then the worst would happen…’Heels Up Harris’ will flounce into the WH..

Much easier to go to thousands of miles to Ukraine for a gas lighting photo op; Biden strolling around during an ‘air raid’ how stunning and brave. Much more difficult to go 300ish miles to E Palestine, Ohio and risk exposure to chemical contaminates and seething deplorables.

This trip is the sort of inside DC establishment tone deafness that reveals how provincial the thinking of the establishment is. This concrete display of establishment/laptop/credentialed class priorities is quite telling.

Midget sitcom star becomes president? How about Michael J Fox 2024?

Already learned a lot from “Spin City”. While Fox and FJB both share Parkinsons…. Fox has otherwise full mental functionality.

You’ve got to hand it to Zelinski. While I do think he is trying to save his country, he’s also a bag-man for Biden and the left – AND McCONNELL. If that’s what it takes to save his country, that’s what it takes.

Meantime: how many are getting slaughtered, how many billions are making their way to democrat pocketbooks – and McCONNELL’s – in a war that would have never started had a non-treasonous, uncorrupted president beein in power.

The Gentle Grizzly | February 20, 2023 at 9:53 am

Meanwhile, no concern for our Palestinians.

The Z Man must have a vid of Jill getting spitroasted by Hunter and a GSD

Zelensky: “I told him if we didn’t get that $500 million in equipment in the next (looks at watch) six hours I would expose all of his family’s corruption in Ukraine”.

    “Well, son-of-a-bitch………….”

It’s simpler than that: much of the billions we’re sending are making u-turns into democrat pockets, and McConnell’s.

If Ukraine is winning the war, then where is the air superiority ? Well, Biden is a “train man” we all heard sbout.

The White House tweet leaves some unanswered questions:

Unwavering commitment to “democracy” means voting in person with ID and no mail in ballots. Is that what Biden means for Ukraine?

Commitment to sovereignty means securing the country’s border against illegal invasion from people who will disrupt the culture and institutions of a country. Is Biden looking to protect Ukraine from illegal immigration of able-bodied illiterate Russian men of military age?

Commitment to territorial integrity means not letting enemies into your country. Does Biden plan on protecting Ukraine from Chinese buying up farmland and waterways or infiltrating Ukrainian universities and defense industries?

maybe FJB is in Ukraine to learn about banning opposition parties (oops… already functional), imprisoning opponents (oops.. already functional) , and banning th Church (working on it).

Must have had to go pick up a check.

Returning to the scene of the crime.

Apparently, they told the Russians beforehand about the PR stunt.

The President flying through air space where a country he has declared an “enemy” , called for regime change etc. has air supremacy?

Too far to Kiev for Marine one. I believe Air Force One has escort ( though I would probably be killed if I found out exactly what it was ). and would be a logistics nightmare. On top of which, what if Russia just started a missile attack?

Logistically it would be dangerous and exteremely difficult

Two words : green screen.

The first thing that Biden did after the Russian attack on Ukraine was to reassure Putin that he didn’t have to worry about NATO forces fighting against Russia in Ukraine. At the start of the attack Russia and the rest of the world thought that Russia would easily defeat Ukraine and intervention by NATO was the only risk of defeat they faced. This is where Quisling Biden’s assurance was invaluable and worth the millions in bribes they had paid him.

While mocking Biden over East Palestine is appropriate, I do not see it as the correct parallel. Instead of visiting Ukraine with respect to its fight over the invasion of its borders by Russia, Biden should have visited the southern border of the USA over the invasion of that country’s borders.

    henrybowman in reply to jb4. | February 20, 2023 at 11:52 pm

Sure, but in visiting Palestine instead, he’d at least be spared the humiliation of having been the direct and exclusive cause of the disaster there.
