Suspect Who Attacked Nancy Pelosi’s Husband Paul Reportedly Asked, ‘Where is Nancy?”
Police do not know the motive.
The man arrested and charged in the attack on Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul, allegedly asked, “Where is Nancy?” From Fox News:
San Francisco Police Chief William Scott said Depape, 42, is now facing charges of attempted homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, elder abuse, burglary and several several other additional felonies stemming from the incident after 2 a.m.
Scott said police responded to a wellbeing check and found Depape and Paul Pelosi, 82, struggling over a hammer. He said officers then witnessed Depape pull the hammer away from Pelosi and “violently assaulted” him.
Officers then immediately tackled Depape, disarmed him and took him into custody, while requesting emergency backup and rendering medical aid at the scene. The motive for the attack remains under investigation.
Doctors believe Paul will make a full recovery.

He also was described as having a record as a “nude Castro protestor” which is ambiguous. Which leaves other questions. WHERE was the Secret Service detail that covers Pelosi’s home 24/7/365? Numerous others have noted that even when Pelosi is not there, the SS is. And if they were not there, that explains why Pelosi’s husband called the police instead of calling for the SS unit based in the residence. And how the SS got upstaged by the SFPD despite the response time. But why, other than possibly being ordered NOT to be there, were they not there?”

Yes but protection is only at the highest level – presidents, candidates, children and spouses of presidents, leaders of other countries, a few more things. Speaker of the House does not get personal protection.
When I went by Nancy’s house in NAPA, the SS was all over the place.
I’d like to know how it is possible for an intruder that’s supposedly so agitated he’s repeatedly screaming “where’s Nancy” to take so long after breaking in that the police had time to personally see him take a hammer away from Paul. This smells rancid.
