Muslim Parents in Dearborn, MI Protest at School Board Meetings Over LGBTQ Content
Are progressives going to start calling these Muslims haters and domestic terrorists?
Dearborn, Michigan is home to a sizable Muslim community and parents there are not happy about the inclusion of explicit LGBT books and other content in their schools.
These parents are making their voices heard at school board meetings like other parents across the country, and this poses a big problem for progressives.
When mostly white parents from other areas were doing this, Democrats sought to portray them as terrorists. The National School Boards Association even enlisted Merrick Garland and the DOJ to intervene. How is the left going to do that here?

Muslim Protesters Shut Down Michigan School-Board Meeting over LGBTQ Books
A school-board meeting in Dearborn, Mich. was shut down earlier this week by hundreds of protesters opposing the circulation of LGBTQ books across the city’s public-school system.
Viral videos recorded by a Detroit Free Press reporter circulated on Twitter showing pandemonium breaking out at the meeting Monday night. Many of the protesters carried signs in English and Arabic: “Keep Your Dirty Books in the Closet,” “Stop Grooming Our Kids,” and “Homosexuality Big Sin,” some read.
Tensions boiled over when Roxanne McDonald, chair of the school board, limited attendee speaking time to three minutes. The proceedings were then halted due to fears that the growing crowd violated the fire code. Shouts of “Vote them out!” broke out.

Hundreds of protesters packed a Dearborn Public Schools board meeting this week and shut it down with cries of anger over certain LGBTQ books they said are too sexually explicit for children. And now, some community leaders anxiously await a rescheduled meeting set for Thursday night as others call for calm.
A heavy police presence failed to prevent the Monday night meeting from descending into chaos as demonstrators took it over and then various factions within them jostled for control, shouting at each other. Protesters often ignored the requests of police officers to stop interrupting board members.
Tempers are flaring.

Parents should have the final say in their children’s education, not the latest fad “educational” gimmick. Even Bill Maher is noting how many kids are being encouraged to claim some sort of transgender status to get attention, favors or privileges in school.

This is a good time to encourage these Muslims to leave. As shown above, they are pushing Muslim shit in public schools, Go to Dearborn (I have), they blast their call to prayer loudly on PA systems, Thie call to prayer sounds like someone suffering from severe dysentery.
Muslims are lower on the progressive victim pecking order, so yes, they’ll be called names as soon as the LGBT efforts to make alliances with them are rebuffed. It should be a hoot to watch.
It seems to me that the LGBTQEIEIO crowd is starting to run out of allies in the Intersectional Olympics.
Then they start fighting each other. We should encourage them to do so early and often.

No, I think he has a valid point. The “aggrieved” are never satisfied with tolerance. They always eventually demand more and more extreme concessions, to the point where others devoutly begin to wish they would just go away. And if they won’t go away on their own, then they start thinking of ways to make that happen. It turns an “interest group” that you were perfectly happy to “leave and let live” into one you want to see explode in a puff of smoke.
It’s really the same dynamic you see for any entitlement, from welfare to Medicare.

I don’t think that’s shadowbanning….I think it’s some kind of browser cache issue.
Before I complained about it, I tried two different browsers. Same results from both. But if somebody other than me can see the 9:10 post, then it isn’t shadowbanning. Maybe LI has the capability of marking posts invisible to nonmembers (people not logged in) so as to thwart feds and cancel-karens. Try logging out and then see if you can still see the 9:10.

That’s the stealth moderation policy that has been established here at LI and the reason I will no longer post here. You cannot be assured, unless you log out and look, that your comment has actually been posted so that others can see it or whether it’s in stealth moderation and the PTB are simply presenting it to you as if it actually posted but it hasn’t really been. Worse, they give no indication that the moderation policy has been applied to the post. To their credit it seems as if most posts are approved and are allowed to be seen. But it’s a really poor system in my opinion.
It was most amazing seeing how fast Muslims became an approved minority victim group to the Left right after 9/11. Observers could see a train wreck off in the future somewhere when the conflicts in their respective value systems would scuttle the venture. ‘Islamophobia’ was their juvenile attack on the Right — useful idiots to Islam, as the Left found a new ‘ally’ in their quest to destroy America.
