The Transportation Department will force airlines to showcase all their supposed “junk fees” because they don’t? I always seem to find them. Does Biden think people of color cannot read or navigate a website?
Airlines make the price difference between the seat sections clear as day. It’s not a junk fee.
I’m not saying they can’t charge it, but they got to let you know they’re going to charge it. You can make a decision.
Some airlines, if you want six more inches between you and the seat in front, you pay more money. But you don’t know it until you purchase your ticket.

Variation on that: when legislation was passed, I believe either in California or one of the cities, about making dry cleaning and laundry same price for men and women, the laundries just raised the price on doing men’s shirts (either to do, less delicate trim and buttons).
My favorite is when the free toy was banned in Happy Meals, the franchisees just went with “for only one cent more, you get a toy!”.
