Susquehanna University Students, But Not Staff, Must Have the COVID Vaccine
“returning students must be fully vaccinated prior to arriving on campus”
This hardly seems fair. Why would parents and students put up with it?
Campus Reform reports:
University mandates vaccine for students but not staff
Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania released its Fall 2022 COVID-19 vaccination protocol, stating that returning students must be fully vaccinated prior to arriving on campus.
In contrast to the student vaccination requirement, employees are only “strongly encouraged” to be vaccinated prior to returning to campus, suggesting that unvaccinated employees should “talk to [their] doctor about the benefits.”
Students employed by the university are subject to stricter protocols.
Susquehanna University policy states that students may request a COVID-19 vaccination exemption for medical, religious, or philosophical reasons, though whether such an exemption will be granted will be considered “on an individual basis through the Student Health Center.”
The university also reserves “the right to require exemption approvals be renewed for each academic year,” leaving students wondering if their exemption would be approved each subsequent year.
Susquehanna gives individual instructors the ability to choose to require masks in their classrooms, regardless of any student’s vaccination or booster status.

Never mind that 20 something people are at basically no risk from covid.
It isn’t to protect the students, silly. It is to protect the professors from the students.
This settles it. I won’t buy a Susquehanna hat!
/how many will get the reference?
“‘Don’t send my son to Harvard.’ the dying mother said.
‘And certainly not to Susquehanna; I’ll cut him out of the will'”
Well, you can tell who the place is run for.
It is like everything else during COVID. Bosses and Administrators make rules to protect themselves first and foremost. Ever notice how the older, sicker, fatter governors had stricter lockdowns than younger healthy governors (political grandstanders like Cuomo, Newsom, and Whitmer excepted of course)
Such a tiny little college, nestled along the Susquehanna River in an otherwise nondescript yet lovely valley. It was the place where I first heard the Paul Winter Consort. Must have been around 1973. Dang, that was nearly 50 years ago.
