Bill Maher: Critical Race Theory and LGBTQ Curricula in Schools Will Drive People to Vote for Trump

“I know people who say, ‘I have kids, and I don’t like it when they come home and say, uh, they divided the class today into oppressors and oppressed. And if I change my sex, I don’t have to tell my parents’.”

During his show this weekend, Bill Maher tried to explain to his liberal guests that progressive agenda issues in schools like Critical Race Theory and LGBTQ subjects will drive many voters, particularly parents, to support Trump if he runs again.

Maher isn’t always right, but he is right about this.

Gabriel Hays of FOX News has details:

Maher claims CRT and LGBTQ curricula in schools will drive voters to choose Trump despite him being a ‘creep’

Bill Maher claimed that parents are so scared of their kids being indoctrinated by critical race theory and transgender ideology in America’s schools that they will vote for former President Trump despite thinking he’s a “creep.”

The comedian and host of “Real Time with Bill Maher,” made the remarks during the latest segment of his recorded post-show discussion, titled “Overtime,” which was posted to HBO Max and YouTube on Friday.

During the 15-minute-long panel, Maher told his guests – country music singer Trace Adkins, journalist Julia Loffe, and historian John Meacham – that left-wing propaganda is so predatory towards American school children, parents will be forced to vote for Trump, if he runs again…

He then gave the perspective of parents of public school children, arguing that many of them would vote for Trump because the threat to their kids from propaganda is worse than his flaws.

“But I don’t have kids,” he continued. “I know people who say, ‘I have kids, and I don’t like it when they come home and say, uh, they divided the class today into oppressors and oppressed. And if I change my sex, I don’t have to tell my parents.’”

“There’s s— like that going on,” the host declared, referencing critical race theory and gender theory finding its way into public school lesson plans…

“That’s all,” Maher declared. He then admonished Trump-opposed liberals who refuse to empathize with perspective he just gave. “And that’s why you seem like you have such contempt for half the country. I don’t think that’s going to get us where we need to go.”

This video is cued to start at the 12:30 mark. Just press play:

I think other issues like the economy, inflation, and the border crisis will have the same effect. If we get a rematch of Biden vs. Trump in 2024, people will be able to compare their records. A lot of people will choose to go back to a better economy, lower prices, and a secure border.

Maher of all people ought to like Trump. I don’t like Trump’s rallies but the man has a Don Rickles sense of humor and business competence and willingness to change things the left has screwed up, all three qualities working together.

People who think Trump is a creep usually believe a dishonest narrative about what he has said or done.

President Trump is not a creep, he’s a NY kind of guy who’s as squeaky clean as they come. If he wasn’t, BELIEVE me, they would have found something in the last 7 years, they still are trying, planting like master gardeners no doubt.

Now Bill Maher is a creep, he frequented the playboy mansion weekly, was found in the grotto having sex with barley legal aged girls

    He’s full of sh!t

    He’s scum

As I recall, Maher was the young son of Imus’s boss at WNBC radio and Imus and crew used to set him up with page girls. According to Imus’s stories of the time. For Maher and the page girls it was a win/win. That was before #MeToo.

If Trump is a master gardener, Biden is Chauncey Gardener.

Who knew Trump would turn out to be the most law abiding honest billionaire in politics?

His political enemies assumed from the start they could easily find he had done many illegal things in his business life. Probably because they and all their political associates and business cronies are corrupt and dirty and only getting away with it because they all protect each other.

They said the same thing about BLM burning down cities.
That the business owners and employees would vote Republican.
      Did not happen

I didn’t know Trump was running for anything. If the assumption by someone such as Bill Maher is that he is (not a wild assumption), it reinforces how much of a threat he is to the left.

It also demonstrates that Bill Maher is full of it. He either won’t stop supporting the very people he criticizes on his show, or he will vote for some 3rd party twat, which does nothing to stop the left.

Can’t stand this guy. He is a self-absorbed jackass.

Jackass yes, scum yes, but jackass describes him more point on

Maher is an ‘entertainer’. He lives and dies by having a paid audience so he is spreading his bets to cover the odds. He tells his writers to give him some pro-conservative stuff and then puts on a act delivering them.

Unfortunately, some only see the clips like this and assume he is turning sane. They are fooling themselves.

Sounds like Maher is busy personally recapitulating The Enlightenment. Well, it’ll be slow going, as the original took over a century and more men were working on it.

All Maher is saying is that people will choose the lesser evil consequences, and forgetting personalities, the consequences with Trump are far better than with puppet Biden, who I doubt will last to the end of ’23.

Well, choosing the lesser evil has been something Republicans have been forced to do for decades. It’s way past time the Democrats got to see what it tastes like.

That’s what he’s concerned about.

Not that it’s insane propaganda that exploits children. Not that it teaches outright racism, not that it preys on vulnerable teenagers and PRE-teenagers.

No, he’s concerned it will make his party lose elections.

Maher, or his public persona, is kinda getting it. He can’t say it.

Most people who voted for Trump didn’t vote for Trump; they voted against Herself, and having Obama term III without the charm. They’re all part of the same program. And the “anybody but them” voters had a point. Now, people are dealing with what Der Bidengaffer will continue to do to them. And they have a point.

Maher can’t risk his gig again, so he won’t point to non-opinion, non culture, non-team sport reasons people have for simply voting their own interest: months of riots, destroying industries, destroyed cities, “rescue” bills spending about an additional $3,000 per person each, $2,000 each we’re gonna pay for other people’s college, and Welcome Back Carter recession inflation and energy disruption all at once. Let’s go, Brandon.

He’s gotta do the CRT shuffle to make it still about those backward people being backward.

Maher ain’t Dave Chappelle, or Joe Rogan. Maybe he should put his show on hiatus and take a trip to Africa to find himself.

A guy I know said his kid told him the HS was putting litter boxes in the bathrooms because some of the students said they identified as cats. Seriously. He wasn’t kidding. And he was shaking his head in disapproval and disgust.

Mean tweets combined with a fantastic booming economy, no new wars, and a tough China trade policy may be looking better and better to many people who voted for the wannabe leftwing fascist dictator Brandon (because they were told Trump was the wannabe dictator) and who have not been thoroughly indoctrinated from birth to hate America to its very core.

Bill Maher is an attention seeking whore. The fact that Ann Coulter and him were a thing tells you a lot about Ann. Ann’s other fling with Mr. Penthouse is disgusting. Did I really want to hear about Maher masturbating in a barn.

Maher is trash. Don’t be fool. Remember a monkey can type Shakespeare.

I am upset that I wasted watching his clip. The top is a good topic to discuss and is nothing new. We live though all of Bill Gates common core. That is were the focus should be . Gates – Common Core, Gates – genetic modified mosquitos released in Florida, Gates – dumping vaxxs on the world and turning 20 B to 2oo B. Gates buying up farm land. Microsoft controlling our televideos and MS 360 office in our schools.

I can see Maher laughing up a storm at a party….ha.. I got them thinking I am on their side, what fools they are. …, just wait, I will cut them off at the knees. He is trash and I don’t trust him for a minute.

If you want, I can tell you how I really feel about him/s

According to the Democrats, my choices are unilaterally banned abortions or tranwomen’s rights to use the locker room of their choice. Personally, I believe that medical decisions should be made by patients and doctors, NOT politicians and I certainly don’t want abortions banned unilaterally, However…. at this point in my life, I am far more concerned about my teenage daughter being confronted with naked men in places that are supposed to be reserved for women. So…. I’m going to be inclined to lean toward candidates that are willing to protect her right to a penis-free locker room.

Like murder of adults, most abortions are moral, not medical, decisions. Like murder of adults, an abortion results in one less human person than would have otherwise existed.

I’m not sure what you mean by “unilaterally”. I think abortion should be banned gradually, starting with heartbeat laws.

I wonder what “fundamentals” you are against.

Hell is officially freezing over. Maher is making a little sense.
