The Left Always Considered Trump an Illegitimate President
Trump himself said, and he was correct: “They’re not after me, they’re after you – I’m just in the way.”
One thing the Mar-A-Lago raid has driven home is that the left believes—and they think much of the general public will agree—that what ordinarily would be allowed to most presidents and ex-presidents is not to be allowed to Trump. That is because they think and have always thought he was an illegitimate president with no right to hold that office.
It doesn’t matter which reasoning they try to use to explain and justify that point of view: he’s too uncouth, he’s stupid, he’s a clown, he’s beneath us, he’s a Russian puppet, he’s a racist, he wears a MAGA hat, he didn’t get the popular vote, Russian disinformation enabled his win. The bottom line is that they think, or pretend to think, that he wasn’t a real president and shouldn’t be treated as one.
Spy on him. Lie about him. Frame him. Shame him. Do whatever is necessary.
He may have possession of classified documents? Indict him under an act that is virtually never used as a criminal statute (except in rare cases and then involving a misdemeanor) and absolutely never used against a president or ex-president because he really wasn’t a real president. Therefore, he’s not a real ex-president either.
Get a search warrant so general that it allows you to search his entire residence and confiscate every bit of paper you find that has anything to do with his bogus non-presidential “presidential” years. Probable cause? Don’t tell the American people what you cited as the probable cause because the probable cause is actually that the illegitimate Trump deserves no respect and deserves everything bad that’s coming to him.
And they know that half of America will agree and applaud them.
Oh, and the goal was never to get the documents for the documents’ sake. They knew the documents were not at all at risk. The goal was to get evidence to get Trump, period. What was it Schumer said? Oh yeah – and he said it shortly before Trump’s inauguration:
“Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.”
Is there any doubt whatsoever that the Mar-A-Lago raid is the intelligence community (and the left) “getting back” at Trump, for the umpteenth time?

Yes, we all know how soft Trump was on our foreign adversaries, as opposed to previous tough-guy Obama and current tough-guy Biden. The left keeps peddling this preposterous dreck, the MSM keeps dutifully and uncritically spinning it back to the public, and half the country nods and says, “Yes, that’s just what he was probably going to do.”

Trump isn’t just a MacGuffin, but he is at least partly a symbol. Sarah Palin was a similar symbol before him, but because she never was elected VP, the focus on her faded. Trump would have faded, too, if he had lost the 2016 election. His winning and becoming president was an outrage that can never be forgiven. They could not believe it had happened. They think he must be prevented from ever winning again or ever taking a position of any kind of political power.
Not just Trump, though; any Republican who isn’t part of the genteel NeverTrumper club must never take power. Any Republican who might really be serious about stopping them and especially about draining the so-called swamp cannot have any power. It is a deadly serious game, and they are determined to win.

Imagine what these powerful government agencies could do if they went after people on Epstein’s client list. Now imagine that there is no need for any of these agencies if all they do is persecute those which they have political disagreements.
Indeed. They are eerily silent about that list, tacit admission that it is stuffed with high profile Democrats and their allies. It is easy enough to prove otherwise. Publish it and let the chips fall where they may.

I was thinking the same thing. Before there was Trump derangement Syndrome, there was Bush Derangement Syndrome. At the time, we thought it was truly vile. Compared to what President Trump has gone through, it was quite mild.
When they lose and election, they escalate the conflict. That’s also how they react to winning. So no matter what happens in 2024, it’s going to be epic.
And before that there was Reagan, and before him Nixon. Both were “Literally Hitler” in their days. Also, every Republican president and candidate since Eisenhower has been dumb as a post, except Nixon; they couldn’t even pretend he was dumb, so they made him extra evil instead. He wasn’t literally Hitler, Hitler was literally him. And like Trump, they were plotting his impeachment since before his inauguration.
Let’s be clear, the left is not the real problem. The real problem are the republicans that are the lefts little helpers. Were there an actual opposition party even the left would be less lunatic.
Fix the r party and you’ll fix the real problems in this country. Last night was a decent start.
True. We must find credible candidates and challenge the incumbents in the primaries. If we won’t do the work to get an alternative to a particular rino elected in our CD or State then that’s on us. Folks from other States can help a bit with financing but don’t rely on them to do the hard work for you. Replacing an incumbent backed by the rino establishment is hella hard work.
Maybe the left will consider him legitimate if he changes his name, presents a forged birth certificate, and uses the social security number of a deceased man from a State where he never lived.

Obama did issue a forged birth certificate. When a copy of his birth certificate was posted online by the White House, I downloaded a copy for myself. It was in PDF format. I opened it in Adobe Illustrator. It had layers. Each layer was an element of the certificate. If it had been a scan of an actual document, it wouldn’t have had layers, it would have been “flat”; with the entire image of the certificate on a single layer. The layers gave it away as a forgery. For instance, where there’s a seal, in a scan the seal would be part of the image. If you did separate it from the document, there’d be nothing under it – there would be a hole in the image from which an element was cut out (just as if part of an image was cut out of a photo in a magazine). In the Obama birth certificate, the layers (composed of images themselves) floated above other images. Those lower images were not “knocked out” as if the certificate was an image that had been pulled apart after the document was scanned (god only knowns why someone would do that). Underlying image layers were intact, something that is impossible when a scan is made of a document (because there is no “under” in a paper document). (Imagine cutting a person out of a photo in a magazine, and finding that cutting out a portion of the page didn’t result in a hole, but was full of new image data, as if you could now see what was behind the person when the photo was made.)
The birth certificate was assembled by scanning sample documents. Whatever dope created it forgot to flatten the document (which would have put all of the image elements on a single layer, and which would have eliminated any data that was underlying higher layers prior to the flattening). Quite frankly, I was shocked that the creator made such a mistake. Gave away the game completely and without doubt.
The birth certificate was a forgery. Period. Obama may have been born in Hawaii, but that was not his birth certificate. It was created to supply a demand.

Meaning, I think, that there’s a broad bi-partisan consensus about governance in the US. Both parties like the perpetually expanding bureaucratic, regulatory welfare state and both parties support the post WWII invention of all of the multi-lateral globalist institutions that supposedly “spread democracy” and set foreign policy. So when power shifts between parties after elections, there are only minor shifts in actual governance – the ball moves from one 40 yard line to the other.
They don’t like Trump because he threatened to push the ball well past the 40 yard line. He wanted to upset the status quo. He talked about things that the bi-partisan consensus did not want talked about. Why do we keep spending money on NATO now that the USSR no longer exists? We do we spend more on NATO than the Europeans do? Is economic globalism really good? Is unfettered immigration desirable? Why do we start a war in Afghanistan to remove the Taliban from power, then after 20 years and after spending a trillion dollars, we give Afghanistan back to the Taliban? Etc.
They don’t like President Trump because he’s not a member of the club and doesn’t want to be.

I believe the steal was on during the 2016 election. But the effort fell short. I think this explains why Hillary was (and still is) beside herself over the results. She knows her side cheated and the cheating failed. In her mind, she was a sure winner because she knew the fix was in. Imagine what was going on in her head when the cheating proved insufficient and she lost to someone she considers a baboon.

Trump was my president. I don’t feel same way about Obama or Biden. I suspect the recent elections were not on the up and up. The a Democrats have General derangement syndrome. It never goes away.
It is clear with the 2020 election it open up the fraud that has been happening for many years. I lived in GA from 2005 to end of 2021 and the GA Senate had a committee investigate fraud in the Nov 2020 election and they found it in many ways. They reported it to the GA Senate and GA GOV Kemp bit neither took it forward. One of the ways is showed in the film 2000Mules.
The fraud is still happening in the primaries this year on both sides in various states. It happens to various government positions at different levels and we need to go back to paper ballots that are not mail in.
Why is this news? It’s never legitimate if they don’t get what they want. It has been so since the ’90’s at least. Probably earlier.
