Biden Promotes ‘Safer America Plan’ With Lies and Threats to Ban ‘Assault Weapons’

Biden Promotes ‘Safer America Plan’ With Lies and Threats to Ban ‘Assault Weapons’

“…if you want to fight against the country, you need an F-15. You need something more than a gun.”

Biden went to Wilkes University to promote his “Safer America Plan.” He threw out the usual lies to convince people he needed to  ban “assault weapons.”

Biden also threatened people who don’t like the government:

My friend Matt Cover had the best tweet today.

I could end the post right now. How about a lie about January 6:

BIDEN: “Police lost their lives as a result of that day. Police lost their lives. One of the officers said it was worse than anything he had experienced in war in Iraq. So let me say this to my MAGA Republican friends in Congress. Don’t tell me you support law enforcement if you won’t condemn what happened on the sixth. Don’t tell me.

(Applause)

Can’t do it. For God’s sake, whose side are you on? Whose side are you on?”

But Biden said he wants to ban “assault weapons” in America:

BIDEN: “Guess what? We took on the NRA and we’re going to take them on again and we won. And we will win again.

(Applause)

We’re not stopping here. I’m determined to ban assault weapons in this country. Determined.

(Applause)

I did it once before, and I’ll do it again. For many of you home, I want to be clear: it’s not about taking away anybody’s guns. In fact, we should be treating responsible gun owners as examples how every gun owner should behave. I have two shotguns at home — it’s a long story, but I’m not opposed to guns, but I support the Second Amendment and I support the Second Amendment.”

Biden went off script about how a black neighborhood had the highest crime, but they also had the best basketball players:

BIDEN: “If I can — just interject for a moment. My deceased son Beau, he was the attorney general of the state of Delaware, and what he used to do is go down in the East Side, called The Bucket, highest crime rate in the country, is a place where I used to — I was the only white guy that worked as a lifeguard down in that area, in the East Side. And you know, you can always tell where the best basketball in the state is, or the best basketball in the city is, it’s where everybody shows up.”

The old man confused the Pennsylvania politicians on the ballot.

Mass shootings? We have mass shootings every day in this country? I had no idea:

BIDEN: “Think about it. Think about the devastation that’s occurred. We have to act for all those kids gunned down on our streets every single day that never make the news. There’s a mass shooting every single day in this country in the streets of America, every single day. You have to ask — you have to act so our kids can learn to read in school instead of learning to duck and cover.

(Applause)

Literally, schools all across America, kids are showing up —“

Says the jackass that proceeded to withdrawal from Afghanistan in an utter route nearly at a full speed run. Leaving Billions of dollars worth of material to be captured by men armed with ??? guns.

This is at minimum the third time a Democrat politician has threated his fellow countrymen with the US military.

Good job bringing us all together.

    George_Kaplan in reply to Martin. | August 30, 2022 at 7:25 pm

Utter route, or utter rout? 😛

The billions of dollars worth of materials was effectively donated to the Taliban. Isn’t there something in the law about aiding and abetting the enemy by providing them with materials?

henrybowman in reply to Martin. | August 30, 2022 at 7:35 pm

    This.
Afghanis had nothing but guns and trucks,
And they whipped your scurvy ass, Joe. They whipped it raw and bloody.

This is a very dangerous man, and I believe he will be the last president of the United 50 States.

GWB in reply to Martin. | August 31, 2022 at 8:28 am

That materiel was not ours. We had ‘sold’ it to the Afghans, and it was their responsibility to use it effectively to keep the Taliban away.

And why does that even matter?

Because people are wrongly placing the blame. It matters, if your goal is to convince others of the truth. Facts matter.

While I have issues with the Biden administration’s withdrawal execution, and I have issues with their foreign policy stupidity, that’s something you cannot specifically or solely blame them for. And I see that bit thrown about a LOT on the interwebz. So I attempt to correct the facts when I see it.

henrybowman in reply to GWB. | August 31, 2022 at 7:38 pm

          It’s really a quibble.
Like arguing that NIH didn’t fund the Wuhan lab — they funded somebody who funded the Wuhan lab.
Either way, it starts with our money, and ends in the hands of the enemy, full stop.
It’s all nothing but a shell (corp) game, and they want us to be the suckers.

Yes, the Government does have F-15’s, however, you have to have someone to fly them. And until the DOD is totally woke, I believe that the pilots won’t drop bombs on American citizens. However, the up side is that we produce the FIM-92 Stinger, the same system used effectively in Ukraine, and those are easier to get than an F-15.

    MarkJ in reply to rutvet83. | August 30, 2022 at 7:31 pm

Pilots are the least of it. Take ground crew and logistical support (e.g., fuel and spare parts) out of the picture and Uncle Joey’s wonderful F-15’s are reduced to multi-ton paperweights. “Good generals study tactics. Great generals study logistics.”

      rutvet83 in reply to MarkJ. | August 30, 2022 at 7:53 pm

While I agree with you, I would like to clarify a little. The USAF is the only branch where the officers are allowed to kill. The USA, USMC and USN all have (for the most part, exception being the fighter pilots of those branches) the enlisted personnel doing the heavy lifting. With wokeness being woven into the service academies, the USAF would probably have a larger portion of pilots woke. The enlisted part of the AF is probably aready gone. When the supply chain becomes disrupted, he will have multi-ton paperweights. Will probably run out of fuel long before running out of bombs and spare parts (see Patton’s Third Army, Germany, WW2).

        Chewbacca in reply to rutvet83. | August 31, 2022 at 1:04 am

The only branch where the officers are allowed to kill? Never been in the military, have you?

Arminius in reply to Chewbacca. | August 31, 2022 at 2:09 am

I was in the armed forces. The military and naval forces being different. I was Navy. But I served. And it’s bulls**t that USAF enlisted are authorized to kill their officers.

You’re fighting an A-10. An F-16. You got a fuckin’ cannon, bro!.

Sure, they didn’t know about the revolution when you launched.

          rutvet83 in reply to Chewbacca. | August 31, 2022 at 8:16 am

Yes, I stand by that with the clarification that the Air Force has the highest percentage of officers that kill people. Air Force officers fly planes. Planes with bombs kill people, thus Air Force officers kill people. There are exceptions, such as SP’s, and PJ’s who also kill people. All the clerks and jerks don’t. The USMC, everyone is a rifleman, thus kill people. Officers in the USMC don’t carry rifles, only pistols. The US Army has most of the combat arms, Infantry, Armor and Artillery. Tank commanders are enlisted, the same way with Mortar Gun crews, and Artillery gun crews. Officers command and lead. The USN their gun crews are enlisted, officers command.
And, as far as my military career, USMC 1978-1986 (Operation Urgent Fury, Multinational Force, Beirut,Lebanon), 1986-1992 USA (Operation Desert Storm, 3rd ACR), 1999-2002 USA (again), 2002-2009 USAF (Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom x 2).

          Your turn.

So what you meant to say was that in the USAF, unlike other services, it’s primarily the officers that “kill”. That’s 180 degrees from what you said.

Officers in the USMC don’t carry rifles, only pistols.
Bullcarp. Heck, it’s bullcarp in the Air Force, though less so.

The USN their gun crews are enlisted
How about their missile crews and all of their aircraft? Those play a much bigger role in modern naval doctrine than guns (which are currently primarily ship defense).

Me? Academy grad, AF Pilot, ALO, numbered AF staff and theater command and control, active duty sea time (yes, as an AF officer), contractor with the Navy (often at sea, including Indian Ocean time during the late unpleasantness), contractor with the Marines, contractor with the AF, contractor with the DoD. All-in-all, almost 40 years serving.

it’s bulls**t that USAF enlisted are authorized to kill their officers.

Huh? Nobody suggested that. Either your eyes or your imagination need a tune-up.

          @rutvet83

          Yeah, I’m wondering.

A platoon commander is a junior officer. Doubt me at your peril.

‘..USAF is the only branch where Officers are allowed to kill’

Bro, either you don’t know WTF you are talking about or you needed more coffee. Had you stated that the Officer Pilots in the USAF conduct the overwhelming majority of that Branch’s combat missions directly focused on killing the enemy then fine.

You could even leave out the “Pilots” part and be correct. Strategic missile crews are all officers (except maintenance).

If we need F-15s, then how was January 6 a big thing? There weren’t even any guns. I guess the guy with the horns had a stick…

Go back to Gulf War 1 and the general who pointed out that driving to Baghdad meant driving along roads with 300,000 armed Baathist Party members. F-15s don’t stop civil wars.

Again… Beau this and Beau that. Can we now see why Biden’s daughter and … oh.. that other son … are in the shadows all their lives. Of course Beau made something of himself.. but maybe because of being a Biden more than for being himself? FJoe Biden is an ingrained lying Democrat…but I repeat myself. But then…his audience should know better,

With all due respect to the deceased, I will give Beau the benefit of the doubt and assume that he was not also a part of the Biden crime family.

Then again, assumption is the mother of all screwups….

George_Kaplan | August 30, 2022 at 7:23 pm

Brave right-wing Americans wanting to fight against their country need an F-15 not a gun?

Yet the Taliban sent Joe fleeing from Afghanistan with little more than AK-45s.

And the Left are still wringing their hands over an unarmed, fiery but peaceful rally in DC in January 2020 which they insist was an insurrection that almost toppled the government!

So which is it? Are unarmed Rightists such a threat that a few hundred can seize control of the country? Are resolute Rightists who pick up AK-45s, or comparable weapons, and wage jihad against the government able to send Joe fleeing back to DC with brown trousers?

It seems the Left simultaneously want a Right boogeyman that threatens the government whilst not even armed, and a Rightist strawman that despite being so gunned up as to make Arnie or Stallone green with envy, isn’t competent of holding his, or her, ground or defending their kids, family, friends, neighbourhood, or way of life. In short the Left is as mentally defici(en)t as Uncle Joe Bidet.

Wow, Joe Biden* never ceases to amaze me… what a moron this retard is.

And apparently ignorant of the history of “super powers” versus guerilla insurgents, too.

Arminius in reply to Paul. | August 31, 2022 at 9:42 pm

Though I wish it were different, I believe it.

Last I read about a third of the population in Russia would love to bring communism back.

My guess is 25-35% of the US population would love to see us shipped off to a gulag, never to return.

With enough vote fraud ‘fortification’ that could be enough to win most of our elections. Until there are no longer two party elections. Until one day there are only one party (or uniparty) elections. Like in Chicago. And the old Soviet Union.

NavyMustang in reply to JHogan. | August 30, 2022 at 11:19 pm

Many of the Russians who want the Soviet Union back are the older generation. One woman summed up why nicely: “We didn’t have freedom, but we had stability.” After the Iron Curtain fell, they went into shock over the excesses of the 90s. They are afraid those days will return.

henrybowman in reply to NavyMustang. | August 31, 2022 at 7:42 pm

“One woman summed up why nicely: “We didn’t have freedom, but we had stability.”
Provided by all the corpses of your suspect compatriots buried under your cornerstone.

There is a Jordan Peterson video where he dismisses the notion that WWII German civilians either didn’t know what was happening or didn’t have a choice but to follow orders at the concentration camps for fear of their lives. The majority of any civilian population can be persuaded to participate on even the most horrific state crimes. I don’t have time to do a search but I am sure it’s not hard to find. He talks about this often.

I’ve also seen films of German village townspeople holding celebrations with oompah bands playing in town center with crowds including children participating in beating and killing Jews. Evil exists and the potential is all around you. We are living it right now.

On the plus side gun control has been and continues to be a loosing issue for the Democrats. So in the face of the
Republicans appearing to have been loosing momentum going in to November we should that the Dim Wit in Chief for giving us a good thing to talk about.

Colonel Travis | August 30, 2022 at 8:14 pm

The F-15 came out almost 50 years ago. Does this guy know we have newer planes?

If I need a Sopwith Camel to take over Joe Biden’s house, or whatever he thinks I’m getting ready to do, then why is he worried about my AR?

The Gentle Grizzly | August 30, 2022 at 8:22 pm

Will he also ban motorbikes?

You didn’t listen to the entire speech just read the comments. He also vowed to outlaw the talking picture shows, The Edsel as unsafe, kerosene lamps, record players and the Conestoga because it is mean to horses.

Not that it matters since biden is dumber than a door knob, but F-15’s or any other airplane will be useless unless you wish to destroy everything on a normal battlefield or a city. Against an actual guerrilla force, not so great.

The vast, vast majority of the military are deplorable’s.

GWB in reply to Barry. | August 31, 2022 at 8:51 am

Specifically the only current in-inventory F15 is more of an interdiction (and sometimes close air support) attack aircraft. And current weapons technology allows for very precise placement of those weapons. An F15E could be used to target individual vehicles, buildings, etc. Most combat aircraft in our inventory (USAF and USN) are actually pretty effective against insurgents – IF you can identify and track them.

And, of course, guerilla forces do eventually have to mass to have more effect than annoyance, and combat aircraft are very effective in that situation.

You also missed the part where he literally stopped in the middle of his speech to perv on a preteen girl.

It’s insane that this drooling moron is being propped up like this.

America needs an aneurysm.

Subotai Bahadur | August 30, 2022 at 8:54 pm

Just a thought, because one of the most missing things in this putative election in November is actual campaigning by the Republicans, but it has been argued that the GOPe really, really does not want to win back control of Congress because it will interfere with what their friends the Democrats want to do. The quickest way to get conservatives to completely abandon the Republican Party would be for the usual RINO suspects to turn coat and support Biden’s gun seizure ambitions. Mind you, that would probably result in the guns being actually used a lot sooner; but neither the Democrats nor the GOPe think that far ahead.

Subotai Bahadur

alaskabob in reply to Subotai Bahadur. | August 30, 2022 at 9:40 pm

The same RINOs may go along with this that voted the Red Flag laws…as it means $$$ from big donors. This will be a watershed moment in political history if the Repubs go along since the first ban had a sunset. The only fall back position is SCOTUS… but the gutting of any pretense of Constitutionality by the party will spell the end of any need for them as only the gentrified will be listened to by the leaders. That will be Mensheviks versus Bolsheviks from then on.

By any metric … the previous ban did nothing but this is politics and we left reality in the dust since 2020.

You don’t need a war to change the trajectory of the country, read John Ross’s book Unintended Consequences. It would take about 6 people and 12 bullets.

    Pfft. Anarcho-libertarian porn …

So the brain trust handling Brandon thinks their best chance in the midterms is to unleash him to babble and paint his political opponents as ‘semi-fascists’ with ‘assault weapons’ who are planning a civil war.

This may be red meat for radical lefties, but the rest of the country with an IQ above room temperature should be able to see right thru it. I hope.

I smell extreme desperation. They want someone on the right to respond with violence. Anyone. With any amount violence. Anywhere.

Next up… Indict and arrest Trump. That should get at least one ‘deplorable semi-fascist’ to start shooting at something or someone somewhere in the country. Right? Or so they hope.

    The_Mew_Cat in reply to JHogan. | August 30, 2022 at 10:10 pm

When they executed that search warrant, the arrest and indictment of Trump was already baked in the cake. My guess is they do it either this Friday or next, so that it isn’t 60 days from the election. And I expect that they will ask the Judge to order Trump to be held without bond on grounds that he is an insurrection risk.

Why would they arrest him when they are free to use him as some sort of giant boogyman threat with an army of white supremacists who are trying to destroy the world and the only way to save us is to elect more Democrats? When you arrest somebody, you need *proof* but when you do what the Dems have been doing for years, you can make up whatever lies you want.

Ok, point taken. However, imagine just what would happen if the current administration arrested Trump and held him in solitary without contact with his lawyers for a full year…. Admittedly, that’s their fever dream, but in reality they pushed the Overton window about as far as they can get with a raid on a former president to reclaim declassified documents, and set a nasty precedent too.

    diver64 in reply to JHogan. | August 31, 2022 at 5:16 am

The press is breathlessly reporting on Trumps endorsement record in the Midterms but seem to have no interest in the Sitting President’s. Has any democrat running for office asking Brandon to campaign for him or her?

Why the f* isn’t McConnell or McCarthy laying into this demented pedophile?

The GOP really should start calling Brandon and his regime radical leftwing fascists. He and they check most of the boxes.

— Fascists do all they can to disarm the population.
— Fascists quash freedom of speech and censor the people.
— Fascists use the power of government to harass, persecute, prosecute, and imprison political dissidents and domestic political enemies.
— Fascists threaten to turn the military on their dissident population. And often do so.
— Fascists collude with and use big business to implement their policies and advance their agenda. In return they help big business make as much money as possible and eliminate their competition.

The largest most powerful fascist governments in the world at the moment are…

1) The Chinese Communist Party controlled Chinese government.
2) The ‘Democrat’ Party controlled US government.

To the north in Canada Justin ‘Castro’ Trudeau is in the process of establishing his own little leftwing fascist controlled government.

Its high time people pay attention to what he is actually saying (and I do NOT mean the literal words he is using- I mean the entire point and emphasis he is getting across)

He is plainly saying HIS DEFINITION of a “safe America” is one where the state is the “all mighty protectorate” ruling over the sheeple who will have no say or voice in anything and they will love and accept it.

He makes it clear that EVERYONE who wants individual rights and freedom is an “enemy” to “safe America” and will be either subdued or destroyed by force.

Stop “buying the lie” that this is some innocent ( or “stupid” as some people say) ideological or political difference where we will just eventually agree to disagree and life marches on. ITS NOT!

This is that “fundamental transformation” we were told was coming. ( initially under Hillary but Trump derailed that and exposed the deep state)

We MUST focus on defeating the GOPe/RINO caucus- that is the key to the destruction of the left and their plans for a Marxist totalitarian state takeover..

For many of you home, I want to be clear: it’s not about taking away anybody’s guns.

[weary sigh] Joe, a “ban” IS taking away somebody’s guns.

if you want to fight against the country
I don’t want to fight against the country. It would be the government I would be fighting against.

One of the officers said it was worse than anything he had experienced in war in Iraq.
He’s either lying, never saw any real action, or is a nutjob and his advice should never be taken on any subject. There are no other options.

Don’t tell me you support law enforcement if you won’t condemn what happened on the sixth.
Another false dilemma fallacy. This is a big reason why I get frustrated with listening to this stuff.

Listen, Joe, I support law enforcement when they’re enforcing constitutional laws in a constitutional manner, and their actions are in line with Christian/Enlightenment ethics. I hate them and undermine them when they are doing other than that.
And I don’t condemn a lot of the Jan 6th actions because they were a rather natural reaction to the tyranny overtaking this country. Would it be better if we could just use our normal political processes to withdraw from our current path? Absolutely. But we’re not there anymore.

“I want to be clear: it’s not about taking away anybody’s guns.”
“I am determined to ban assault weapons in this country,”
One or both of these is a lie. (Aside from the “assault weapons” malarkey.) If you ban them, you will have to take them away.

BTW, you forgot this one:
“Do you realize the bullet out of an AR-15 travels 5 times as rapidly as a bullet shot out of any other gun.”
Here’s the numbers I ran on this one:
Top speed of an F-15A = 1,650mph
Top speed of an F-35 = 1.141mph
Actual muzzle velocity of a typical 5.56 round converted to mph = 2,215mph
Claimed muzzle velocity converted = 11,080mph
Those hypersonic missiles you keep hearing about? 3,806mph
(I happen to think he is an idiot AND he’s lying.)

“I did it once before and I’ll do it again,”
Because you’ve always been a tyrant.

My deceased son Beau
Criminy, again? (Yeah, yeah, I know.)

We have mass shootings every day in this country?
Depends on how you define “mass shooting”. And “is”.

learning to duck and cover
Well, if you don’t give Iran nukes, they won’t have to learn that.

Biden: You can’t own an automatic weapon (dude it’s a firearm) or a cannon

Me: (Looking at the cannon in my front yard)…. I can’t own a cannon?

Also Me: Why do I care if I can own an automatic firearm? I prefer judicious marksmanship over spray and pray.

The Hologram is a clear and present danger to America and it citizens. He said as much, spewing the same desperate rhetoric crap as a dictator wanna-be.

But he is THE DISTRACTION. Just look at his unconstitutional stunt to “forgive” student debt – which he has no authority to do. That was the entire news cycle for the past week…and they’re still blathering on about it.

It’s a distraction.

Tyranny comes in many forms…it’s right before our eyes. Last night he threatened the 74 million who voted for President Trump. Can it get any more obvious for those who “see”? Tomorrow he speaks at the hallowed Independence Hall in Philly and will say the exact opposite of what our Founders wanted but also forewarned. I have gotten to the point, watching these cretins wreck my country, of now hoping, somehow, The Founders smite this clown from their Heavenly position as a sign to the “enemies within” to knock it off. We need this man and his handlers to go away.

But doubtful that won’t likely dissuade them from trashing our Constitutional Republic.

“Hey, Joe, you moron, and all your idiot mouthpieces trying to control the narrative, IT’S NOT A DEMOCRACY!, you subversive piece of garbage!”

We’re two months out from Mid-Terms, it’s obvious the Swamp is getting more desperate…they’ll ramp up the lying and threats and goodies for the lazy bums and Marxists who vote for them.

Don’t be distracted by the Bravo Sierra.

“…if you want to fight against the country, you need an F-15. You need something more than a gun.”

The new nuke design is code named “The Fang Banger.”

What a Kook. All his minions on TV have been babbling about some stupid documents while we go to hell in a handbasket. I got documents too. Lectric Bill, Gas Bill, Food Bill, Tax and credit card bill. I only care about these important documents, They cab shove the Trump documents where the sun dont shine. I just could care less..

We need F-15s?

Well, joe, you need to tell that to the mujahadeen/taliban …… especially after you ran from them a year ago

btw, they also beat the russkies without F-15s

Two words for ya, Sleepy Joe:
    1. Vietnam; and
    2. Afghanistan.

“As for the ability of the American citizens to successfully wage a guerrilla war on their own government, the likes of which this world has never seen nor contemplated before, I am absolutely convinced that it could be done, and a lot more swiftly than many might believe possible. How many highly-capable long-range snipers can your county put together?”
~ Bill Bridgewater, “Armed Revolution Possible, Not So Difficult,” August 1994

(Of course, we WILL NOT prevail with the Lord God on our side, so there’s always that.)

“How many highly-capable long-range snipers can your county put together?”

I recall a posting I saw a couple decades ago (can’t find it, unfortunately) in which a fed showed up at a popular national .50-BMG schutzenfest held annually in the Bible belt, and stood there watching people destroy barrels, dead cars, buses, and so on at distances starting at 3/4 mile. The fed was later heard reporting that he was not so much disturbed by the damage these guns could inflict with great accuracy as he was how many .50-cal owners showed up there who were fully capable of it.

You want my AR-14 Joe?

Come and take it.

This big babble — announced, planned, prepared — coming out coincident with the Taliban parading abandoned US weapons through Bagram seems to refute that argument.

Aren’t the Screaming-D’s supposed to be good at propaganda — sorry “messaging?”
