A left wing group calling itself the ‘Now or Never Collective’ is vowing to shut down the Congressional baseball game later this month as an act of protest over the lack of meaningful climate change legislation.
This is just the latest example of radical behavior from the left, which seems increasingly desperate.

Climate activists plan to disrupt Congressional Baseball GameClimate activists are planning to disrupt this year’s annual Congressional Baseball Game.In a new video posted to social media, the Now or Never collective said that Congress has “one last shot” to pass historic climate legislation.”It’s time to leave everything on the field,” it wrote.If politicians have “failed to deliver,” the group said it would shut down the game.”We will not stand by, watching them play baseball while the world burns,” Now or Never said…Now or Never is choosing to engage in direct action, it noted, because “conventional tactics are not enough” and it is “time to escalate.”

If our politicians have failed to deliver, we will shut it down,” Now or Never’s website says. “We will not stand by, watching them play games while the world burns. Everything we love is at stake. Our safety, our future, our one and only home. It’s time to leave everything on the field.”Those threats come five years after James Hodgkinson, a former campaign volunteer for socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.), showed up at Republicans’ practice for the game and shot Scalise, a congressional staffer, a lobbyist, and two Capitol Police officers. All of the victims survived, though Scalise was seriously injured. Police officers shot and killed Hodgkinson in a gunfight.
Does anyone believe this is a coincidence? More importantly, if it isn’t a coincidence, isn’t this a threat of violence?
