I’m Not Watching The Made-for-TV J6 Show Trial Narrated By Hoaxers, Liars, and Leakers

There was a riot at the Capitol on January 6, 2021. No one other than Ashlie Babbit was killed, despite the lies repeated that several policemen were killed. The riot shouldn’t have happened, we’ve been clear about that from the start. But neither should the hundreds of violent riots by BLM. The J6 riot has been roundly condemned, but it’s been turned into a political cudgel, and that’s what this produced-for-TV prime time hearing is about.
The Committee and hearing are run by Russian-collusion hoaxers, liars, and leakers like Adam Schiff, and will be narrated by disinformation spreaders at MSNBC and elsewhere. The web of lies spread by government and mainstream liberal corporate media is so pervasive we are in a post-truth world, and key institutions like the FBI are part of that problem. Trust is gone.

The police will not and cannot protect you. And there is a massive effort underway to make sure you cannot defend yourself.
Joe Biden still hasn’t commented on the attempt to assassinate U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, and the story was barely covered by most mass media outlets. Democrats in the House (including those in control of J6 hearing) are slow walking funding to protect the Justices’ families, even though the Senate passed the measure unanimously. The southern border is effectively open, we have lost our sovereignty as a nation. Food prices and gas and other measures of inflation are out of control.
The national decline is deliberate, it’s intentional not negligent.
But sure, let’s forget about the gutting of the country and instead watch a charade worthy of Soviet propagandists. I’m not watching.

Had no intention of watching, didn’t watch. I’m not a fan of communist propaganda.
A slight correction is in order. During the J6 event, a woman lay unconscious and a police officer found her and beat her with his club. In watching the video, one might draw the conclusion that he killed her. The officer was identified but not disciplined. Her death was ruled a heart attack. 2 women died that day.
and despite the crowd an ex military person trying to save her. they dragged her away and quickly had her cremated. 2 crimes that day.
I believe it was a female officer who did the beating.
That’s what I remember, too.
I work with a lot of people who freely give their views on current events and news, and I haven’t heard one single person make any mention of these J6 hearings. Not a peep.
Lot of talk about inflation and the price of gas, though. Especially those who have a medium-to-long drive to work. Also lot of talk about the craziest liberal-left social trends like CRT and identity politics.
I consider the J6 hearings to be very valuable to give me the motivation to turn off the TV and do more productive things. Tonight I mowed my lawn.
USA channel is binging John Wick tonight opposite the J6 extravaganza.

I thought USA was a continuous stream of commercials with badly edited chunks of pieces of movie dropped in here and there.
Hmm. I stopped watching TV about 10 years ago, but when I did watch, USA constituted about half of my viewing. Has it really deteriorated that much?

Maybe Republicans should propose holding an investigation in Democrat-AntifaBLM terrorism and support. Which politicians financially supported attacks against America? Which actively colluded, which tried to downplay the terrorism, which engaged in propaganda?
Democrats have set the rules, now let Republicans persecute them with the same rules.
That would require a set of balls. The GOP is led by McConnell, McCarthy and others of similar disposition. Make of that what you will.
They’ve already signaled that they’re planning to investigate this phony “investigation”. Rodney Davis, who will probably be the next chairman of the House Administration Committee, has sent letters to this so-called J6 committee’s members and staff warning them to preserve all records so the HAC can look into them next year.
I remember “repeal and replace”. The GOP is comfortable as the minority–where they can complain and “demand” to their heart’s content with no fear of anything happening. They are great at “signaling” and “planning”. Action? Not so much.
Give them the majority–deer in headlights. Not to say that a GOP majority isn’t vastly preferable, but don’t expect much retaliation from them.
But hey, they only said they’d investigate, not that they’d do anything about it.
We can all see how this will play out. Missing records, destroyed phones, servers ‘wiped with a cloth’…

They have nothing. No evidence. Everything they thought they had has already been leaked. This is a circus for the media.
HOWEVER, it’s a very dangerous circus.

This is going to end with them trying to arrest Trump. They KNOW that they’re going to get slaughtered in 2022 and 2024 unless they go even more insane with fraud and steals, and they know they aren’t likely to get away with it a second time.
Their only way out is to ‘prove’ Trump is evil by arresting and convicting him.
I concur that arresting Trump is their ultimate end goal and they will stop at nothing to accomplish it. ( for many of the reasons you list)
I do not think they will accomplish it however. ( not due to lack of effort or desire)
Here’s why.
They have no Plan “B”. The left really believed that when they stole the election plus 6 months- everyone would fall in line and march to their drum into their socialist utopia.
That didn’t happen and she sheeple are starting to resist and its been growing.
The left does not have the support they thought they did.
The RINO/GOPe ( who enabled the steal and supported the left in ousting Trump) are now not helping the left because they see the score on Trump and his pull relative to their own and see the reality of losing both support and MONEY in their own ranks. Even Mittens has toned it down a bit as have a few other RINOs. They realize they are now in potential danger to lose their own standing as controlled opposition.
Also, they have a short window to arrest, prosecute and convict Trump ( even if they were to do it) before November and its shorter every day and they do not have the numbers necessary and they know it. (If they did, Trump would already be in irons)
They can’t arrest Trump because even if everything they allege were true he still wouldn’t have committed any crime. The most they can do, even if everything goes their way, is embarrass and discredit him.
However if they could find something to arrest and prosecute him for, they would not have to get it done by November or even January. They would have until January 2025. The House plays no role in prosecutions, remember. That’s the DOJ’s job, and that will remain in their hands until Jan 20 2025.

The only reason they didn’t assassinate Trump and the only reason they don’t arrest him now is because of armed and dangerous Americans. They are afraid of us as long as we are armed.

Lexington between Bedford and Nostrand. That’s not an area I would recommend going, even before things went crazy. Ten years ago I would have said it should be fine during the day, but be careful at night. Even three years ago I’d probably have said that. But nowadays I would be very hesitant to walk there even in broad daylight.
I started watching it, but what I was watching did not even resemble a hearing of any sort.

This would just be a rerun of any Soviet Purge trial. 1/6 was infiltrated and set up to be exploited. If any of the committee actually believes their propaganda then they are deluded. This eclipses McCarthyism just as Biden does Carter.

I hate to say it and wouldn’t wish it on anyone, but someone must watch this travesty. It cannot stand with comment only from the likes of Comcast (NBC Universal), Disney (ABC), Viacom-CBS (CBS), lately AT&T, now Discovery (CNN), and, of course, our very own PBS, the people’s propaganda outlet.
Informed comment and rebuttal must happen, it cannot be permitted to either go unanswered or to stand. Full disclosure, I tried several times and could stomach only two or three minutes each, dishonesty aside the dripping, pompous sanctimony was gut wrenching, it was simply wretched.
Pelosi has cleared the schedule to focus on these star chamber, kangaroo court show trials. This will be the only business for the House through November. Pelosi is the true insurrectionist. There are no two sides to any argument anymore. The only side we will be allowed to hear is the Nazi side. And the MSM will keep pounding this down the throats of their dwindling audiences non-stop. How can this not backfire on them?
Fortunately for us, Trump isn’t the only billionaire fighting this. He is the spearhead in the final effort to defeat tyranny (it’s here NOW) and it will take years to clean this up even if he prevails. Our entire government is compromised. I don’t even know how that is possible but it we have to hope it can be done without too many millions of us dying.

All, a little late now. I cancelled my 25 year subscription to National Review years ago when it’s editors opined that anyone questioning the bonafides of Obama’s birth certificate was beclowning himself.
An immediate and almost total news blackout came down on this topic even in conservative outlets. Everyone was afraid of being ostracized and labeled a nut. The good professor wrote he wasn’t much interested in the subject and many conservatives think the allegation is totally disproven.
When you stand by and let a man whose birth, academic record, travel record, government documentation, bar standing, sexual orientation go completely unexamined and allow him to become president twice, then ANYTHING is possible.
When will the J6 committee reveal why Ray Epps isn’t also in jail?

First, on birth certificates. I have my original. It establishes that a boy given my name was born in PA 78 years ago to a woman with my mother’s name. Nothing whatsoever that can be used to connect it to me. No footprints, fingerprints, no racial suppositions, nothing. Yet, it is required that I show it for such things as a passport, etc.
I have no memories of the event, could not testify in court as to its accuracy. All I know is what I have been told. Hearsay. I physically resemble both of my parents, but the birth certificate doesn’t prove anything.
I think Obama played the whole thing masterfully. He had the MSM, and most others, fully on his side. It was a classic Orwellian “thought crime” to question it. Who were the) police officers that “committed suicide” after the 1/6 “insurrection”? Where were they and what were their duties that day? Were they the ones opening the doors or involved with the prior days’ security? What interaction with Pelosi and Dem staff leading up to 1/6? One of the first duties after 1/6 would be to clean up any loose strings ard loose lips if this was an inside job to seal the steal of 11/2020.
