World Swimming Coaches Association: “Trans females cannot compete fairly with biological females”

World Swimming Coaches Association: “Trans females cannot compete fairly with biological females”

“the inclusion of transgender people into female sport cannot be balanced with fairness due to the retained differences in strength, stamina and physique”

One of the possible fixes they float here is a trans division. That would be better than what’s happening now.

Swimming World reports:

WSCA Releases Position on Transgender Swimming ‘Inclusion, Fairness Cannot Coexist in Current Model’

The World Swimming Coaches Association (WSCA) has released its position statement on transgender swimming.

It has been a year of debate with this issue within the sport, especially with the emergence of NCAA champion Lia Thomas. Many scientists and experts have weighed in.

The WSCA’s position is that the competitive balance of women’s swimming cannot be ensured with transgender athletes, though the group maintains its commitment to find a way to include transgender swimmers in a fair way, according to the report, which could eventually lead to a Trans Division.

“For the sport of swimming, the inclusion of transgender people on the grounds of fairness cannot co-exist in the current competitive model. Swimming should choose to offer competition in which the female category is protected for reasons of competitive fairness. … The World Swimming Coaches Association (WSCA) has an unequivocal agenda for the sport of swimming to be experienced in an environment where everyone can partake in the sport and where everyone is treated with both dignity and respect,” the report reads. “However, the inclusion of transgender people into female sport cannot be balanced with fairness due to the retained differences in strength, stamina and physique that are present when comparing the average female with the average transgender female/non-binary person who was assigned male at birth (whether with or without the involvement of testosterone suppression). This is the primary factor to be considered in an endeavour to balance fairness with inclusion.”

The WSCA said a possible solution is to create a Trans Division.

“Trans females cannot compete fairly with biological females; however, providing them with the competition that is predominantly that of competing against biological males becomes unfair to the Trans female. It is the exact mirror image for the Trans Male….”

Shocking. Who could have guessed?

To quote another famous gender bender, “What difference, at this point, does it make?”

It’s like the Soviet Union deciding that communism (never mind “world communism”) doesn’t work after all — after 80 years of violently imposing it on others.

We refer the entire cowardly collegiate swimming establishment to the definition of sympathy — which they will find in the dictionary somewhere between shit and syphilis.

Just remove the psychobabble, mumbo jumbo. IMO simply put, it is C-H-E-A-T-I-N-G. Everyone understands that.

A Trans division would be fine, but are there enough people to hold a race in at least most categories? What would they do if only one person signed up for a race? Automatically award that person the win?

Also, would it be open to anyone claiming to be trans, or only to those who are verifiably taking hormone treatment?

The female division is open to anyone claiming to be female, so … . Eventually, this whole “I’m a woman because I say I am and you must accept and celebrate my choice” charade will end and people who bought into it will wonder what they were thinking. Men shouldn’t get to dictate who is a woman, and that’s what “trans females” — who remain male no matter how much they mutilate and chemically alter themselves to become facsimiles of women — are doing, in and out of the pool.

“A Trans division would be fine, but are there enough people to hold a race in at least most categories?”

So what. There’s no division open to midgets either.

Exactly. If there were enough midgets they’d make one for them, but there aren’t, so the few midgets interested in competing are stuck. Sad, but what other choice is there? So the same can be said about trans people; it’s all very well proposing them having their own division, and if there are enough of them then let’s do it, but I doubt there are enough, and you can’t run a sporting competition without enough competitors to make it an actual competition.

        Right.

But the school districts with the aid of NEA and AFT are diligently working on this very issue…By the time today’s 5th & 6th graders are in H.S / College at the rate transgender programs are being indoctrinated to students in the elementary grades, school districts will have produced enough young people under the time of one generation to have qualifying young athletes to fill competitive squads with need to break out into divisions at the college level. When all is settled the next issue is when the Bot’s start wanting their own classification because Transgenders will feel it’s just not fair.

If they do this, they had better understand that they can no longer justify rejecting my annual proposal for a Dwarf Bowling league.

No need. It’s ridiculous to kowtow to delusion.
Biology.
Male
Female
The end.

If they make a trans division, won’t they need transfemale and transmale divisions? So do they just need to go back to their original sex to compete? (full circle!)
