Racist Posters Left on Door of Asian Harvard Student Who is President of Undergraduate Council

Is this just another campus hoax? Are we to believe there are racists stalking the campus of Harvard University?

Harvard student groups condemn anti-Asian attack on council president
A number of student-led groups are speaking out after two posters containing racist messages were stuck on the door of Michael Cheng, president of the undergraduate council of Harvard University, on Monday.
At least two dozen student groups, including the Task Force for Asian American Progressive Advocacy and Studies, the Harvard Korean Association and Harvard Dharma, have signed a letter in support of Cheng.
The posters, viewed by NBC Asian America, used anti-Asian racial slurs and said “Save the UC,” referring to an undergraduate council election. They were posted on the dorm room door of Cheng, who is Asian American.
The incident follows a heated undergraduate council presidential election, in which he was elected president.
“It’s disappointing that I feel desensitized to all this noise, even though this is just objectively racist,” Cheng told The Harvard Crimson, which reported the news first.
Following the incident, he is also requesting an apology from the alleged harassers.
Cheng didn’t respond to NBC News’ requests for comment.
Angie Shin, a co-president of the Harvard-Radcliffe Asian American Women’s Association, said she felt the incident was an attempt to curtail spaces that are safe for people of color.
“It was a direct attack at what any community should normally strive to hold, which is that people of color matter and their places of rest matter,” she said.

Just like TV news departments that call elections with 2% of the vote tallied, I will call this one.
It’s either a self-inflicted hoax, or a 13%-er did it.
I will bet it’s not self-inflicted, and is probably a genuine hate crime from someone in a category that benefits from the discrimination against Asians, and that is the source for most anti-Asian hate speech and hate crimes in this country.
I’m betting it came from the Asian student union types.
It’s possible, but I’d bet against it. Just considering the odds, I think there are more black students at Harvard who would do this than there are Asian ones.
There are no Asians. They are whites in the view of the school. Just look for the epicanthic folds to be sure.
At Harvard, where the target is “asian,” actual racism seems quite plausible. But my money is still on it being a hoax.

Before I answer, tell me if you believe it’s possible for a black to be a racist.
On the other hand, it’s quite possible in this case that racism is just an intimidation tool being used by entrenched political hacks — a modern-day KKK, so to speak. Cheng wants to be a broom, and the caked-on filth objects strongly.

Somehow no one ever sees who puts this crap up.
My guesses in order of likelihood:
1. Placed by an African American or Latino student.
2. Placed by the student themselves or one of their compatriots.
3. Placed by a White student.
Unless #3 is a “crazy white chick,” then it rises higher.
