Now the White House Says Putin Will Invade Ukraine ‘Any Day Now’

Russia cannot invade Ukraine because Russia invaded Ukraine in March 2014. Russia still has Crimea. Even the AP admits it, but added the truth at the bottom of the article:

Russia and Ukraine have been locked in a bitter conflict since 2014, when Ukraine’s Kremlin-friendly leader was driven from office by a popular uprising. Moscow responded by annexing Crimea and then backing a separatist insurgency in eastern Ukraine, where fighting has killed over 14,000 people.A 2015 peace deal brokered by France and Germany helped halt large-scale battles, but regular skirmishes have continued, and efforts to reach a political settlement have stalled.

Also, the Cold War never ended. The frostiness between Russia and the West never went away.

But we can’t let the truth interfere with the narrative, right? It seems that for months it seems when bad news pops up for Biden the administration warns that Russia will invade Ukraine.

Democratic governors dropping mandates like flies, leaving behind Biden and the CDC. The Canadian Freedom Convoy receives more and more support every day. Inflation remains at a record high.

I’m not surprised that the White House declared that Russia will invade Ukraine ANY DAY NOW.

What a vague warning. I guess you have to keep it vague so when it doesn’t happen they can say:

The White House said it still didn’t know if Russian President Vladimir Putin had made a decision to invade, but it said Putin has assembled all the elements to do so quickly and told Americans in Ukraine to leave within the next 48 hours. The stark warning accelerated the projected timeframe for a potential invasion, which many analysts believed was unlikely to start until after the Winter Olympics in China end on Feb. 20. The heightened U.S. rhetoric followed new intelligence that showed another increase in Russian troops near the Ukrainian border and the start of a major Russian military exercise in neighboring Belarus.“We can’t pinpoint the day at this point, and we can’t pinpoint the hour, but that is a very, very distinct possibility,” President Joe Biden’s national security adviser Jake Sullivan said. ”The strong possibility of action, the distinct possibility of action, in a relatively near term time frame … is backed up by our view of what’s happening on the ground.”“We continue to see signs of Russian escalation, including new forces arriving at the Ukrainian border,” he added, ramping up the urgency of earlier U.S. warnings. “As we’ve said before, we are in the window when an invasion could begin at any time should Vladimir Putin decide to order it.”

Say something happens. What will we do? Sullivan said the U.S. would respond “with devastating economic and trade sanctions.”

What about troops and soldiers? They will go to the countries around Ukraine:

The Pentagon will send 3,000 paratroopers from the 82 Airborne Division to Poland in the coming days as the prospect for a Russian invasion of Ukraine appears to grow, a U.S. senior defense official confirmed to Fox News on Friday.”At the direction of the President, Secretary Austin today ordered to Poland the remaining 3,000 soldiers of the 82nd Airborne Infantry Brigade Combat Team based at Fort Bragg, N.C.,” the official said. “These troops will depart Fort Bragg over the next couple days. They are expected to be in place by early next week.”This group, the second batch of soldiers being sent to Poland, will join the 1,700 soldiers and key enablers that Austin ordered there on February 2nd.
