Curry College to go Virtual on Tuesday Because of ‘Hateful Symbols’ Found on Campus

“hate has no home here and we will take every step possible to identify the perpetrator(s)”

Is this just another campus hoax? We’ve seen this happen so many times.

FOX 25 in Boston reports:

Curry College plans to go virtual next Tuesday following ‘hateful symbols and threats’ on campus

Friday morning, Curry College confirmed it plans to move to remote learning on Tuesday, Feb. 22, until Wednesday, Fe. 23.

School officials told Boston 25 News that during the time classes are virtual, all campus offices and dormitories will remain open. This decision follows after a series of “hateful symbols and threats” appeared on the Milton campus.

Curry College has announced a $10,000 reward for information connected to the latest incidents that have happened on campus.

“We cannot say enough: hate has no home here and we will take every step possible to identify the perpetrator(s) and maintain the safety of our community. Curry College is an inclusive community where embracing differences is essential to creating a safe and welcoming environment for exploration and learning, as well as personal and professional growth. It is, therefore, both enormously disheartening and disturbing that our school community continues to be violated by hateful symbols and threats.”

There has also been increased security at Curry College after school leaders and police first reported a message that targeted the Black community.

It’s a black troublemaker.
Now give me the $10K, and get back to class.
