Princeton freshmen forced to view video about university’s ‘systemic racism’

If Princeton is indeed a racist university with racist policies, it is likely violating any number of federal laws and must be investigated immediately.
The purpose of the video was to grapple with “systemic racism and Princeton University,” according to the video’s subtitle, but it’s been criticized as painting a “one-sided and negative picture of Princeton’s history” as well as “indoctrination.”
The video was organized as a commentary on a “virtual gallery” detailing racism at the Ivy League university with chapters on “Activism and Intersectionality”; “Race and Free Speech”; “Anti-Racism Resources and Actions”; and “Visions for a More Just World.”

Once more, any student with brains would pirate this video and have a lawyer file it with federal DOJ and DOE as evidence in a racism complaint.

Dean Buck, who is in charge of Diversity and Inclusion within the Office of the VP for Campus Life, promised that “equity of experience is also essential.” How does one achieve “equity of experience” between the captain of the football team and its other members? Between the President of the IFC and its other members? Does she make everyone take turns at being President or Team Captain for one day each? If I am on a losing sports team, how will Dean Buck give me the equity of experience compared with the members of Princeton’s winning sports teams (assuming that any can win)? (Since she did not define her frame of reference, how about giving me the equity of experience compared with being on Notre Dame’s football or basketball teams? I like playing basketball, so can I demand the “equity of experience” comparable to a 7’0″ tall varsity player. It is “essential” to my Princeton education, so you should give it to me along with my full-ride scholarship. Will Princeton lobby the other Ivy League schools to promise equal outcomes in place of fair rules of competition?
She claims that there is a “racialized history at Princeton.” Ok, but how and when will the incoming students learn about the more important part — the race neutral history of Princeton?
The video promotes a website called knownandheard.princeton.edu Of course the propaganda value of a 50 min video is minimal, so students were required to hold a small group discussion led by their orientation counselors following the video.
