Biden’s Pre-Recorded 9/11 Statement Was Weird and Disturbing

The Biden 9/11 video depicts Joe Biden purportedly addressing America on and about the 20th anniversary of 9/11, but it has a weird “found footage” vibe that is deeply disconcerting.

I have just watched the single most strange and disturbing video I’ve ever seen. As LI readers know, I am a bit prone to hyperbole, but I am not being hyperbolic here. This Biden video intended to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of 9/11 is an unmitigated disaster.

The Biden 9/11 video depicts Joe Biden purportedly addressing America on and about the 20th anniversary of 9/11, but it has a weird “found footage” vibe that is deeply disconcerting.

The video is alarming.

Watch (WARNING: this is creepy and strange and resembles not only “found footage” horror films but innumerable hostage videos):

This video is shocking and clearly demonstrates that Slow Sleepy Groping Joe is completely out of his depth.

Biden is ashen in this video (maybe ashen is the new black?), he’s confused and dazed, and he’s rambling utter nonsense. The cuts between frames/footage are jarring. We have doddering, watery-eyed Joe facing the camera saying one thing, snip, we have contentious Joe railing at the camera from a different angle. Snip, we have Joe weird-whispering about . . . really, who cares?

The man in this video couldn’t manage a 10-year-old’s lemonade stand, let alone play life guard at a pool while letting black children play with his leg hair. God forbid the man in this video act as president of our great republic and as our military’s Commander in Chief. And yet, there he is, in all his deeply disturbing glory.

For all the world to see.

I’m dating myself here, but watching this weird video with Hostage in Chief Creepy Sleepy Slow Joe uttering the words he’s been told to say against a blurry backdrop, all I could think of (after hostage videos) was that weird animatronic head that would proclaim, “I want my MTV.”

Visually, this video is not only dated (to the early 1980’s) but truly horrific. It looks like Biden’s image has been thoughtlessly pasted into each and every scene by a precocious child who just learned the copy and paste function.

The blurry backdrop is . . . weird. And disconcerting. There’s this strange visual of Biden superimposed on–seeming to float on, sort of 3-D–a weird out-of-focus background. It’s a strange choice since it makes him look even less “real” and “down to earth” and “compassionate” than he already does (i.e. not at all).

Indeed, this technique makes him look like some kind of out-of-touch politician who lives in his own special bubble, untouched by the real world or the real problems and concerns of actual voters (all a blur to Biden).

Honestly, I couldn’t even hear what Biden was saying while viewing this horrific video. I had to let it run in a separate tab so I could hear his remarks on this, the twentieth anniversary of 9/11.

I wish I hadn’t bothered. What he says is even more disturbing and off-putting than the bizarre visuals. Both portray a “leader” with zero leadership ability and a “president” who is functioning not only without the consent of the governed but without a clue.

Everything you have noticed is designed to make it look more normal. The background is intended to make it harder to see the cuts as the video was spliced together from many different takes.

The many different “Joes” you saw was because he couldn’t stay on script and his affect varied drastically over time, as the meds kicked in or wore off, or as it got closer to sundown, when he changes all on his own.

It must have been sheer hell for the people trying to get Joe through this video. Good. As long as they continue this crazy attempt to con the world into thinking Joe Biden is a functional human being (president?!?) they deserve all the stress-related symptoms they get from it.

I count at least 73 cuts in the 6 minute and 23 second video. That is an average of a cut ever 5. and 1/4 seconds – a frequency that is noticeable to the average viewer and is perceived as choppy. I think you’re right that they must have done many takes and had to heavily edit the video.

henrybowman in reply to Ben Kent. | September 11, 2021 at 7:07 pm

They should have just done a deepfake. Then they would have needed only one take.

Why would you give them ideas like that?

I’m not convinced deep fakes would have worked well. You still have to train the algorithm, and to make it seem like Current Joe, you would have to use current material. Even then, the results will likely be stilted, and have weird digital artifacts (although these would probably still be less creepy than IRL Current Joe, or possibly even IRL Joe From Any Time).

I have been wanting to do a series of Deep Fake Max Headroom Joe Teaches Austrian Economics; if I had the time to do this, I think it would be hilarious — in no small part because the last person I would expect to teach Austrian Economics would be Creepy Sleepy Joe. In some ways, I’m also surprised someone hasn’t done a Max Headroom Joe parody yet …. but maybe that’s just me, who thinks Joe is Max Headroom.

Having said that, I actually appreciated the message in this speech … but I couldn’t help but think that, in terms of content, someone stole my “Have Joe teach principles he doesn’t believe in” idea, and managed to get ahold of Joe himselt to implement it!

This IS the deepfake. That’s the reason for the blurry background. The cuts are there because so much of deepfakes turn out to be obvious fakes instead of deepfakes. These are the shots that looked real enough.

That would be fun to see Joe morphing to Tom Cruise and back again!

The jump cuts were highly distracting.

JLT in reply to irv. | September 11, 2021 at 9:06 pm

I was getting dizzy from all the intercuts.

Lucifer Morningstar in reply to JLT. | September 12, 2021 at 11:39 am

I was getting nauseous. The whole thing reminded me of a freshman movie school class project – one that should never have seen the light of day let alone be broadcast across the nation. Whomever thought that this was a good idea should be immediately fired – but I bet that won’t happen.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to Lucifer Morningstar. | September 12, 2021 at 2:41 pm

In freshman film class, that’s “edgy”, “nouveau”, “cinémà vêrītę” or something.

His whole administration thus far reminds of a freshman Friday night bull session in the dorm. That’s the level of mentality purporting to run this nation.

Of course this person isn’t going to get fired! We have generals who completely bungled the withdrawl from Afghanistan, who should have either corrected Pretendant Biden’s disastrous plan, or resigned in protest to refuse to implement such a disaster, who not only continue to work for this administration, but even defend what they did.

What’s a choppy, creepy video, compared to that?

William Carey in reply to irv. | September 11, 2021 at 9:23 pm

I’d bet the greatest concern for this production was his voice cadence. They must have spent much time working on that in order to make the splices less jarring.

First splice at the 13 second mark (pointing finger to interlaced fingers), next at the 48 second mark (body shifting to stock still), next at the 1:12 mark (stock still to shifting body), next at the 2:23 mark (body shifting to stock still), next at the 5:34 mark (hand gesture drops too suddenly), next at the 5:53 mark (hand gesture drops too suddenly). These splices are subtle, but, I believe, are real.

If you ever saw “The Three Doctor’s” episode of Doctor Who, this reminds me of how they had to handle William Hartnell’s Doctor.

He’d already been having issues when he was still the Doctor. As I recall, they were bad enough that it is was prompted the producers to come up with the idea of regeneration in the first place. By the time they were doing the Three Doctors, all he could handle was sitting in a chair reading cue cards.

TERRIBLE IRONY AND DISHONOR TO THE FALLEN

The irony of a 9/11 commemoration when we have just allowed the people who were co-conspirators in the worst terrorist attack in history to return to power with $80 billion of U.S. military equipment and in a hasty retreat that was botched in every possible way.

The attempt to commemorate this day or to honor the fallen – in light of how the Biden administration has destroyed all we fought against for 20 years – is a slap in the face of every gold-star military family and the family of every one of those who perished on 1/11 and every other American.

RESIGN — Biden and his Sec Def, Chair of Joint-Chiefs (COJC), Sec State and everyone else involved in this debacle must resign. That is the only way to restore honor to the fallen.

Biden has reached the stage in his Alzheimers progression where there will be few if any more live speeches. From now on it will mostly be pre-recorded shit like this.

Do you hear that clacking noise coming from behind? That’s Kamala Harris chomping at the bit.

I suspect that the only reason why Democrats resort to this, is they know in their heart of hearts that Kamala Harris will be a disaster of a President, and they want to postpon that for as long as they can.

Of course, if there’s one thing that the disaster of the Afghanistan withdrawl did, was to confirm my suspicions that it’s not any one Democrat Presidental Candidate who’s a disaster — it’s the entire Democratic Party.

So, whether it’s Kamala Harris, or Nancy Pelosi, or Pat Leahy, or anyone from the President’s Cabinet (who might very well test the claim that I’ve seen floating around, that Constitutionally, members of the Legislature cannot be in the Presidential line of succession — the Constitution implies that “officers” necessarily have to be Executive officers), I cannot see anyone who would not be a disaster.

At this point, I don’t care: Pretendant Biden is a disaster, he’s proven to be a disaster, and he should be removed. If Kamala Harris proves to be even more of a disaster, or heck, even just somewhat less of a disaster, we should remove her, too, and continue down the line until we get to someone who isn’t a disaster, or get to an election, whichever comes first.

“Of course, if there’s one thing that the disaster of the Afghanistan withdrawl did, was to confirm my suspicions that it’s not any one Democrat Presidental Candidate who’s a disaster — it’s the entire Democratic Party.”

With very few exceptions (Tulsi Gabbard come to mind), totally agree. This also includes a hefty percentage of their base.

The next problem is: there is much wrong with the Republican Party also and a hefty percentage of their base. The Paul Ryans, Mitch McConnell leadership side, and the Mitt Romney, John McCain useless on everything except war side.

It May not be a viable theory but, here’s mine. Remove Biden. KH pres. she put Susan Rice in as VP, rid of KH Susan Rice pres, she makes Rahm Emmanuel VP, BHO conducts The Orchestra.

What is with the back and forth camera change?
A canned message my guess is because the puppet masters don’t want him near a live microphone.

Multiple cameras recording. That way when they make a cut or a paste, they switch to a different camera so it doesn’t look so bad. Still, every five seconds?

And the other question — why only two cameras? It would have been a little bit less jarring if they had also switched to his left side occasionally.

I’d ask why they never faded from one shot to another, but to ask the question is to answer it, almost — if they are splicing shots to make it look smooth, they cannot fade from one position to another, because it would expose the splicing even more.

Biden showed how he honored those that perished on 9-11 with his cowardly withdrawal of Afghanistan and those Americans left behind.

Biden is a disgrace.

And remember 20 years of keeping Islam in Afghanistan under watch is gone and the tax payer arming of the Taliban has been accomplished, now bigger and better than they were 20 years ago.
By next year at this time terrorist attacks from Afghanistan will start.

Our Taliban President praising the “religion of peace” while feeding us even more “America is evil” crap.

“W” Bush didn’t distinguish himself today either referring to today’s domestic threat of violence and you can bet he didn’t mean Islamic terrorists either.

Come back Trump!!!

Well, W didn’t distinguish himself back in the day, either. Remember stories of a jet traveling around, collecting members of the House of Saud? And he allowed the Taliban to flee into Pakistan, where we wouldn’t pursue them.

Islam is not a religion of peace. It is a political force disguised as a religion. They are interested in Christians and Jews being trampled underfoot.

No, he didn’t mean Islamic terrorists, but I don’t see how anyone can think he meant the incident on Jan 6. In the absence of a direct statement by him indicating otherwise, it seems obvious that he was referring to Antifa, BLM, and the violent section of the pink-hat brigade.

All I can say is that I hope he doesn’t take up fiddle playing.

Max Headroom. Probably a CGI rendering they are working on.

He didn’t even try to make a fake sincerity eye connection with his remote audience. Just Joe and his Teleprompter. Very bizarre.

That is just creepy. As solemn an occasion as it gets and Biden breaks away from his entourage to…… smell a little girl? This is a creepy old man who has no idea where he is, why he is there, and simply cannot control his base impulses. Gets creepier if you watch it multiple times.

I’ll be damned if it isn’t the mainstream media pulling his strings.

As if Biden that wasn’t bad enough…

Of all days to pick for a ‘Republican’ ex-president to compare Trump supporters to 9/11 terrorists.

For all intents and purposes GWB completed his transformation into a despicable Democrat today. If there was any doubt about what he really was before there is none now. He deceived me. And many others.

I now regret every vote I have ever cast for a ‘Republican’ for president from 1988 thru 2012. Never again will I vote for Republicans just because they are the lesser of two evils.

It didn’t do any good from 1988 thru 2012. No reason to expect it would do any good moving forward. Quite the contrary, actually.

The establishment wing of the R and D parties are essentially the same. They believe the people are to be ruled. They do not believe they work for the people.

Trump is a populist. Populists believe the government works for the people, just as the founding intended it to be.

Establishment types HATE the Populists. They join forces (D & R ) to block Populists. That’s why the Bushes hate Trump. And also because Jeb Bush was destroyed by Trump in the 2016 debates. Jeb thought he would just walk into the nomination.

        gran2ten in reply to Titan28. | September 13, 2021 at 3:25 pm

Never here negative (very little if any) regarding this ONE MAN. Who still has great popularity with the press? Who is still revered in the public majority? Who today could be REELECTED PRESIDENT with much adoration? Who’s skin color could provide him with credibility in the eyes of majority of Americans. Who could have positive Islamic leanings? Who can persuade & relate and is honored by Congress today? Who despises WITH a deep seething of our way of life? Who despises Biden but has sway over him? Who has a blood-thirsty desire to humiliate DJT & maybe Biden as well? Who has great charisma, soft-spoken, gets no dirt on himself, very personable? And, even Bush who’s always been a PANSY and other previous president’s would defer to? This person has Biden in his CLAWS, when Biden has done the dirty work, and the music has died, THE CONDUCTOR WILL SURVIVE.

I base my evaluation of W not on what the AP has said about him (I have not been exposed to any AP stories one way or the other about W’s speech) but on what I have seen of he has said himself.

YMMV, but I think this is a reasonable conclusion that anyone who’s seen W’s words can make.

      GWB Statement on 1/6 “events”:
“I am appalled by the reckless behavior of some political leaders since the election and by the lack of respect shown today for our institutions, our traditions, and our law enforcement,” Bush continued. “The violent assault on the Capitol — and disruption of a Constitutionally-mandated meeting of Congress — was undertaken by people whose passions have been inflamed by falsehoods and false hopes. Insurrection could do grave damage to our Nation and reputation.”

“In the United States of America, it is the fundamental responsibility of every patriotic citizen to support the rule of law,” Bush added. “To those who are disappointed in the results of the election: Our country is more important than the politics of the moment. Let the officials elected by the people fulfill their duties and represent our voices in peace and safety.”

Interesting use of the word “insurrection.” He also called the event “violent.” It was more peaceful than the “mostly peaceful” BLM events of last summer.

      What he said on 9/11:
“We have seen growing evidence that the dangers to our country can come not only across borders, but from violence that gathers within,” Bush said. “There is little cultural overlap between violent extremists abroad and violent extremists at home.”

“But in their disdain for pluralism, in their disregard for human life, in their determination to defile national symbols, they are children of the same foul spirit. And it is our continuing duty to confront them,” he continued.

If he’s talking about people like Nidal Hassan, James Hodgkinson, Sayfullo Saipov, and Alton Nolen he would have a point.

Lots of veterans concluded that he was talking about the alleged extremists in the US Military or the 1/6 capitol mayhem. Others hoped he was calling out the BLM-racist extremism. Since he did not specify, he could mean any of the above.

The production value was weak. What else from a pre-recorded Biden performance. They try too hard to emulate the “West Wing” and usually fail.

Worse was the message. Based on performance, the words were empty. The “Big Lie” is unity.

You’d think the West Wing producers would have been happy to pitch in on this effort, even do it for free. Maybe the faculty lounge surrounding Biden didn’t think of asking.

The troops are not the one’s you should be asking God to protect – it’s the citizens that you abandoned that need God’s help – because they surely will not be getting help from your administration. Biden must RESIGN.

Well, of courses it’s a disjointed mess. They probably had to shoot numerous takes of the speech from various angles and then splice bits and pieces of it together to make a coherent, if very creepy and strange, whole.

Typical of the right, take a moment where the US should be thinking the same thing and then try and pretend it’s got something wrong with it. Who the hell cares if the filming is poor, it’s about remembering 9/11 and the victims. Yes fuzzy you are hyperbolic and this is the same nonsense.

7/11 Never forget.

Question 1: is Davis real or fake? Many Biden personal stories he’s told over the years with the upmost sincerity have been proven to be false. With the great Biden reset in Afghanistan, we are now where we were on Sept 10, 2001, just with a bigger surveillance state. The terrorists have done what they’ve always done in that part of the world — wait until the superpower lose their appetite for occupation, then they come out of their hiding place and reclaim what was theirs.

Yes, that was the first question in my mind too. I think in the absence of evidence to the contrary we must assume “Davis” is invented.

Any political statement intended to be of great moment and inspiration is weird. This just seems weirder because everybody’s looking for signs of dementia rather than the expected faked sincerity, so the faked sincerity comes across as unusually faked faked sincerity.

Usually political judgment is based on whether the faked sincerity is good for your tribe or bad for it. What you fake determines which tribe you are.

This was so obviously shot in brief takes to allow him to rest and regroup between shots, rather than have to continue after he had reached his physical and mental limits

Pathetic..

Anyone need help falling asleep? I’m setting up an 800 number for insomniacs … all you have to do is dial 1-800-TO-SLEEP, and you’ll be connected to an audio recording of Biden’s 9/11 speech playing on continuous loop. Guaranteed to put you to sleep within minutes!!!

Seriously, that was the most soporific Presidential speech I’ve ever heard. I was overcome with uncontrollable yawning less than a minute into it!

Unity? I am so confused. I thought diversity was our greatest strength?

    thalesofmiletus in reply to stylin19. | September 13, 2021 at 8:42 am

Well, “Diversity” means replacing you with immigrants from the third world.
“Unity” means doing whatever the oligarchs say, when they say it.
    Together, that’s “America”.

Just remember that when Democrats call for “diversity” they mean “variation in skin tones and reproductive act preferences” but insist that they all think the same (and, in particular, that Democrats should be in charge of everything) and it will all make sense.

Having watched a portion, I am not masochistic, I am more convinced that Joe Biden truly is the best and the brightest that the democrat party has to offer.

I am always and forever amazed at the Marxocrat’s ability to bald-face lie out both sides of their two-faced mouths, without even a HINT of irony or chagrin.

Their talent for scheming skullduggery sinks to new, previously unplumbed depths…on a daily basis.

Indeed. As I watched the disaster we call “the Afghanistan Pullout” roll out, I had reached the conclusion that I cannot lay the disaster solely at the feet of Pretendant Biden: it was a disaster of his Cabinet, of the Generals in charge, and of the Democratic Party in general.

The President isn’t just the President, but an Administration. There should have been multiple layers that should have prevented this disaster. They all failed us.

I blame the Democratic Party and their anti-American philosophy first of all. I blame incompetent government bureaucracy second. Pretendant Biden is merely the figurehead of all of this.

Notice the full college football stadiums with the students chanting ‘f^ck Joe Biden’ at major universities around the country this weekend.

The entire Biden administration is full of lying cockroaches like Susan Rice and other Obamaphiles, plus the new wokes like SecDef Austin, JCOS chair Milley, Buttigieg the wife, and winkin’ Blinken, the alleged Sec of State, plus Merrick Garland the unprincipled AG, whose non-SCOTUS appointment we owe great gratitude to McConnell.

I fear we have not yet hit bottom. We need a coup d’etat to save the Republic. Then a separation into two countries. The present Union is not worth it.

I love all the talk about unity and the uniqueness of America from a person whose party and supporters spend all their time dividing everybody into as many subgroups as possible all pitted against each other vying for victimhood supremacy and who constantly preach that the country was founded by evil white men and built on the twin sins of slavery and capitalism with no hope for redemption.

Note the fundamentally dishonest, anodyne, sanitized characterization invoked by vile Xi-den, stating that lives were “lost.” Lives weren’t “lost.” That’s a euphemistic and passive way to describe mass murder. You “lose” someone to disease or illness. 2,977 Americans from all walks of life were murdered by Muslim terrorists who were dutifully following their ideology’s supremacist, totalitarian, belligerent and hate-filled tenets directing them to wage war against non-Muslims.

And, the vile Dhimmi-crats have long refused to have an honest accounting of the ideology of “Submission’s” glaring, intrinsic pathologies and the threat that they pose to secular democracies, choosing instead to whitewash, rationalize, enable and excuse Submission’s pathologies and to rationalize and excuse the vicious, evil conduct of millions of its most fervent adherents, worldwide.

How inspiring …………………….. NOT!!!!

FJB praises people for “giving their whole soul” to Not-God?
