‘Up to 1,000’ Migrants Held by Border Patrol Under Texas Bridge
“This is the largest group of migrants we’ve ever seen held by [the] Border Patrol under [the] Anzalduas Bridge in Mission, TX.”

Fox News reporter Bill Melugin posted a video of Border Patrol agents processing up to 1,000 people under a texas bridge.
“This is the largest group of migrants we’ve ever seen held by [the] Border Patrol under [the] Anzalduas Bridge in Mission, TX,” tweeted Melugin. “Looks like it could be up to 1,000 people.”
Melugin said they could only look at the people via a drone.
“There’s a popular Rio Grande crossing area nearby,” added Melugin.

NEW: Our FOX drone is currently over Anzalduas Bridge in Mission, TX where a massive group of hundreds of migrants are waiting to be processed out in the heat. Local Border Patrol stations in the McAllen area are extremely over capacity. Over 3,000 in one day on Friday. @FoxNews pic.twitter.com/IRwttFGkuF

Melugin has tweeted numerous photos and videos from the Anzaldus Bridge. He has not seen many Border Patrol agents or vehicles because the government needs their help to process all of the migrants.
Just landed in Texas, drove straight over to La Joya, and as usual, already 100+ migrants apprehended here in this one spot. More being picked up by Border Patrol and driven over here. Will be here all week for @FoxNews as the border crisis continues to only get worse. pic.twitter.com/n4znZKiB7H

We have only seen one Border Patrol vehicle so far in La Joya today. A DHS contact tells me BP is so overrun in the Rio Grande Valley, most agents are being pulled from the field to help with processing of families, leaving few, if any agents patrolling in some areas. @FoxNews

The bridge is somewhat near Hidalgo and McAllen.
Fox News Reported on July 31 that Border Patrol agents took over 800 migrants into custody in 24 hours:
On Tuesday, agents near La Grulla, Texas first encountered 336 migrants, eight of which were unaccompanied children, according to the Border Patrol.
“Many within the group suffered from dehydration and exhaustion,” the agency said in a statement, adding that the majority of the migrants were from Guatemala. “Border Patrol Emergency Medical Technicians responded and provided medical assistance to those in need before being sent to the hospital for further treatment.”
Then later that night, McAllen Border Patrol Station agents found 509 migrants traveling in a group near Hidalgo, Texas, comprising of “331 family members, 115 unaccompanied children, and 63 single adults.”
“These apprehensions account for the single largest group apprehended thus far, this year,” the Border Patrol said, noting that the migrants hailed from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Ecuador and Venezuela.
Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) visited McAllen on July 31.
…It’s over 100 degrees. The 2 stations have combined capacity of 620 – holding 7000! From Agent with over 2-1/2 decades of service – “they are way past capacity – so aliens sit outside because where do you take them? …it’s a nightmare – people want to go to bathroom… (2/5)

And they will
Keep coming and coming amd coming
As always, the question that remains unanswered is: “how did they get there?”
It’s a 1500 mile walk from Guatemala to Texas. These folks didn’t walk. Who paid to transport, feed, water, and protect them? Who paid off the Mexican authorities? Answer those questions and you’ll know why we have a thousand migrants under a bridge.
Winner, winner, chicken dinner, my friend.
They’ll do lots of photo ops of them walking, but as soon as the cameras are off, they hop on conveniently placed buses. Who’s paying?
Bonus Question – How are the supposedly dirt poor central Americans paying $5,000 to $20,000 each to the Cartels coyotes to get them across the border?
Hope everyone has their life preserver within reach, because this ship is sinking and there’s nothing that can be done to stop it at this point.
RIP, U.S.A.
I’ve been floating in the water for sometime now. Couldn’t get on the life boat, they were full of migrants.
Instead of a life preserver how about ditching a metro area for a multi acre rural property with a well, stocked ponds, gardens, orchard in a red county in a red state? One with friendly but sparse neighbors who don’t poke into your life but are always ready to led a hand as long as you reciprocate.
Nice and quiet. Good exercise, fresh air. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to do move back to a rural area.
Those are illegal aliens that got caught.
How many get away and disappear into the US for every one that’s caught?
And how many who are caught are released into the US shortly after, with a future court date well into the future? A court date most will never show up for.
Need to do a quick check of other bridges along the border. I’ll bet there are illegal trolls hiding out everywhere.
HOW TO UNDERMINE A COUNTRY – IN 5 EASY STEPS
1, Borrow Trillions –
And be sure to far exceed the leverage to GDP that sunk Greece.
2. Open Borders –
create an underclass of new, poor, racially and culturally different ppl who do not have time to assimilate the way other immigrants in the past have done. Oh and know that advances in automation will make it nearly certain that they will never find long-term meaningful work.
3. Divide people – but make it sound noble “diversity”, “inclusion”, “equity”
4. Defund Police – And demoralize any that have not already been fired or left the force.
5. Blame Trump. When it all blows up – don’t worry because you can always find someone to blame and the media will back you up. The easy culprit – Trump.
Emigration reform to mitigate social progress and collateral damage at both ends of the bridge and throughout.
Biden says we need infrastructure bill to build day care facilities under bridges for illegal migrants.
How about that, the Biden Admin can’t even provide the inhumane facilities that DJT did. At least they were indoors out of 100+ degree sun. They could even get a drink from the toilet fountain.
There’s no fence for AOC to cry at. Heck there’s no parking lot, though maybe she could just dive up since it’s not a secured area. Assuming her car hasn’t been booted for illegal parking again.
“The law, in its majestic equality, forbids the rich as well as the poor to sleep under bridges, to beg in the streets, and to steal bread.”
–ANATOLE FRANCE
America is so progressive. We allow the poor to sleep under bridges. In fact, we insist on it, via armed “counselors” and detention zones that the non-poor cannot even see within without resorting to drones.
All we are missing now is appropriate signage. How do you say “Arbeit Macht Frei” in Spanish?
Obama put kids in cages.
Trump ended that, but the media universally blamed him for Obama’s caged kids.
Biden has opened the border so completely that even Obama’s kid cages proved woefully insufficient, and we’re now “housing” illegal aliens under highway overpasses.
