Scottish Schools Will Allow Kids as Young as Four to Change Gender Without Asking Parents
Keeping a parent in the dark about anything is not cool.
The Scottish government told schools they must allow kids to change their gender with or without their parents’ permission.
The rule affects children as young as four.

A 70-page document, issued to schools north of the border on Thursday, calls on teachers not to question pupils if they say that they want to transition to live as a boy or a girl and to instead ask them for their new name and pronouns.
The controversial guidance claims that it is possible to “come out” as transgender “at any age” and that the views of young people should be respected if they do not want their parents to be informed.
Scotland’s schools have also been told that trans pupils should be able to use whatever lavatory or changing room they choose, to develop “gender neutral” uniform options, and to include transgender characters and role models in reading material and lessons.
The government “recommended” a reading list with books “to promote trans inclusivity.” They “encouraged” posters that “challenge gender stereotypes.”
In other words, your school must have those books and posters:
One book included tells a story about a blue crayon which suffers an identity crisis because it was mistakenly labelled as red.
Another features a primary school-age narrator who says she has “a girl brain but a boy body” and claimed she knew that she was transgender as a toddler.
The character claims “pretending I was a boy felt like telling a lie” until an “amazing day” when she went to a doctor who diagnosed her as transgender.
The news thrilled LGBT groups. They think the change will allow children to “thrive.”
Others fear people will label children who play with toys not associated with their sex as transgender.
But most importantly, the rule takes away parents’ rights:
“This is really, really worrying,” said Marion Calder, co-director of the For Women Scotland campaign group. “The bottom line is that this is a dangerous ideology that the Scottish Government is pushing.
“It shows a failure in safeguarding and a removal of parental rights. It used to be commonly understood that children should be able to play and experiment with gender roles, with clothing, their likes and dislikes.
“Those children are now being encouraged on to a medical pathway, potentially for the rest of their lives. We should not be teaching children, and especially primary school children, that you can change sex, because you cannot change sex.”

The “blue crayon” thing is stupid, and it actually proves the normal, sane notion that innate physical characteristics cannot be changed.
The “trans” equivalent would actually be for the blue crayon to insist it was really truly red, even though it was colored blue and only made blue marks on the paper. Then everyone else would be gaslighted and labeled “haters” for pointing out the obvious that it was a blue crayon.
Seriously, what the hell is wrong with these people? SMH

These policies are not made by parents. No fit parent would ever EVER agree to such horrible policies. These policies are made by people who hate family structure and hate heterosexuals.
SCOTLAND WILL HAVE A REVOLUTION. If these policies are implemented parents will fight them. There is nothing that enrages people more than have bureaucrats f*ck with their kids. These types of policies are made by people whose heads end up on the top of 30 foot poles as a reminder for people to tread carefully when taking away their rights.

That is simply amazing! They can change children’s gender at school! How are they able to do? Wave a magic wand and say hocus pocus? Have they checked afterwards to see if it really works?

I drove around in Scotland back in 1969. For the most part, it was run down, dirty, neglected. Many of the people had this haggard look, akin to the look of beaten puppies. I was shocked and awakened when I saw this.

For those who laughed at the gay marriage slippery slope argument. That slippery slope branched out and led to many consequences no one would have dreamed of only a decade ago. And not by accident. Its most radical proponents had things like this in mind all along.

The organizations that say they speak for you are undermining your rights. The fight for gay rights – marriage etc – was won but the civil rights organizations that succeeded will not declare victory. They don’t want to go away. So to maintain their $$ and power they have morphed into political organizations. They now push an agenda that most gay people don’t want. And they bring life to all the things that straight people feared would come from gay rights. Pushing to allow kids to pick a gender is child abuse. Yes, some kids may truly have a gender issues but the vast majority do not and their are phycological problems that can occur by making average kids think gender is a choice. Pushing this agenda risks losing support of people who are starting to think that all gay people are Progressive and have extreme views on gender. It will erode trust in gay people. The Gay organization like HRC do not actually speak for all Gay people on these issues and more Gay people better “come out” and say this or Gay rights will suffer. You may not see it suffer – because people will not say it publicly but behind closed doors they will. Stand Up – Speak Out.
NO “gay” organization speaks for me. NONE. My thoughts on the gay marriage issue are: let us join in rights of inheritance, and that sort of thing, and i care not what they call any legally recognized union.

2+2 is politically congruent (“=”) to 5. Politically or socially congruent constructs (e.g. reproductive rites) vary with time and place, but are invariably exploited for leverage. The trans/homosexual orientation is a “stable”, perhaps intrinsic quality. That said, normalize, tolerate, or reject?

Thing that worries me the most is that by doing this accepting without question, instead of asking kids “Why” – they are endangering kids who may be reacting to, oh, abuse, neglect, trauma, mental illness, etc. Not every kid who suddenly declares “I want to be a boy/girl” is destined to grow up to be transgender. I’ve seen a 4 year old decide she wanted to be a boy because her new baby brother was getting all the attention, and she decided that her parent’s liked boys better than girls! Sheesh!

Allowing a confused, immature kid to begin “transition,” which will leave them sterile and more confused, without seeing if they will grow out of it (like over 90% do), is a form of child abuse much worse than genital mutilation.
Allowing such a child to begin drugs and surgery would be like allowing an anorexic kid to begin a program of diets and laxatives and go through bariatric surgery without finding out whether they really are fat.
The movie “XXY” surveys the damage that can occur. It is tragic.
