Twitter suspended Rebekah Jones for “platform manipulation and spam” nearly a year after the left gave her hero status for supposedly exposing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
The left hailed Rebekah Jones when she claimed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and his administration forced her to manipulate COVID-19 detail. She refused and they fired her.
Jones’s story unraveled right away, but the left kept propping her up. The weight on their shoulders took a toll when National Review’s Charles Cooke demolished her story piece by piece. Turns out officials fired her “for repeated performance failures and insubordination.”
Then Jones lied about the raid on her house. She pointed the finger at her debunked claim about DeSantis’s COVID manipulation. Yeah, she hacked Florida’s Emergency Alert System and sent out an activist text.
Jones cannot stop lying. She told journalist Forrest Saunders Twitter suspended her because she kept sharing her interview with the Miami Herald.
But DeSantis’s press secretary shot back:
