Twitter Suspends Rebekah Jones for ‘Platform Manipulation and Spam’
Would it shock you if I told you she’s lying about the reason why Twitter suspended her?
Twitter suspended Rebekah Jones for “platform manipulation and spam” nearly a year after the left gave her hero status for supposedly exposing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
The left hailed Rebekah Jones when she claimed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and his administration forced her to manipulate COVID-19 detail. She refused and they fired her.
Jones’s story unraveled right away, but the left kept propping her up. The weight on their shoulders took a toll when National Review’s Charles Cooke demolished her story piece by piece. Turns out officials fired her “for repeated performance failures and insubordination.”
Then Jones lied about the raid on her house. She pointed the finger at her debunked claim about DeSantis’s COVID manipulation. Yeah, she hacked Florida’s Emergency Alert System and sent out an activist text.
Jones cannot stop lying. She told journalist Forrest Saunders Twitter suspended her because she kept sharing her interview with the Miami Herald.
But DeSantis’s press secretary shot back:
Rebekah Jones was NOT “censored” by Twitter for anything she posted. She was suspended because she broke a clear rule against buying followers (platform manipulation) and — all evidence points to this — hijacking the accounts of unsuspecting users to make them follow her. pic.twitter.com/ubRxmXZAxw

In the whole cancel culture world I usually support the adage you live by the sword, you die by the sword, but this is not a cancel culture issue. This is Twitter once again doing the bidding of leftists who now want this loon to go away.
The Republican Party should use either her or Fauci as the poster-child for the Dem Party. They shows all that is wrong. Liars who are elevated to sainthood due to Trump Derangement Syndrome. And then receive continued support – doubling down – only because Dems hate Trump so much that they have a warped sense of reality.
Truth is – people don’t like liars. And the Dem brand is becoming the lie and dispute reality party.

Well, you have to admit she has good shoulders beneath that head!
There is no human right to use someone else’s private property.
Even if you’re starving to death and that property is a piece of bread, necessity is a defense, not a right. Stealing it is still a crime, but it’s excusable.
That’s very different from the government denying someone access to the entire internet.
Well, Twitter is hardly “the entire Internet”; that’s precisely the mistake soi-disant conservatives keep making.
But I’m done trying to explain to such people that demanding Big Daddy Government use its monopoly on the use of force to compel a private company to give people things for free is exactly the statist authoritarian behaviour such people claim to decry when the left does it. They want their free sh*t, just like the rioting crowds looting Target or the mobs at Walmart when the EBT system glitches.
If CV19 were as bad as we were told it was by her and everyone else, why did these jackasses constantly lie about it?

The truth didn’t matter. All that mattered was that the “Big Lie” was believed so that they could get rid of Trump. All the chaos of the past 18 months has been the progs seizing the opportunities presented by this “pandemic” to get rid of PDT.
They knew it wasn’t going to be as bad as they said. Otherwise the disease would have spoken for itself, and wouldn’t have needed the government/MSM fear machine. They got right to the fear, in spite of the lack of data, and didn’t let up, even as the more we learned, the less we feared COVID, and the more easily detected were the lies.

Honestly, they shouldn’t suspend her. They should just out her and let her take a good beating on that cesspool of word diarrhea. She’d probably lock her own account after they were done with her.

I was thinking it would be poetic if she now received months of cancelation.
She looks like she belongs in ad for porn.
It actually got me thinking “LI is really trying to broaden its reader appeal to the young”.
That might be her only available pivot down the road..
When the Rebekah Jones “story” started to hit here in Florida, it was run almost every day by Gannett Newspapers across the state.
The reason was simple – Gannett hates DeSantis and Jones’ attack on him made Desantis look bad.
Our local newspaper ran 68 articles on Jones, DeSantis, and the issues. The newspaper also had video interviews on their website of interviews they had done with her. (All of the interviews were sympathetic to her and anti DeSantis.)
When the article from the National Review hit, I called a journalist that I my group had worked with and asked if they were going to carry the story.
“We are not,” was the reply.
“Isn’t Jones being debunked important” we asked.
“You don’t understand….we can’t run it….we’ve been told not to or allow any mention of the story in opinion pieces or letters to the editor.”
Jones was about Jones in her mind, but the left leaning media saw it as a chance to take down DeSantis and that is why they won’t say anything about her story falling apart.
