Alaska Couple Raided By FBI Because They Attended Trump January 6th Rally

Alaska Couple Raided By FBI Because They Attended Trump January 6th Rally

‘We’re here for Nancy Pelosi’s laptop.’

Armed FBI agents reportedly broke down the door of an Alaska couple as they slept in their beds and accosted them with guns drawn, demanding that they turn over House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s laptop.

The couple had, like tens of thousands of other patriotic Americans, attended President Trump’s January 6th rally in Washington DC.  And like the vast majority of those in attendance, they did not enter the Capitol building.

The FBI, however, is apparently working under the misguided and dangerous belief that simply attending a Trump rally is suspicious, insurrectionist behavior.  This is a slippery slope, and it is horrifying.

The Alaska Watchman reports:

Paul and Marilyn Hueper, owners of Homer Inn & Spa, woke with a start at 9 a.m. April 28 when a dozen armed FBI agents kicked down their front door in an investigation associated with Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s stolen laptop, which was taken during the Jan. 6 siege of the nation’s Capitol.

Speaking April 29 to Kenai-based radio host Bob Bird of the Bird’s Eye View, Paul recalled that he was alarmed and shocked to come out of his bedroom with seven guns pointing at him and his wife.

“It was a little alarming when I turned around the corner,” Paul said. “The first thing they did was start barking out commandments.”

Ultimately, the couple was handcuffed and interrogated for the better part of three hours before being released. In the end, it was a case of mistaken identity.

The Huepers were in D.C. for the rally with President Trump, but they never came close to entering the Capitol, and certainly never took Pelosi’s laptop.

Apparently, the FBI went off half-cocked because Marilyn Hueper was wearing the same coat as some other woman who had entered the Capitol. Other than the coat, the two women look nothing alike (via Alaska Watchman).

These are our crack federal law enforcement agents at work. What a shameful disgrace.

The Alaska Watchman continues:

Paul said the agents ransacked the house and left a huge hole in his front door, which they offered to replace.

. . . . The Huepers were in D.C. but only to “peacefully protest.”

“That’s what we were there for,” he said, adding that they never broke any laws. In fact, Paul said they never entered the Capitol building and were “at most a hundred yards away” from the entrance.

Agents showed Paul a photo of the woman who did enter the Capitol and asked if that was his wife.

“They had the same coat on,” he told Bird, but said the face of the woman was quite different from his wife’s. “My wife is much better looking than that,” he said.

While separated from her husband, Marilyn was told why the agents were at their home.

“They said, ‘We’re here for Nancy Pelosi’s laptop,” she recalled. “So, I guess it was stolen and it is still at large.”

The agents then claimed that they had positively identified Marilyn as being in the Capitol building and that they wanted to know who she was working with.

. . . . When repeatedly told she was the woman in the photo, Marilyn responded by saying “I would like to know how I split myself into two locations because I didn’t know I had this power.”

The first photo agents showed her was very fuzzy and depicted a woman wearing a similar coat with a similar hairstyle. They then showed her a photo of the woman’s face.

She told them, “Oh that’s obviously not me. Why didn’t you show me that photo to start with?” The woman in the photo has detached earlobes – Marilyn’s are attached, she said. Plus, the woman was wearing a sweater that Marilyn said, “You couldn’t pay me to wear.”

The agents suggested that she was lying and not cooperating, she told Bird.

At no point was the couple read their Miranda rights or charged with any crime, and the agents left after three hours without offering an apology. They also took Marilyn’s phones and laptop, she said.

At some point, this madness has to stop.  Simply attending a sitting president’s rally is not a crime, federal or otherwise, but this government’s Trump derangement is completely out of control.

Actually, let me amend that, none of this is about Trump, per se. What it’s really about is silencing and terrifying through government power any non-woke American who refuses to toe the regressive socialist ideological line.

I think you are both right,, but innocent people do not think like this.. They were probably in shock.

kyrrat in reply to amwick. | May 1, 2021 at 8:44 pm

Yes, innocent people DO think like this. If they have had experience ‘seeing’ what happens sometimes (I would say often, but .. I’m refraining) when dealing with authorities. I did work in Death Penalty Opposition work groups in Texas. I’d tell anyone, no matter if they were pure as the driven snow, in fact, particularly if they are to close their mouth and ask for a lawyer any time someone wants to ‘question’ them, particularly if they break down a door.

If an FBI says good morning to me, I would demand a lawyer.

It’s so surreal. I mean this is the FBI. I once believed in them, respected them. This is crazy town, and there is literally no government agency I trust now. Not one.

Ben Kent in reply to Fuzzy Slippers. | May 1, 2021 at 9:22 pm

Agree 100%. FBI is a shadow of what it once was. Bunch of biased idiots now.

I question if it was EVER what the propaganda says they were.

          “Baised” is for writers.

When people with guns take away your freedom, “bias’ has nothing to do with it.

What’s most stunning is the lack of resistance of the FBI rank and file. Are they all corrupted?

MattMusson in reply to Ben Kent. | May 2, 2021 at 7:42 am

I finally realized that the rank and file FBI agents are waiting for someone to come and rescue them, just like the military and the People.

Everyone is waiting for someone to ride in on a white horse and return things to normal. But, that is not going to happen.

Quit waiting for someone to save you. Save yourselves. And, your country.

Brave Sir Robbin in reply to Ben Kent. | May 2, 2021 at 9:49 am

It sounds to me the FBI, to include the rank and file agents, are trying to provoke some sort of resistance to their heavy handed tactics and treatment of “suspects” and detainees to justify a use of force or even deadly force incident from Trump supporters.

If you choose to assert your rights and not cooperate, the chances of arrest increase. Just know that and be prepared. They will try and provoke you to some sort of action to justify arrest for a reason other than provided in a search warrant such as obstruction or telling a lie and then resisting arrest, and so forth.

They will be able to shoot you in the side of the neck for no reason, or throw you into eternal solitary confinement while waiting months and years for a court date and no one will give a damn. In fact, these actions will be cheered from certain quarters. Just be prepared for the consequences of non-cooperation or just becoming a target of investigation.

It’s almost to the point where sites like this need to inform people how to best behave when an FBI swat team arrives and kicks in your door. It’s not just prominent Trump supporters anymore who merit this sort of attention from the FBI. And anyone who thought it would stop there is deluded, and it will not stop hear unless it is stopped. Are the Republicans in government listening?

It’s all for intimidation folks. The rank and file needs to get their leadership under control or can only be considered to be complicit with this corruption.

If we should ever get control of the government again, the FBI must be presumed to be a corrupted organization and stripped apart and reorganized all the way down to recruitment and basic training.

Danny in reply to Ben Kent. | May 3, 2021 at 2:09 am

FBI has never been what you thought it was it only had a positive image because of propaganda about itself. It was founded by Jay Edgar Hoover which should tell you a great deal.

What every college communist group had in common was being mostly FBI informers, they did more of trying to create radicals than investigating radical behavior.

By the way since they consider anyone right of Lenin a radical now remember everything you say online is probably logged by them (including comments here).

We really need to win 2024 and remember the Deep State.

Sadly, after both. I’m a slow learner.

Lausyl in reply to Milhouse. | May 2, 2021 at 1:07 pm

Ronald Reagan once said “it is not that the liberals are ignorant; it is that they believe so much that isn’t true”.

I think that is true sometimes of conservatives. Many of us grew up watching things like “The Untouchables” which left us with a very romanticized view of the alphabet government agencies. Many of us have changed our views on the alphabet government agencies since then in light of new information. There is no shame in that. What is shameful is when a person who hold on to an outdated opinion out of cognitive dissonance or simply because he doesn’t want to admit he was wrong.

You’re making my argument of zero tolerance for milquetoast Republicans: they’re about to get many of us killed.

Wow, you got that from what I wrote? I must really (really) suck at communicating my ideas because that is the exact opposite of what I intended to convey.

Serious existential moment here since I communicate ideas in writing for a living. 😛

“Wow, you got that from what I wrote? I must really (really) suck at communicating my ideas because that is the exact opposite of what I intended to convey.

Serious existential moment here since I communicate ideas in writing for a living. ”

Fuzzy, don’t misunderstand my post, below: I’m just desperate for enough people on our side to see what is going on for what it is: we’re living through history, and it it’s going to get very bloody – and it will get more bloodly the longer it takes for people on the righteous side of things. Mere ‘voting’ is not enough: voting ‘machines’ are bullshit. We have to not only vote, but DEMAND or votes count.

Living through history always seems ‘surreal’. The problem with it is it doesn’t always seem REAL. What threatens us now is as real as hammer and sickle and the swastika that killed millions. This time, it’s BLM, Anitfa, Green Bill, Great Reset, and other names conjured up by the left/swamp/Islamic axis.

I hear you, Fine, and I know you are right. The goal, I think, is to thwart their evil plot by not responding. In some ways this is kind of easy since we really aren’t the RAAAACIST hillbillies they think we are; instead, we are the people we want to be, our true and best selves who will not rise to any but the final crossing of that redline. They, however, can’t cross it first because it is a redline, a do not cross warning as old as our Constitution and as deeply-ingrained in us as is our name.

They really think we hate black (and brown) people. We don’t, of course, never have. This is a serious problem for them since they have misread the room and are trying to start something they don’t want to be known as their fault. They can’t win this; we’ve already won it by not reacting as they expected. Their next volley will be a doozy, though, and equally ineffective because they do not know or even vaguely understand their self-declared “enemies” (i.e. half the freaking American population).

So they keep winning the culture war, the “be less white” wokest of the woke wars, but they will never defeat us. Take heart in that. They know exactly what will provoke the civil war they want and need, but they can’t go there without being culpable for the outcome. They will never come into the open like that. It’s so not narrative friendly. And stuff.

Ben Kent in reply to TheFineReport.com. | May 2, 2021 at 8:52 am

          Fine has a point.

For 30 years there has been a Marxist plan to stealthy indoctrinate kids, control the media and sow division. It’s been executed in small increments so no one would notice / complain.

The first step in destroying a country is to undermine the structure of its society by creating division.

With 30+ million illegals, and 30 million more on the way, America as we know it will be gone. We will have a third-world country with a small ruling class, a small professional class – and everyone else. Nothing against Hispanics – but our immigration law has quotas for entry precisely so that one or two countries cannot flood America with people.

The Democrat party will have votes to win every presidential election and to dominate the House.

Fuzzy – you assume that there is time for a normal backlash to build against these woke policies. I am not sure there is time. Marxists do not play by rules. They do not welcome debate. They play to win at all costs and they are sneaky and nasty. They do not come out and tell you they are Marxist (they know America does not want to change its socio-economic system). They are winning because they take advantage of America’s good nature and our openness.

Check out this video of a Soviet defector who describes the Marxist plan for subversion of the USA. It is chilling in explaining much of what we see happening today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQPsKvG6WMI

Lawyer up or she’ll never get those phones and laptop back.

Shiite, That’s terrible!

Under Obama and Lois Lerner, the IRS was surpetitiously used as a thug organization.

Under Biden – and Susan Rice and Anita Dunn – the FBI is overtly being used as a thug organization.

Where are the voices of the FBI rank and file?? Are they ALL far-gone?

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to TheFineReport.com. | May 1, 2021 at 8:54 pm

The IRS has been a weapon of many administrations.

Not more explicitly and illegally so as under Obama (though Nixon gives him a run for his money).

Milhouse in reply to Fuzzy Slippers. | May 1, 2021 at 10:23 pm

What do you mean by that? Nixon did not use the IRS as a weapon, and certainly not illegally. He couldnt’. The IRS would not take illegal orders from him.

Right, Nixon could not legally use the IRS as a weapon. He did so illegally. And often. As did Obama.

johnny dollar in reply to Milhouse. | May 2, 2021 at 12:03 am

The House Judiciary Committee, in the Bill of Impeachment approved by them, specified Nixon’s alleged misuse of the IRS as one of the grounds for impeachment.

Nixon was a piker compared to Obama.

First, Nixon was an America-first guy. Obama was – and remains – a traitor.

Second, Nixon didn’t arm the likes of the Department of Agriculture with machine guns, like Obama did.

Third, First Lady Pat Nixon wasn’t a fat, loud, ignorant, obnoxious asshole.

Agreed on all points. But Obama didn’t invent using Executive Branch agencies against his political and ideological “enemies” (his word, not mine). Nixon kicked that off with his corrupt use of the FBI (and other exec agencies, of course) specifically targeting those on his infamous enemies list. Nixon was no saint, but you are right, Obama was a zillion times worse in every conceivable way.

Don’t forget the weaponization of the medical industry, with endless propaganda about the China virus and “muh private business” acting as government proxies for liberty-stealing “mandates” like face diapers and vaxx passports as the price to pay to engage in everyday life.

Capitol police were also on hand. Talk about a “fishing trip”…. Just how many FBI agents and Capitol Keystone coppers does it take to “raid” these days? Historically, that many agents took down Baby Face Nelson, Pretty Boy Floyd and Dillinger. Nowadays that is required to bust into a bed and breakfast……

He’s lucky he didn’t have a doorpull on his garage, they would have sent 15 more.
Meanwhile, how’re the Seth Rich and Hunter Biden cases coming along?
    Mmm, manpower shortage…

FBI = KGB

Our government is being weaponized against political discourse.

This could have been handled in many different ways.

– The FBI could have placed a polite phone call.
– They could have gotten a wiretap (with or without Russian disinformation to justify it) or done plain, old-fashioned surveillance.
– They could have interviewed the couple’s friends and families to find out what they were up to.
– They could have checked their social media posts for relevant evidence.
– They could have contacted the couple’s lawyer and asked for evidence to be handed over, or for an interview.
– They could have looked at the picture and seen that it wasn’t the same woman.

But they didn’t do any of that. They were trying to make a statement. And they did. The statement, unfortunately, was, “We don’t have any idea what we’re doing but you’d better believe we’re serious!”

Congratulations to the FBI for earning their jackboots.

Or, gee, they could have simply rung the couple’s doorbell at a normal hour, been invited in, and told what they already knew.

Does anyone here really believe the FBI thought these two completely different women were the same woman? Even I don’t think the FBI is that dumb. Look at the pictures. Add in that the FBI has top-quality facial reccognition capability. HOW did they think these were the same woman? In completely different clothes and wtih completely different . . . faces.

The FBI was not there for any real (legal) reason and whoever signed that warrant should be held to account, as should the power-high FBI agents who made absolute asses of themselves accosting these people in their beds. I am ashamed for every single one of them. What a complete disgrace.

JusticeDelivered in reply to Fuzzy Slippers. | May 2, 2021 at 2:07 pm

The answer is that they wanted to make an example of this couple for publicity and terror effect.

The FBI has become a domestic terror organization – it’s that simple. Instead of car bombs, armed goons explode into your home in the dead of night.

The psychological damage to the vicitms must be horrendous. This is pure German Nazi terror. And it’s here.

Now for the topper: WHAT REPUBLICAN HAS DEMANDED THE FBI APPEAR BEFORE CONGRESS TO EXPLAIN THEIR HORRENDOUS ACTIONS? Answer: none.

If we don’t decimate the GOP (and in a literal sense: work to get at least 1 in 10 out of office. We should start with that useless lox, GOP Chair Rona Romney.

henrybowman in reply to irv. | May 2, 2021 at 12:11 am

    .

“We don’t have any idea what we’re doing but you’d better believe we’re serious!”

“You’d better get it straight that it’s not a bunch of boy scouts you’re up against… We’re after power and we mean it… Now that’s the system, Mr. Reardon, that’s the game, and once you understand it, you’ll be much easier to deal with.”

Can someone please tell Sean Hannity to stop the spewing the garbage about the great FBI rank and file?

Haha, he’s stuck in the old world before the FBI completely lost its way. Most people now get that the FBI is woke and, as such, a true danger to our Republic. That Sean doesn’t get that yet is kind of cute, but not worth our efforts. He’ll catch up in his own time.

Milhouse in reply to Fuzzy Slippers. | May 1, 2021 at 10:47 pm

the old world before the FBI completely lost its way.

How long ago are you talking?

As I already acknowledged, I’m the slowest of slow learners on the FBI’s disgusting corruption and defiling of their mission. I first got a clue with Ruby Ridge and Waco, but blamed the admins at the time. Then with the Hillary email server sham investigation. Comey, to me, was a completely corrupt POS, but I didn’t want to think the whole Bureau was utter and complete corrupt crap from the top down to the bottom up and everywhere in between. But it so very clearly is and has been for a good while. I can’t say when they lost their way, only that I am (now, finally) one hundred percent convinced that they have. And that it makes me sad.

Outing Comey as the corrupt POS he is was like turning over a large flat rock, and seeing an army of worms scurring about. In other words: by the time Comey’s corruption was discovered, the entire FBI and CIA had already been infiltrated with the likes of maggots like Comey and psycho traitors like Brennan.

Despite Sean Hannity’s opinion of a patriotic ‘rank and file’, the corruption could not have gone so long and so far and so deep without the cooperation and silence of the ‘rank and file’. The FBI rank and file are more akin to the corrupt rank and file of the NYPD during the times of Serpico:
          https://www.americanswhotellthetruth.org/portraits/frank-serpico

While the NYPD rank and file were corrupted and on the payroll of the NY Mafia, they were not traitors, nor did they agree to act like Mafia goons against the populace. The FBI rank and file have sold out our nation, and they are little more than the corrupt goons with guns badges that not even the corrupt NYPD became.

JusticeDelivered in reply to Longplay. | May 2, 2021 at 2:16 pm

I am prone to think Hannity is right, the FBI is a huge organization which is run top down. I have worked with FBI field agents who were very professional.

I am returning to my pond scum analogy, that scum rises to the top. Most large organizations end up run by scum, even churches who run cover for pedophiles are examples of this, It is safe to say that the majority of priests are probably decent people. But the scum at the top was not.

The same is no doubt true of the FBI.

What it’s really about is silencing and terrifying through government power any non-woke American who refuses to toe the regressive socialist ideological line.

This is how government in Chicago has operated for decades. It’s where Comrade Obama learned how to seize, and never yield back, power.

It’s The Chicago Way. It’s now also The FBI Way. And The DOJ Way. It was also the GDR Stasi Way.

Note that even though she was not who they were looking for they harassed her for three hours and seized her laptop and smartphones.

We now also have dozens of political prisoners held without bond.

This is no longer a free country. This is only the beginning. And the longer it goes on the harder it will be to ever go back to being a free country again. If that’s even possible at this point.

What you say, so starkly, is breath-taking . . . because you are right. Every single “Capitol Hill insurrectionist” is a political prisoner. There is no denying that with the anarchist hordes released immediately on bail (raised by Kamala Harris and her cohorts) despite having committed actual crimes beyond trespassing, and they are freed within hours.

Those held for the events on January 6th are still held, without bail, and some being beaten and left with life-altering disabilities as a result. I am so sickened by all of this, and I really don’t know what we can or will do. They want a race war, they want mayhem and murder and chaos. I don’t want that, no one does (well, except those instigating it).

In fact, I think they are completely frustrated by how restrained we have been. There are clear lines that they feel they cannot cross, and so far, they have been unwilling to go quite that far. Why? That’s the real question here because it shows their weakness . . . and our strength.

Sanddog in reply to Fuzzy Slippers. | May 2, 2021 at 12:01 am

The ones who are instigating the civil division know it will never be brought to their doorstep. That needs to change. Once they realize there’s a very high personal price to be paid, maybe they’ll have second thoughts about turning neighbor against neighbor.

They don’t want the blame on their doorstep, they want to prod and poke and push us into an undue response. So far, we are stubbornly refusing these efforts. They will just keep upping the ante, pushing to bar, and hoping that we will respond. We won’t because our redline is also one they know better than to cross. Stalemate on the race war front. But they have other fronts, and they are winning on all those.

Again: if we had a Republican party we could trust, the left would not be winning on any front.

          We have Rona Romney.

Again, we have to build the Republican Party we can trust. And to that end, we have to ackowledge that the best we can hope for in some areas is a squishie loser prog that the voters there want to represent them because they are all on board with squishiedom. Accept that, and we can do great things in terms of reshaping the party, but insisting on every Congress critter meeting some MAGA criteria is just dumb (not because MAGA is wrong, it’s not, but because some voters reject anything that smacks of rightwing nuttery—which is you. And me. And many of us here.).

That’s okay. I would rather have ten Boehners in the House than even one more AOC. At least the Boehners will vote GOP like 80% of the time. The AOC will never ever vote GOP. Ever. You cannot have your whole cake, Fine. Not ever. Take the slice you get, be happy with it, and hope it votes (R) more often than not. Otherwise, you are effectively running AOC in Trump country and doomed to lose over and over and over.

Now, if your idea is to just let the commie regressives run the country into the ground as quickly as possible (so recovery is quicker once the masses wake the hell up), that’s also a plan.

What is not a plan is insisting that every Congress critter must think like Fine (and Fuzzy) or they are loser RINO uniparty sell-outs who are destroying our country . . . and either Jeff Sessions or Bill Barr is to blame! Wait, maybe they both are!

That’s not helpful or good. Hey, how can we replace, even with another RINO POS, crazy Liz Cheney? That’s a plan. Get her out and gone, she’s poison. If a Liz thinkalike is elected in her stead, who the hell cares. Liz Cheney must go. We’ll deal with the disgusting RINO SOS that takes her place later. Or never. Maybe Wyoming just likes RINO sacks? If they do, better any RINO sack than Liz.

That’s just an example, but you get the picture. Chip away at the crap, replace high-level RINOs with newbies who can chirp all day long about how much they hate America and want to start a new war somewhere, but no one will listen because they are newbie nobodies (unlike Liz Cheney).

There is no magic wand, there is just us. And we can’t affect change in a day or a year, not even in one, three, twelve election cycles. We have to care about preserving our Republic at least as much as the left cares about destroying it. They know they want to create some brave new commie world from our great country’s ashes. They stick to their guns; we are still wandering around wondering where our guns are and if, once we find them, they’ll even fire. They are all focused and determined, while we flail around upset and angry but without a clear plan to take our country back. That is why they are winning (not because of McConnell or Mittens or McCain or whatever dead Republican you want to dig up and flog). We are losing this, all on our own. And we need to get our act together post hasty.

What is an “undue response” to tyranny, exactly?

Personal price was how I dealt with crooked CEOs. Even when I did not get what I should have, I made damn sure that they did.

For three hours, they acted like power-mad sadists, on the level of Grechen Whitmer or Cuomo.

takeo_ischi | May 1, 2021 at 10:35 pm

you say this has to stop – I believe it never will. We are not on a slippery slope. We are at the bottom of the slippery slope looking back and wondering what happened. There is no nexus of power at the federal level left to fight this kind of abuse. Nothing will happen to the FBI and they will keep doing this sort of thing. Just like the domestic spying.

    henrybowman in reply to takeo_ischi. | May 2, 2021 at 12:12 am

You think we’re at the bottom?
    Optimist.

      We’re not even CLOSE.

Here’s what’s coming: inflation is coming; Biden’s further mental decline will force him out of office, and a STUPID, corrupted slut coming in. Kamala Harris is in so over her head, she’s going to be nothing more than a desperate slave to the most radical of pscyhos infesting DC.

That moron Harris will cackle as Rome/America burns.

If we don’t start talking about secession now, we’re going to be trapped and in a bloodbath.

At least Lon Horiuchi wasn’t there. If he had been, he would have blasted the Huepers and collected two more notches on his gun belt.

OTOH: given how crooked and corrupt the FBI is, the ranks are probably swelling with more Horiuchi clones every year. I have zero doubt that in this raid the FBI did everything they possibly could to provoke the Huepers so they would have an excuse to murder a pair of “insurrectionists” and trumpet the fact to the Joseph Goebbels media.

alaskabob in reply to Recovering Lutheran. | May 2, 2021 at 12:10 am

A reminder about Ruby Ridge…. the FBI;s actions including Horiuchi’s were eventually ruled unconstitutional. Their excuse…. “there was no overriding legal authority to stop us”. They literally took the law into their own hands…. since no judge was there… it was “weapons hot”. I firmly believe Horiuchi intentionally put the crosshairs on Weaver’s wife waiting for the running companion of Weaver’s to run through the crosshairs and get them both. To “accidentally” kill the mother is unprofessional of an FBI sniper at les than 100 yards. The initial US Marshal ninja attack without IDs also puts the spotlight on them. By the way.. Larry Potts ran both Ruby Ridge and Waco… promoted because of them.

MarkS in reply to alaskabob. | May 2, 2021 at 8:15 am

The authority to stop this sort of thing is, unfortunately, illegal

Dathurtz in reply to alaskabob. | May 2, 2021 at 9:09 am

Imagine anybody thinking it was an accident. At 100 yards I can pick which chamber of a moving deer’s heart I want to hit. I am a mediocre marksman with a rifle.

alaskabob in reply to Dathurtz. | May 2, 2021 at 11:39 am

Both Weaver and Koresh could have been arrested at any time in their respective towns. Both times the government wanted to show power…one mindset… Overwhelming lethal brute force. It was proved the Branch had converted 5 ARs into full auto. The melted remains are in storage. Just like James Earl Ray’s rifle….never tested for accuracy .

FBI needs to be disbanded with all serving in it permanently barred from contact with anyone associated in any way with the replacement organization.

This is effectively the same as fascism.

This is the oath every FBI agent must take:

“I [name] do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

    What bastards, eh?

henrybowman in reply to Danny. | May 3, 2021 at 3:20 pm

Or perhaps, what we really need is NO replacement organization.

The Constitution of the United States [has] delegated to the Congress a power to punish treason, counterfeiting the securities and current coin of the United States, piracies and felonies committed on the high seas, and offences against the laws of nations, and no other crimes whatever.
    –THOMAS JEFFERSON, THE KENTUCKY RESOLUTIONS

America started out with three federal crimes: treason, counterfeiting, and piracy. In 1998, the American Bar Association counted more than 3,300 separate federal criminal offenses on the books, more than 40% of which had been enacted in just the past 30 years… Today, the Congressional Research Service says it no longer can even say how many federal crimes exist. Are we that much more evil than we were 200 years ago that we need this many laws to keep us off each other? Or has the nanny state veered completely out of control?

My gosh, what woman *doesn’t* own that black coat.

The laptop and cell phones were maliciously seized. There was no reason to take them, and it will cost more in legal fees than they’re worth to get them back.

I want to see the warrant. The FBI clearly knew these people had nothing to do with the incursion into the Capitol building (indeed, the photos definitively demonstrate to even an untrained, casual observer that they are of two completely different women), so why was the FBI at their residence in the early morning hours, breaking down their door, trashing their residence, confiscating their property, and intimidating innocent civilians with firearms? Who signed the warrant and on what evidence? That’s the key because if this raid was as snafu as it sounds, . . . screw the laptop and cell phones, they’ll win enough to replace them many times over.

There seem to be only two options.
      1. The FBI is really this corrupt and incompetent.
      2. Some sane (in a particular way) people at the FBI realize how illegal it is to conduct this jihad against anybody who showed up for a political rally, and since they can’t stop it, they can darned well push it so hard that every Left-bent politician and media outlet will eventually see the light. (or at least a glimmer as political control of the Executive and Legislative branch return to sane people)

      Both options frighten me.

MarkS in reply to georgfelis. | May 2, 2021 at 8:22 am

Even the Keystone Kops weren’t that incompetent..it’s corruption and the FBI was sending a message to Trump supporters

The Packetman in reply to Fuzzy Slippers. | May 2, 2021 at 11:41 am

“Who signed the warrant and on what evidence? That’s the key …”

A judge who has absolute immunity, so it really doesn’t matter who signed the warrant …

“… if this raid was as snafu as it sounds, . . . screw the laptop and cell phones, they’ll win enough to replace them many times over.”

They’ll win nothing … it’s a miracle the FBI offered to pay for their door.

alaskabob in reply to Fuzzy Slippers. | May 2, 2021 at 11:54 am

Who says “incriminating” evidence can not be placed on the laptop or cell phone? Remember the TSA question as to whether your travel gear has always been in your possession? Modern Beria forensics can appear. Far fetched?

Rush Limbaugh once questioned whether the CIA intentionally misled W to invade Iraq. Considering the tight knit ranks of CIA/FBI/NSA who knows?

pst314 in reply to Fuzzy Slippers. | May 3, 2021 at 7:35 pm

“Who signed the warrant and on what evidence?”

A judge who can be counted on to sign anything.

A 100 thousands McCabes, Strzoks , Pages, Muellers, Comeys. The most corrupt agency in the history of America. I was talking to a court officer the other day. She mentioned that she does not know a single attorney, left or right, that believes the FBI is anything but corrupt. I was shocked.

I hope the Happy Camps are better than the other Communists or Nazi runs were.
The FBI does understand everyone doesn’t wear one off clothing and manufacturers make 10s of thousands of a item?

Is it legal to dox FBI agents? Asking for a neighbor

texansamurai | May 2, 2021 at 2:56 pm

the facts reported so far about this incident are, quite simply, shocking

was there(or is it not even necessary anymore)”probable cause” to issue the warrant?

these folks, armed, broke down the door of a private residence and proceeded to interrogate two citizens(presumably while still at gunpoint)for three hours, seized property under some pretext, and then gratuitously offer to repair the front door when leaving without so much as an apology for such an egregious breach of the couple’s civil rights?

bs–these folks(the intruders)are damned lucky they were able to leave unscathed

The FBI is now the secret police arm of the Dhimmi-crat Party; a gleeful Stasi, if you will.

After the FBI’s lawless, corrupt and illegal machinations in spying on, subverting and sabotaging candidate Trump and President Trump, on behalf of vile Obama and crone Clinton, Americans have no reason to respect or trust the FBI, ever again. And, don’t get me started on the FBI’s propagation of, and, perpetuation of, the vile Dhimmi-crats’ despicable, contrived propaganda slander that alleged “white supremacists” — AKA, any American who rejects Dhimmi-crat orthodoxies and who opposes the Dhimmi-crat agenda — represent the greatest domestic security threat.

daniel_ream | May 2, 2021 at 7:25 pm

I think the US passed an event horizon with the fraudulent election of Biden. At this point there’s only two ways forward, Chile or Venezuela. And Trump doesn’t have it in him to be Pinochet.

healthguyfsu | May 3, 2021 at 2:11 am

The good news is that whoever does have that laptop now knows that the FBI is on the trail and got a tip off. I hope those a-holes and their overlords never find the thing but it ends up on wikileaks or somewhere else!

Screw them all and I hope they all drop dead honestly.

“Paul said the agents ransacked the house and left a huge hole in his front door, which they offered to replace.”

Well that’s a first.

Having seen pictures of the two women side by side, it’s pretty obvious that they *do look quite a bit alike.

It’s also obvious why the FBI followed up on the lead.

    ThePrimordialOrderedPair in reply to Recon5. | May 5, 2021 at 5:48 pm

What “lead”? A picture of someone who entered the Capitol? Did they have a picture of this lady anywhere near Pelousi’s office or her carrying a laptop? I would imagine that, with the surveillance in the Capitol, they would have some clear photos of a person physically carrying the laptop out of the office.

ThePrimordialOrderedPair | May 5, 2021 at 5:46 pm

These are our crack federal law enforcement agents at work. What a shameful disgrace.

Not shameful, criminal.

The FBI should be abolished. They’ve become nothing but state police, Gestapo. They’ve been corrupt since J. Edgar.

I see nobody is waiting to see what information the FBI had before they launched this raid. I see everyone simply believes whatever this woman says. I see nobody has any idea of what the facts, are, but by golly, everyone is super excited and determined to declare that the FBI are total communists that are trying to destroy the country.
I am so old that I remember when people used to wait until they had all the facts before they came to any conclusions. Now we are a kind of pscycho America, running our mouths and making all sorts of declarations before we know ANYTHING.
Such people are easy to manipulate. Well, if you want to be an “easy to manipulate person” make sure you explode with rage over every article you read on some bogus website.
