Joy Behar, Juan Williams Think Cop Who Shot Ma’Khia Bryant Should Have Fired Warning Shots

My best friend said it best: Can you imagine being an adult and not understanding gravity?

The left is trying *so hard* to equate Ma’Khia Bryant’s shooting with George Floyd’s murder.

Joy Behar and Juan Williams think the cop should have fired warning shots. Yes, let’s fire warning shots in a neighborhood while surrounded by people.

Joy Behar

Has Behar ever said anything intelligent? Ever? I hear crickets.

We can add another item to the list of stupid things Behar said in her lifetime:

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg said, “Joy, you were talking to Don Lemon about this last night apparently. Tell us.”Behar said, “Well, he texted me because I mentioned this case yesterday vis-a-vis the George Floyd case. He said you know that the cop had no choice or something to that effect. My feeling is I don’t know if that’s true or not. I really can’t figure it out anymore.”Behar said, “I mean, it seems to me in a situation — This is what it looked to me. I looked at the tape and still can’t figure it out. Shoot the gun in the air as a warning. Tase a person. Shoot them in the leg. Shoot them in the behind. Stop them somehow. If the only solution is to kill a teenager, there’s something wrong with this. There’s something wrong with the way these things are being conducted. Even if the cop had to do it, there’s something wrong with it. I can’t explain it any better than that.”She added, “We keep talking about this over and over, and kids still keep getting shot. It’s like the gun issue in this country. People keep getting shot, and nothing gets done about it. It’s a very frustrating conversation to have. I can’t add much to it.”

Juan Williams

Oh, Juan:

“All right, first of all, it’s not a knife fight when only one person has a knife, that’s a butcher shop,” co-host Jesse Watters began, asking Williams what he might do if he were the officer in a similar situation.“You see mayhem, there’s a guy that’s kicking a girl down to the ground and another woman lunging at a defenseless woman like this with a sharp blade, you have seconds to react. She doesn’t put the knife down when you warn her,” Watters said. “What does Juan Williams, Officer Juan Williams do to save the lady’s life in pink?”“I guess I would shoot the gun, not necessarily at somebody, but maybe shoot the gun and maybe run at the person and try to disarm them, like I don’t know,” Williams replied.“So wait, wait, wait. You would shoot the gun in the air like a warning shot?” Watters pushed back.“Ah, well, hopefully to distract her and tried to stall or something so I could get — or my partner could get the knife away,” Williams continued. “Policing is tough work. But all I’m saying is, you know, I think that that woman with a knife is a danger to society and certainly a danger to the other person and we want her to stop and be disarmed. I just also think killing a human is pretty radical. I don’t think that’s a good thing.”
