MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell announced he plans to file two countersuits against Dominion Voting Systems: one on behalf of him and the other on behalf of his company.
Dominion filed a $1.3 billion defamation suit against Lindell after he implied it rigged the 2020 presidential election against President Donald Trump.

“You’re also going to have MyPillow going after Dominion in a countersuit, and that’s going to your First Amendment speech,” Lindell said on former Trump adviser Steve Bannon’s War Room: Pandemic podcast. “You’re going to have me go after them, countersuing them.””There are two cases. One will be MyPillow, one will be Mike Lindell,” the Minnesota native and outspoken Trump supporter continued. “We’re both going after them. They’re a little bit different because one of them — what Dominion did was violate the First Amendment rights of everyone in this country by using bullying lawsuits and RICO law.”
Lindell claimed Dominion is telling news outlets, “If you let this guy on, we’re going to sue you, too.”
“That’s racketeering, that goes back to the mafia days,” Lindell concluded.
Dominion CEO John Poulos told CNBC the lawsuit against Lindell is “definitely not the last.” It will go after anyone who pushed claims the company helped rig the election.
“We are not ruling anybody out,” said Poulos, when asked if he would sue Fox News.
Dominion demanded media outlets and other people “preserve records related to the 2020 election in case of potential litigation.”
Alan Dershowitz is helping Lindell’s lawyers with the lawsuit against him, but has a “limited role.”
He told The Hill he believes “it is a very important First Amendment case.”
Dershowitz served on Trump’s team during the first impeachment trial.
