Sen. Rand Paul, who is a physician, scorched Dr. Anthony Fauci because he wants Americans to wear a mask until 2022 even if they had the COVID-19 vaccine or the virus:
“You’ve been vaccinated and you parade around in two masks for show,” Paul continued. “You’re defying everything we know about immunity by telling people to wear a mask that have been vaccinated.”’
“You want to get rid of vaccine hesitancy? Doctor Rand Paul is not anti-vaccine and he is easily conservative enough for well not just me but for millions of people who vote for him.
Unlike the masks or if one vaccine Britain says is safe that Germany and France (without evidence in my opinion based on data produced) says isn’t is safe for market right now the concept of vaccination and getting vaccine is a science vs anti-science debate.
If what they were giving was an actual vaccine as vaccines have been done for years then you would find agreement. However what is being called a “vaccine” now is NOT a vaccine and is instead gene therapy intended to reprogram your immune system to target a specific protein that can occur in many places OTHER than the virus and also the mechanism they are using to perform this reprogramming does not have a point at which it stops. This means that your immune system can be pushed in a state where it either breaks down and you develop an immune deficiency or it can go to the other extreme and you end up with at the least an overactive immune system where you develop major rashes and other painful growths or in the worst case an auto-immune disease that eventually kills you. So while I welcome vaccines, I think I will let other be the lab mice for this dangerous experiment. Also since I have already had COVID there is little reason to take the major risks.
The flu vaccine has been around for how long? Gene therapy is a respected part of our medical system.
Rand Paul as a doctor would be the first person to tell you take your medicine. In his capacity as a senator he is against forcing you to do it that doesn’t mean you should refuse to take your medicine.

Also, when/if he did ever actually practice his specialty was Internal Medicine, so just a basic hospital doc. NOT an Epidemiologist or even Infectious Disease.

The treatments you note other than zinc have no demonstrable impact on Covid. As for zinc it might have a positive impact bit is far less effective than a vaccine. If you are going to have a crack at someone in the manner you do you might want to establish a scientifically coherent position instead of sounding like an idiot.
I am pretty certain that I had WuFlu last spring, Marx311, and I, like the 99% of people who get it, survived just fine. I was wiped out for like two weeks, but even with my heart condition, I was not hospitalized, nor, clearly, did I die. I did use zinc lozenges to help my cough, which was horrible, and I did drink a lot of oregano tea (black tea–Tetley, my fave–honey, ground oregano, milk), and besides the stunning level of fatigue (far more then when I was recovering from a heart procedure), it just came and went.
Can I say the zinc helped? Well, no. But can you say, definitively, that it didn’t? Of course not. “Sounding like an idiot,” it would appear, is relative. I have warned you about insulting our readers before, yet again you do it. Do you think this is helping your case here? At all? It’s certainly not endearing you to me, Marx boy.

Actually, there are a large number of studies demonstrating the efficacy of the cocktail, if taken early during symptom onset.

Thanks for the link, it’s one of the few studies I’ve seen that’s supportive of HCQ. It does appear from a methodology point of view to be a combination of all three previously mentioned treatments so it’s different to many of the studies I’ve previously looked at. Never the less the evidence for each in isolation is still limited but from that study appears that as a combined treatment may have some.efficy.

Who is peddling non-scientific remedies, though? This I don’t get. You do understand from all your reading of scientific studies that literally 99% of people who contract WuFlu survive, right? That a minuscule portion are hospitalized, and that even fewer actually die (and those that do tend to be elderly, have underlying and pre-existing health conditions, and sometimes were involved in motor vehicle accidents that caused the fatality, though, if they tested positive, they were racked up as a COVID death).
