The Antifa/blm comparison is pretty annoying. There was plenty of blame to go around with those events. Having the police kettle the protestors and now them down with cars hardly produced a civil environment. For clarity I’m still condemning any criminal activities carried out but a little context does shine it in a different light.
Normally we hope for justice to be blind and do not look for excuses for people destroying other’s property and injuring or killing them. Either rioting and violence is bad or it isn’t.

There is a lot of video evidence and reporting on the events at the capitol. There will be a lot of evidence for prosecutions.

It’s sort of humorous that Trump didn’t send a mob per se, but what showed up at the Capitol was a bunch of unarmed voters, something that the Political class never wants to smell.
The authoritarian meme that has been in place for 5 years would have had Trump sending the military.
He does need to remove all uncertainty about his stance on violence. That is something no lefty has done.

The real hypocrites are all the congresscritters who hid behind their seats and the capital police yesterday but refused (and mostly still refuse) to condemn the riots, arson, looting, and murders committed over the last six months by the BLM/Antifa gangs. They don’t seem to understand that they are telling those of us who want our Constitution back that the only way to get any response from any of them, no matter what letter is after their name, is by similar violence.

There was no ‘violence’ at the rally yesterday. We were unarmed and had no handy stacks of bricks nearby to use. Some agent provocateurs broke a windows and vandalized a bit inside. I heard people yelling at them to ‘touch nothing’, and they ignored us. If the capitol police have so much trouble with a bunch of angry patriots, this revolution will last about a day. It *is* the ‘People’s House’ after all, no?
The family of the dead police officer might disagree. Reports so far indicate some of the protestors were armed, have assaulted circa 50 officers and the death count I think is four or five.

You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to know that every politician should call out political violence. The left refuses to do so. Trump also should have realized that when mob mentality takes over a crowd, bad shit happens.
Durham’s investigation is on going. Its not clear if it will continue once the new administration is in place. I haven’t heard anything in terms of a report or potential prosecutions. Think it’s just one case so far.

Your commentary is pretty ambiguous. From an evidence perspective it’s well known that evidence has been submitted to the courts and assessed for example the Brann case. There was also the case where expert reports were submitted and countered. I’m not clear what GOP lawyers have to do with anything given they are separate from the Trump legal team. It also seems from your wording that the first lawyer made a claim and then was chastised for not reading the claims.

Congress should have exercised forward-thinking and invited a delegation to represent the People and present their concerns. Americans have standing and civil rights.
