Biden Forgets Romney’s Name, Refers to Him as “The Senator Who is a Mormon”

Joe Biden is having a Joe Biden kind of day. I mean, how many of these gaffes and goofs does one need to witness in order to think that something is wrong?

Biden could not remember Sen. Mitt Romney’s name nor could he remember the office he’s running for.

“The Senator Who is a Mormon”

Biden said today that Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s Catholic faith should not come into question during her confirmation hearings.

Biden said, “You may remember, I got in trouble when we were running against that senator who is a Mormon, the governor.”

Back in 2012, Biden told a black audience that then-Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his running-mate Paul Ryan would “put y’all back in chains.”

“I’m Running as a Proud Democrat for the Senate”

This is the second time Biden has said he is a Democratic candidate for the Senate.

Biden said this back in February:

“You’re the ones who sent Barack Obama the presidency. And I have a simple proposition here: I’m here to ask you for your help. Where I come from, you don’t go very far unless you ask. My name’s Joe Biden. I’m a Democratic candidate for the United States Senate,” he said.

Forgets He is in Ohio, Gives the Wrong Website

The tweet is now gone, but Biden tweeted earlier he would be in Pennsylvania.

He actually went to Toledo, Ohio.

Biden also told voters to go to IWill.com/Ohio, which does not exist. I guess he meant IWillVote.com.
