I like Van Jones, rarely for his views, but because I think he’s an honest and pretty sensible intellectual.
I do not like Van Jones’s politics in the least. But on several occasions he had proven himself to be a mostly honest person.
The question is this: why in the world is Van Jones telling the truth (that we really all know anyway) when the only thing it can do is depress the Dems more about Biden. Maybe the elites condescended to him and he’s just subtly getting payback.

Low expectations isn’t a goal, and that speech was a garbage.
I’m only getting two impressions about the DNC.
1. It was so gloomy and depressing, even those who tuned in to watch didn’t hang around.
2. The only people who seem to think it was a “home run” are the anti-Trump establishment desperados.
This was not an impactful convention. If anything, it took wind out of their sail… if there was any in the beginning. No one is happy about the Dem ticket except Trump! They tried to separate the truly radical speeches from the merely crazy left-wing pablum airing only the pablum which only served to dishearten “both” sides of the already disheartened Democrat base (whatever that is these days).
Now comes the RNC where Trump is going to blow them away with facts, a crystal clear and upbeat message. His confidence will be presented against the gloomy backdrop the Democrats chose to go with. Thank you Democrats and NeverTrumpers!
Meanwhile, those of us disenfranchised from the system are quietly biding our time stewing in endless house arrest and counting the days to the election. November can’t come fast enough.

Biden disgraced himself by repeating the Charlottesville Lie, the same lie he used to open his campaign – while claiming that he wanted to return decency to the White House. Greg Gutfield on The Five did a tremendous critique of Biden’s Charlottesville Lie yesterday. Most other conservative commenters have ignored it and I am sure that by now that this lie is believed by most Americans.
So what you’re saying is that you have a different standard for Biden than for Trump? Go figure…
