CNN’s Stelter Tells Trump Attorney Jenna Ellis She’ll ‘Regret’ Defending Trump ‘When Your Kids, Grandkids Look Back at This’

Personal attacks are usually off-limits, but if it happens, you do not bring in kids.

Is anyone shocked CNN’s Brian Stelter did just that to shame President Donald Trump’s senior legal adviser Jenna Ellis into shutting up?

It all started when Stelter brought up Trump’s fit over a CNN poll that put Joe Biden ahead of him by 14 points and his tweet urging people to drop Comcast.

The Trump campaign handed CNN “a cease and desist letter” along with a demand “they apologize and delete a poll showing Biden with a formidable lead over the president, which is consistent with other recent polls on the ex-veep’s 2020 fortunes.”

Stelter lost his damn mind. I guess he forgot that President Barack Obama went all out against Fox News. Granted, he did it more eloquently, but it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

From The Washington Examiner:

“He is the first one to actually use his platform as an American citizen to be able to call out the fake news media,” Ellis said, referring to Trump.Stelter then interrupted Ellis.”You understand that someday you’re going to regret this, right?” he said. “Someday you’re going to regret this when your kids and your grandkids look back at this time … “Ellis said she took Stelter’s comment personally.”Oh, now you’re going with personal attacks, that’s when you know you lost the debate, Brian,” she said.

Did Stelter stop? No:

“I think in 10 or 20 years if we just sit down and talk about this, you’ll recognize how damaging it was,” Brian said. “How damaging it was to use terms like fake news to attack journalists who are trying to do their jobs.”And that’s when Ellis had to burst Brian’s bubble: “You’re not a journalist, Brian. You’re an activist. That’s the problem. You have an agenda, and your agenda is anti-Trump,” Ellis said.

Imagine the outrage from the left if someone said this to a leftist woman.

Trump’s campaign quickly defended Ellis.
